The Best 2025 Halloween Costumes From Megan Thee Stallion, Chloe Bailey, Kane Brown, Victoria Justice & More (Updating)

Here’s a roundup of the best 2025 celebrity Halloween costumes.

Trending on Billboard

With Halloween falling on a Friday this year, it looks like we’re getting two full weekends of Halloween celebration.

Things kicked off last week, with Victoria Justice hosting her “Love Zombie” Halloween & Single Release Party in Los Angeles and embodying her new song by dressing up as the titular undead character. Bette Midler‘s New York Restoration Project Hulaween Gala hit New York City over the weekend, and Midler hit the red carpet dressed as her own Divine Miss M persona next to Andy Cohen as Andy Warhol. Other celebs at Midler’s party: Ben Platt and husband Noah Galvin as Hugh Hefner and a Playboy Playmate, Darren Criss and wife Mia Criss as New York clowns, and Michael Kors and husband Lance LePere as taxi drivers.

But some stars didn’t need a party to get dolled up. Paris Hilton took to Instagram to show off her “Oops… I Did It Again!”-era Britney Spears costume, complete with red latex bodysuit. “Oops, I did it again … Starting off #Halloweek by honoring my Queen @BritneySpears,” Hilton captured the series of photos and videos paying homage to the 2000 music video. Hilton kept the Hallow-fun going by sharing her family’s Toy Story-inspired costumes with People, with the heiress dressed as Bo Peep.

Janelle Monáe is no stranger to Halloween, and this year, she transformed into Beetlejuice (don’t say that name three times!) from the 1988 Tim Burton-directed classic. The elaborate get-up comes amid Monáe’s Wondaween Halloween festival, and she promises Beetlejuice is only “costume #1” for her week of Halloween activities.

And that’s just scratching the surface. We have Megan Thee Stallion dressed as Cupid to promote her latest single “Lover Girl” before #Hottieween; Kane Brown as Papa Smurf and his wife Katelyn as Austin Powers; Keke Palmer as Jessica Alba’s aspiring choreographer character from 2003’s Honey; and Chloë Bailey channeling her mentor Beyoncé dressed as Foxy Cleopatra in 2002’s Austin Powers in Goldmember.

Ariana Grande & Liz Gillies Make All Their ‘Showgirls’ Dreams Come True With Joint Halloween Costumes

Ariana Grande and Elizabeth Gillies have been besties since co-starring on Victorious together more than a decade ago — but their new joint Halloween costumes are a long way from Nickelodeon.

The pair shared a dozen photos of their detailed costumes to Instagram on Monday night (Oct. 30), with Grande dressed up as Nomi Malone, Elizabeth Berkley’s rookie stripper in the 1995 Paul Verhoeven-directed erotic thriller, and Gillies dressed up as Cristal Connors, Gina Gershon’s jaded showgirl desperate to cling to her position as the top dancer.

“You and me…we’re exactly alike,” Gillies captioned one photo of the pair side-by-side, wearing coordinated black ensembles that look like they’re borrowed directly from the movie set. In a joint post, Gillies quotes another of Gershon’s famous lines from the film: “You are a whore, Darlin’!” And in a final quotable caption: “There’s always someone younger and hungrier coming down the stairs after you.”

In Grande’s final post, she gives one of Berkley’s famous lines some shine: When asked where she’s from on the East Coast, Nomi angrily responds, “different places !!!!!” (You can almost see Elizabeth Berkley throwing her basket of french fries in frustration when you hear those two simple words.)

Last year, Grande and Gillies put together equally elaborate Halloween costumes, re-creating a series of scenes from the Christopher Guest mockumentary Best in Show. Gillies portrays Jane Lynch’s character Christy Cummings while Grande takes on her partner, Jennifer Coolidge’s Sherri Ann Cabot. Later on in the scenes, Grande transforms into Eugene Levy’s Gerry Fleck — eyebrows and all — while Gillies plays Catherine O’Hara’s curly-haired Cookie Fleck.

A Lana Del Rey Fan Dressed Up as the Singer Working at Waffle House for Halloween — Then Ran Into Lana Herself

Lana Del Rey saw double this past Halloweekend, as she ran into a fan dressed like her.

