Lil Nas X to Release Original Song ‘Here We Go!’ for Eddie Murphy’s ‘Beverly Hills Cop’ Sequel

Lil Nas X is heading to Hollywood. As announced Tuesday (June 18), the hitmaker will contribute a new original song to the Eddie Murphy-led film Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F, which arrives on Netflix July 3.

Titled “Here We Go!,” the track will be released ahead of the film on June 28. The project is already available to pre-save.

In honor of the partnership, the 25-year-old rapper posed for a photo with Murphy, which Netflix shared on Instagram. The “Old Town Road” musician reshared the snap on his Story.

Trending on Billboard

The news comes a few weeks after the streaming platform unveiled the trailer for Axel F, which is directed by Mark Molloy and serves as the fourth installment in the Beverly Hills Cop franchise. Murphy first played the titular Detroit detective Alex Foley in 1984, and last filled his shoes in 1994’s Beverly Hills Cop III.

This time around, Murphy’s character must team up with a new partner, played by Joseph Gordon-Levitt, to protect his daughter, played by Taylour Paige, when her life is threatened. In the process, they uncover a conspiracy.

“Here We Go!” will mark the Lil Nas’ first solo release since “Where Do We Go Now?,” which appeared in his 2023 documentary Long Live Montero. He also recently teamed up with Camila Cabello on the single “He Knows,” which followed his duet “Tennessee” with Kevin Abstract.

The Georgia native hasn’t released an album since his 2021 debut LP Montero. Featuring the Billboard Hot 100-topping hits “Industry Baby” and “Montero (Call Me By Your Name),” the project peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200.

Elton John’s New Documentary ‘Never Too Late’ to Debut at Toronto International Film Festival

More than a year after his farewell tour officially wrapped, Sir Elton John would like to give fans an inside look at his life on the road.

On Tuesday (June 18), the Toronto International Film Festival announced its first slate of film premieres, including the world debut of Elton John: Never Too Late. Directed by David Furnish, who is John’s husband, and R.J. Cutler, the new documentary will premiere at TIFF in September alongside Amy Adams’ new horror-comedy Nightbitch and Mike Flanagan’s The Life of Chuck.

According to IMDb, John’s new documentary will show “never-before-seen concert footage of him over the past 50 years, as well as hand-written journals and present-day footage of him and his family.” A report from Deadline back in May 2022 added that the documentary will focus on John’s Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour, documenting his final shows in the U.S., “culminating in his November performance at Dodger Stadium in his final North American show.”

John’s farewell shows went on to do more than just close his touring career. During its four year run, the Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour became the first in history to cross the $900 million mark, making it the highest grossing tour in history by the time it wrapped in July 2023.

Trending on Billboard

Recently, John’s efforts have been focused on his charitable work with the Elton John AIDS Foundation. Shortly before the start of Pride Month, the singer announced the organization’s “Speak Up Sing Out” challenge, asking fans to perform a section of his classic hit “Your Song” before tagging someone who inspires them. One entrant will win an opportunity to meet John and Furnish in person.

Some of the standout qualities that go beyond its $10 price tag include its wide range of colors and its use of plant-derived squalene and hyaluronic acid, which help deliver moisture and nourishment naturally. TikToker Vianney Strick has also gained more than 55,000 views for a review on the Color Fetish Lip Stain in the shade Mauve Mentality, describing its uses and benefits.

“It’s so glossy, looks stunning on its own or as a lip combo,” Strick says in the video. “Also, something super important: it looks wearable. It’s not bright pink or purple, it’s a beautiful shade.”

✨NEW DRUGSTORE LIP STAIN✨ this is the new Milani Cosmetics Color Fetish Hydrating Lip Stain! I have the shade “Mauve Mentality.” I love a lip stain but I hate when it’s drying. I was super excited to try a drugstore lip stain and it did not disappoint! (For the lip liner I used the Tower 28 lip liner in “work of art”) ?description & claims: Lip color goes low maintenance with Milani’s Color Fetish Hydrating Lip Stain. Buildable, glossy color transforms into a semi-matte stain. Lightweight formula cushions lips with Hyaluronic Acid & Squalane for up to 8HRS of hydration, comfort & wear.* $13.99 USD ?my opinion: I love everything about it! The color range is beautiful! I love the precise applicator for lining the lips. It’s super pretty and glossy and not goopy. Leaves a pretty stain behind and it doesn’t dry my lips out. To help further prove its longevity, one TikTok influencer wore the lip stain on an 11-mile run while training for a half marathon and gave a first-hand review. Target has also labeled the lip product one of its most viral products seconding the “luxury results for less” point that reviewers have been talking up.

