Sophie Lloyd wants no part of the Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox drama. After the “Jennifer’s Body” actress hinted on Instagram that she and her punk rocker fiancé had split, and some fans were quick to try to connect the dots back to Lloyd, who plays guitar in MGK’s band. But in a prompt statement sent out by her management team, Lloyd shut the rumors right down.
“Sophie Lloyd is a professional, accomplished musician who has been needlessly dragged into the media based off of meritless accusations made by social media,” read the Wednesday (Feb. 15) statement, according to People. “Any suggestion that she has ever acted in an unprofessional manner or stepped out of her relationship are untrue.”

“It’s disrespectful to her as a female artist and poor journalism and social commentary to be reporting anything else,” it concluded.

The drama first began when Fox deleted all traces of MGK, born Colson Baker, from her Instagram account Sunday (Feb. 12). And keep in mind, there were a lot of photos of them together, given that the couple had been engaged since January of 2022.

She proceeded to unfollow the “Emo Girl” singer and follow his famous nemesis, Eminem, on the platform. And as if all that wasn’t enough to get her message across, Fox posted a video of a burning envelope with a caption quoting “Pray You Catch Me” from Beyoncé‘s Lemonade, an entire album more or less dedicated to the pain of being cheated on: “You can taste the dishonesty/ it’s all over your breath.”

Before deactivating her account altogether, fans commented on the post with speculation that Baker had cheated on the New Girl alum with Lloyd. “He probably got with Sophie,” commented one fan, to which Fox responded, “Maybe I got with Sophie” alongside a fire emoji.

The rumors of a breakup certainly felt sudden to fans who’ve kept up with MGK and Fox’s romance, considering the pair had just appeared together at the Grammys on Feb. 5. After the “My Ex’s Best Friend” singer, who was nominated for best rock album, walked away empty-handed that night, Fox posted a sweet message on Instagram praising him for handling the loss with “a grace and maturity that I haven’t seen from you before and I’m so proud of you.”

“Watching you walk in humility and gratitude, watching you grow into yourself and become a better man is an immeasurably more satisfying experience than watching you accept an award,” she continued. “Although those will come… and this is irrelevant I guess but I will just never ever get over how beautiful your face is.”

Let’s just say, Shakira definitely isn’t spending this Valentine’s Day listening to love songs. In the eight months since she and soccer star Gerard Piqué announced their breakup, the 46-year-old musician hasn’t been shy about publicly shading her ex — and in a Tuesday (Feb. 14) TikTok, she may have just done it again by singing along to SZA‘s “Kill Bill.”

In the TikTok, Shakira wears a black jumpsuit and matching platform heels while mopping the kitchen floor, singing along to the standout single from SZA’s No. 1 album SOS in which she fantasizes about murdering her ex and his new girlfriend: “I might kill my ex, not the best idea / His new girlfriend’s next, how’d I get here?”

The “Hips Don’t Lie” singer didn’t mention Piqué by name in the video or its blank caption, but fans in the comments are convinced they know exactly who the sing-along was directed at. “THE SHADE IS WHAT I’M HERE FOR,” commented one. “I feel you girl,” wrote another. “You’re hella strong. He lost huuuuge time I swear.”

And though it’s probably safe to say that Shakira has no actual plans of committing first-degree murder, she does have experience with an ex quickly moving on to someone new. In her new song with Bizarrap, “BZRP Music Session #53,” she calls out Piqué and slams his new girlfriend, Clara Chia Marti, with whom he went Instagram official last month.

“Good luck with my so-called replacement/ I don’t even know what happened,” she spits on the track, which debuted at No. 9 on the Billboard Hot 100. “You’re acting so weird, I don’t even recognize you/ I’m worth two 22-year-olds/ You traded in a Ferrari for a Twingo/ You traded in a Rolex for a Casio.”

Shakira and Piqué, who dated for 11 years and share sons Milan and Sasha, announced via a joint statement in June 2022 that they were calling it quits. “We regret to confirm that we are separating,” they said at the time. “We ask for privacy at this moment for the well-being of our children, who are our maximum priority. Thank you in advance for your understanding and respect.”

You might not want to start workshopping ship name combos for Selena Gomez and Drew Taggart (Drewlena? Gogart?) just yet. A couple days after rumors began to swirl that the Only Murders in the Building star was dating the Chainsmokers musician, Gomez took to her Instagram Stories to set the record straight.

“I LIKE BEING ALONE TOO MUCH,” she wrote Thursday (Jan. 19), according to Entertainment Tonight. “#iamsingle.” The 30-year-old “Rare” singer had written the message over a black and white hilltop nature landscape, though she reportedly deleted the post quickly after uploading it.

Before Gomez shut it down, speculation over her possible courtship with the “Closer” musician had started making rounds a few days prior, when the pair was spotted bowling together in New York City. Photos of the bowling alley hangout were published on Page Six, which reported that the two had been seen “making out” and interacting with fans.

The dating rumors were ill-timed, however, as they surged just days after Taggart and his Chainsmokers bandmate Alex Pall raised eyebrows with a revelation that they had joined in on threesomes together in the early days of their career. “They were never planned,” Pall recalled of those days on Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy podcast.

“It was also the days when we used to have to share hotel rooms,” he continued. “In Europe they have the two beds, they don’t even split them apart … so it’s almost by force that we were forced into these scenarios.”

Though she may not be dating anyone at the moment, it’s not like Gomez doesn’t have anything going on right now — she’s started working on season three of Only Murders and recently teased that her new album is in the works.

