Dave Grohl Fathers Baby ‘Outside of My Marriage,’ Working to ‘Regain Trust’ of Wife & Kids

On Tuesday (Sept. 10), Dave Grohl stunned fans with the announcement that he’s now the father of a new baby born outside of his marriage to Jordyn Blum.

In a succinct message posted on Instagram, the Foo Fighters frontman got straight to the point. “I’ve recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage,” Grohl wrote. “I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her.”

“I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness,” added the former Nirvana drummer, who shares 18-year-old Violet, 15-year-old Harper and 10-year-old Ophelia with Blum. “We’re grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together.”

Grohl’s team had no further comment.

The musician has been married to Blum since 2003. The couple has chosen to keep their relationship mostly private, but Grohl has been open in the past about how the director and their family keep him grounded through his hectic life.

“For the past 20 years when I’ve been touring, I’ve always craved stability,” he told The Guardian in 2007, back when his oldest daughter was just a baby. “I’ve never gotten off on chaos. Throughout the whole Nirvana experience I retreated to Virginia whenever I felt sucked into the tornado of insanity. Same thing with the Foo Fighters – I wouldn’t be able to do this if I didn’t have my feet planted firmly on the ground. So Jordyn and Violet are anchors that keep me from completely disappearing.”

Prior to his relationship with Blum, Grohl was wed to Jennifer Youngblood. He’s previously been open about how his infidelity in his first marriage led to their divorce in 1997.

Fox Sports and FS1 don’t have a designated streaming platform to livestream matches, but there are a few live TV streamers that’ll let you catch Sunday football games and more for little to no cost.

Below, ShopBillboard put together a few live TV streaming options with free trials and promos that’ll let you watch Fox Sports and FS1 without cable.

DirecTV Stream

You can score a five-day free trial through DirecTV Stream when you sign up for one of its four packages. Subscribing will let you watch Fox Sports and FS1 online through DirecTV Stream. Every streaming package includes Fox Sports and FS1 in addition to FS2, Fox Deportes and dozens of other channels. Bonus offer: you can save $30 off the first two months when you combine a streaming package with a “Sports Pack.” Right now, the Entertainment + Sports Pack is $80 (reg. $95) for the first two months.

Other perks you’ll be able to enjoy include unlimited DVR storage, local channels and the ability to stream on as many smart devices as you want.

Sling TV

Sling TV is another affordable option that’ll let you watch Fox Sports in 4K and FS1 online without cable. For a limited time, the streamer is offering 50% off the first month when you sign up for one of its three packages, which can cut the cost down to as low as $20 (reg. $40). Fubo TV

Fubo TV will give new users a seven day free trial and $30 off the first month (after the free trial is over) when you sign up for one of its streaming packages. Her new memoir, titled Over the Influence, is set to release on Sept. 17 and joins the expanding lineup of musician memoirs that includes Britney Spears and Barbra Streisand.

JoJo is providing fans with “unflinching vulnerability” in her upcoming memoir that will provide insight into what happened to the Aquamarine actress during the period she suddenly left the spotlight. You’ll hear straight from the artist, who was signed to a record label at just 12-years-old and catapulted to fame through her cool-girl relatability. Out of the spotlight, she was navigating growing up with parents with addiction and depression, in addition to a lawsuit with her record label.

What Time Does the Presidential Debate Start?

The Trump-Harris presidential debate starts at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT on Tuesday. The debate will air live on ABC and stream on Hulu, Disney+, ABC News Live and the ABC app. ABC will air Race for the White House, a pre-debate special, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT, and a post-debate special after the debate.

Presidential Debate Guidelines

The presidential debate will have a run time of 90 minutes with two commercial breaks, according to guidelines released by ABC last week. Candidates will have two minutes to respond to each question, two minutes for rebuttal and one minute for additional clarification, if needed. Microphones will be muted when the candidate isn’t answering a question.

Trump is slated to deliver his closing statements ahead of Harris. The 78-year-old candidate won a virtual coin toss giving him first pick at podium location and delivering closing remarks. Trump chose the left podium and Harris will be on right.

‘Knuckles’

Taking place between Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and Sonic the Hedgehog 3, the Knuckles TV series follows Knuckles (voiced by Idris Elba) showing deputy sheriff Wade Whipple (Adam Pally) how to be a fierce Echidna warrior.

The spinoff also stars Cary Elwes, Edi Patterson, Stockard Channing, Julian Barratt, Rory McCann, Scott Mescudi, Ellie Taylor, Tika Sumpter, Ben Schwartz, Colleen O’Shaughnessey, Christopher Lloyd and others.

Chappell Roan Planned to Protest Instead of Perform at White House Pride Event: ‘All I Wanted to Do Was Yell’

Chappell Roan caused a stir earlier this year when she rejected the White House’s invitation for her to perform at a Pride event in June. Now, the singer is saying that had she attended, she would have done much more than just perform.

For the latest cover of Rolling Stone, Roan told the publication that she originally intended to accept the White House’s invitation to the event — but she planned to protest the Biden administration’s involvement in Israel’s attacks on Gaza instead of performing one of her songs.

“I had picked out some poems from Palestinian women. I was trying to do it as tastefully as I could because all I wanted to do was yell,” she said. “I had to find something that’s tasteful and to the point and meaningful, and not make it about me and how I feel. I don’t know if I’ll ever get that close in direct sight of the president ever in my life. This is my shot.”

While Roan said that her publicist ultimately talked her out of her protest (saying, “You f–k with the president and the government, your security is not the same, and neither is your family’s”), she firmly stands by her decision not to attend the event. “I’m not going to go to the White House because I am not going to be a monkey for Pride,” she explained, before criticizing the administration’s walked-back statement about gender-affirming surgery for minors. “Thank God I didn’t go because they just made a huge statement about trans kids.”

When performing at Gov Ball, Roan took a moment during her show to tell her audience that she refused the White House’s invitation to perform, dedicating her song “My Kink Is Karma” to the administration. “We want liberty, freedom and justice for all,” she said. “When you do that, that’s when I’ll come.”

The “Good Luck, Babe!” singer also dispelled a rumor that her distaste for the Biden administration’s treatment of Palestinians and trans youth meant that she was a supporter of former president Donald Trump. “I saw a couple of TikToks where they were like, ‘So she’s pro Trump?’ It is not so black and white that you hate one and you like the other. No matter how you say it, people are still going to be pissed for f–king some reason,” she said.

The singer later told the publication that she was supporting Kamala Harris’ bid for the White House this November. “Right now, it’s more important than ever to use your vote, and I will do whatever it takes to protect people’s civil rights, especially the LGBTQ+ community,” she said. “My ethics and values will always align with that, and that hasn’t changed with a different nominee. I feel lucky to be alive during an incredibly historical time period when a woman of color is a presidential nominee.”