Milani Color Fetish Lip Stain

The $10 lip stain comes in a range of six shades including soft pinks and deep reds that’ll help complete your makeup looks whether it’s for date night or brunch with friends. Each application remains on for up to eight hours a day and it uses a vegan formula that will leave behind a semi-matte texture after drying.

How Long Does Lip Tint Stain Last?

This will depend on your wants and needs, as different brands’ lip stains won’t last the same amount of time. Milani’s Color Fetch Lip Stain starts off glossy, but with a lifespan of eight hours (according to the official description) the formula will eventually turn into a semi-matte stain.

Does Lip Stain Rub Off?

The goal of a quality lip stain is to eventually dry into a semi-permanent stain that’ll provide your lips with some color for a period of time. Milani’s version starts off glossy, which you can easily wipe off, but as it dries, it’ll leave behind a colored stain on your lips that’ll last all night.

I purchased this fan from Walmart during the start of the pandemic and it’s held up over the last four years (and counting). Though I don’t use it as often as I used to, it’s had a spot in my bedroom since 2020, and not just during the summer months. The Lasko Box Fan will carry you through any kind of heated situation, no matter the season. And if you’re a hot sleeper, it’s great for helping you keep cool at night.

The fan isn’t particularly loud, but not as quiet as the product description would have you believe. While it barely makes noise on its lowest setting, it’s certainly louder when cranked up to the highest setting.

Available in white, black, blue and purple, the 20-inch box fan comes equipped with an easy-carry handle and a removable front grill and blades for easy cleaning and overall maintenance. Plus, there’s no setup necessary: Simply pull it out of the box and plug it in.

The fan got a price cut just ahead of Walmart+ Week, a weeklong event where Walmart+ subscribers can enjoy exclusive savings from June 17-23.

Hear Ariana Grande Sing New Snippets of ‘Popular’ in ‘Wicked’ Teaser

On the night of the 2024 Tony Awards, one of Broadway’s most beloved musicals unveiled a brand-new movie teaser featuring Ariana Grande singing snippets of her Wicked character’s signature song “Popular.”

The cinematic 30-second spot for part 1 of the Wicked movie musical shows the film’s title being spelled out letter by letter, in between shots of the pop star’s Glinda floating in her magical pink bubble and Cynthia Erivo’s Elphaba putting on her iconic black witch’s hat and grabbing ahold of her broom. In addition to the Harriet star’s knockout “Defying Gravity” riff, listeners are also treated to new snippets of Grande’s vocals.

“Follow my lead,” she sings from “Popular” in the teaser. “La la, la la…”

Fans previously got to hear a taste of Grande singing the famous tune in the full-length Wicked trailer, which dropped last month. It followed a shorter trailer that aired for the first time during the 2024 Super Bowl.

The new teaser comes days after Grande spoke about the film in a Tonight Show interview with Jimmy Fallon, on which she also performed her latest Eternal Sunshine single “The Boy Is Mine.” “This is something Cynthia and I lived every single day,” she told the late-night host. “To share it with people and to feel the love that we’ve received has been really overwhelming. These were really practical sets that we were blessed to be apart of. What you’re seeing is where we got to be for two years.”

Hulu is another affordable option to stream Adult Swim content without cable, as it offers a library full of the Cartoon Network’s most popular programs. If you already have a Hulu subscription, you can watch Adult Swim content for no additional cost — just log in to your account to get access.

If you don’t have a Hulu subscription, new users can score a free 30-day trial to watch Adult Swim and more. When your free trial is over, you’ll be charged the regular subscription fee based on the plan you pick out.

There are a few options you can choose from: the ad-supported package, which is also the cheapest package at $7.99 a month or $79 a year. If you’d prefer no ads, the premium plan is $17.99 a month. Both packages give you access to the entire Hulu library, the ability to watch content on up to two devices at once, and the option to make up to six profiles. If you go ad-free, you’ll also be able to download content to watch offline.

In addition to watching Adult Swim shows, you can stream Hulu originals such as Clipped, Only Murders in the Building, The Handmaid’s Tale, Feud: Capote vs. The Swans and Claim to Fame.

To watch Adult Swim live on TV without cable, you can subscribe to Hulu + Live TV, which is offering a rare deal that gets you a three-day free trial for new users who sign up. Along with getting more than 95 live channels — including Adult Swim — you’ll also get access to the entire Hulu library plus a free subscription to Disney+ and ESPN+.