The Teigen-Legend clan is officially ready for the holidays. On Sunday (Dec. 18), Chrissy Teigen shared an adorable Christmas photo of her family of four — soon to be five! — on Instagram, featuring John Legend and their kids Luna and Miles.
In the photo, Legend, dressed as a Christmas tree, sits with six-year-old Luna in his lap. Four-year-old Miles sits at his dad’s feet, holding a Christmas cookie, meanwhile Teigen, decked out in full glam hair and makeup, red leggings, and a baby bump-revealing button-up holiday sweater, stands to their side.

The Cravings founder, who revealed in August that she was expecting Baby No. 3, also shared a photo of her two kids smiling with skates on, posing side by side on an ice rink. No words were needed to caption the festive photos, as Teigen simply left a trail of heart and Christmas tree emojis.

Based on a previous post, the photos were taken at a Christmas party hosted by Teigen in partnership with food brands POM Wonderful, Wonderful Seedless Lemons and Wonderful Pistachios. “Grandma’s night out!!” she wrote on Instagram. “But in bed by 10pm lol. So much good food and ugly sweaters last night.”

The party comes a few days after the famous family visited Santa and Mrs. Claus, a night captured in photos also posted to the model’s Instagram. With Teigen dressed in a Grinch-green pantsuit and Legend in a bright red ensemble, the two had stopped by the “North Pole” to promote Teigen’s Cravings baking mixes at Westfield Century City shopping center in Los Angeles.

The holiday fun doesn’t stop there, though; about a week ago, Teigen shared snaps of her and the kids making festive chocolate bark for Luna and Miles’ teachers. And a couple days before that, she and the “All of Me” singer stepped out to see a performance of The Nutcracker — before stepping right back in after Legend apparently threw up in the car on their way to the show.

Kate Hudson has learned a lot about herself thanks to her relationships with others. That especially goes for her difficult breakup from Muse frontman Matt Bellamy, which the Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery actress opened up about in a recent appearance on Josh Smith’s Reign podcast.

Things got deep when Smith asked Hudson about the ways she is similar to an onion, a funny reference to the title of her newest film, which arrives on Netflix Dec. 23 following a one-week theatrical release in November. “I’m still peeling back those layers,” she laughed.

“I think we all are,” continued the actress, who landed a spot on Billboard‘s Digital Song Sales chart in September 2012 when her feature on the Glee cast’s song “Americano/Dance Again” peaked at No. 61. “We all have to figure out what’s at the core of our own little onion. I think that’s when things started changing for me — when I started taking far more accountability for my own s–t.”

When Smith pressed the Almost Famous star for a life moment that prompted her to start taking accountability — something she said is “liberating” — Hudson brought up her split from Bellamy, with whom she shares 11-year-old son Bing.

“After my second failed baby-daddy relationship,” she said. “That moment for me was like, ‘Now I have to figure this out.’”

Hudson welcomed her first child, now 18-year-old son Ryder, in 2004 with The Black Crowes’ Chris Robinson, to whom she was married from 2000 to 2007. She was engaged to Bellamy from 2011 to 2014.

“That was really hard for me because I didn’t want that to end,” she said of her relationship with the Muse singer. “I need to figure out what this is in my life, this pattern I keep repeating, and take accountability for it. I think the issue is when people blame everybody else for any challenges or hardships. I don’t want to be friends with that person.”

The Bride Wars star is now engaged to Danny Fujikawa, and the two share 4-year-old daughter Rani.

Britney Spears‘ husband, actor and model Sam Asghari, is reminding fans that there should be boundaries on social media.
In a recent message posted to his Instagram Story, Asghari asked his wife’s fans to ease up on their scrutiny of Spears’ own Instagram activity. “Social media can be traumatizing,” he wrote. “Sometimes it’s good to take a break. She has her voice and is a free woman.”

On Dec. 2, the “Toxic” singer confused many by posting praise of her younger sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, with whom Britney has been very publicly feuding since her conservatorship legal battle. Then, on Tuesday (Dec. 6), she deactivated her account before reactivating two days later, according to ET.

Asghari himself hasn’t been posting much of Spears on his account in recent months, something he also addressed in his story. “I have respect for her privacy and I protect it at all times,” he wrote. “Out of respect for her privacy, I don’t post her 247. I ask for permission if I ever do.”

“For my job I have to attend many events. It would be my honor if she joins. For her, those things are not fun. They’re [hectic] and full of stress,” he wrote. “Specially since she’s been doing these things since 8 years old. Plus she already slayed every single one she has been to.”

Spears and Asghari tied the knot in June this year after dating for five years, first meeting on the set of the 41-year-old pop star’s “Slumber Party” music video in 2016. Their marriage came about seven months after Brit’s conservatorship was legally terminated in November 2021 after a harrowing legal battle, after which the “Hold Me Closer” singer started posting from time to time about her newfound independence on social media.

Spears also recently posted about her two sons Jayden and Preston, writing that she “would give anything just to touch your face.” This follows a public back and forth between Spears, her kids and their father Kevin Federline regarding the singer’s separation from the boys.

Asghari, however, didn’t mention specific posts of Brit’s in his post, instead giving a general plea for privacy on her behalf. “I’ve always respected and supported her privacy with everything I’ve had,” he wrote. “I ask of you supportive and protective fans to do the same. Sometimes being over protective can cause more stress and damage.”