Makeup artist Sandy Ganzer dressed up as the pop star working a shift at Waffle House — as she memorably did in Alabama over the summer, which went viral on social media — in an equal-parts hilarious and serendipitous moment at a Halloween party.

Ganzer spilled the details of her meeting the “Summertime Sadness” singer via Instagram on Monday (Oct. 30).

“Waffle House employee shirt purchased on Ebay: $28.60. Pepsi bottle and fun little straw purchased last minute at CVS: $9. Waffle House ‘Lana’ name tag sticker: $5.59. Attending a halloween party dressed as ‘Lana Del Rey kicking it at Waffle House’ and she’s there in real life: Priceless,” Ganzer captioned the post, which featured her and the six-time Grammy nominee posing together, plus her solo in the costume. “Thank you for having a sense of humor about it @honeymoon, you’re a Queen. *first two photos taken by the Queen herself.”

While Ganzer didn’t share how she ran into Del Rey, she is a celebrity makeup artist who has created looks for Hunter Schafer, Phoebe Bridgers, Kesha, Paris Hilton, Kendall Jenner and more.

Del Rey explained how she ended up working at an Alabama Waffle House in her September feature in The Hollywood Reporter. “We were on our third hour, and the servers asked, ‘Do you guys want shirts?’ ” she recalled. “Hell yeah! We were thrilled.” She even remembered a notable customer: “This guy, a regular, comes in every day and orders two things, so they were like, ‘Just go get it for him!’ I brought him a Coke. No ice. And an empty cup.”

The response to Del Rey’s Waffle House photos caught her off guard, she revealed. “I wish my album had gone as viral. I woke up to, like, 10,000 texts the next morning — some from folks I had not heard from for 10 years,” Del Rey said. “’Saw your picture at the Waffle House!’ I was like, ‘Did you hear the new album?’”

Halloween 2023: See What Musicians Are Dressing Up As

This is Halloween, this is Halloween — and today’s biggest music stars stepped up their costume game this year.

The most high-profile parties over the weekend were Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber’s Halloween party on Friday (Oct. 27) and Vas Morgan and Michael Braun’s bash on Saturday (Oct. 28).

Stars like Paris Hilton got inspiration from fellow superstars, as the heiress opted to dress as Britney Spears and Katy Perry. Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox, meanwhile, drew inspiration from a classic Quentin Tarantino film. MGK donned a blood-drenched yellow jumpsuit similar to the one worn by Uma Thurman’s Bride character and Fox rocked a costume based on the schoolgirl assassin Gogo Yubari, portrayed by actress Chiaki Kuriyama.

Justin Bieber and Hailey Bieber nailed the couple’s costumes as well, rolling up to Vas Morgan and Michael Braun’s party as Bamm-Bamm and Pebbles from The Flintstones. Demi Lovato, meanwhile, revisited her Disney days by dressing as a classic Snow White.

Travis Barker & Kourtney Kardashian Look Positively Spooky in Beetlejuice & Lydia Halloween Costumes

With Halloween just around the corner, celebrities are flocking to social media to share the spooky activities and flashy costumes they donned over the weekend in the lead-up to the holiday. Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian took to Instagram on Monday (Oct. 30) to share photos of themselves dressed as Beetlejuice and Lydia Deetz from the 1988 classic Beetlejuice.

The couple shared their costume in a joint post to their Instagram accounts, with photos of Barker decked out in pale-white face makeup, a dark purple suit and the crazy hair of the movie’s namesake character played by Michael Keaton, while Kardashian wore the signature red wedding dress worn by Lydia, played by Winona Ryder.

“I’m the ghost with the most, babe,” the photos were captioned, referring to the movie’s scene in which Lydia and Beetlejuice meet for the very first time.

The Blink-182 drummer and Poosh founder’s costume post comes just days after he shut down fans of The Kardashians who speculated that he was the source of the feud between his wife and her sister, Kim Kardashian. Some viewers of the show exhumed excerpts from Barker’s 2016 memoir — in which he described Kim as “f—ing hot” — and an Us Weekly interview where he reflected on a 2006 trip to Amsterdam he took with his girlfriend at the time, Paris Hilton, to point to a potential love triangle between himself, Kourtney and Kim. “Kim was eye candy … I was in no way disrespectful to Paris, but I couldn’t keep my eyes off Kim,” he told Us in 2015.

Referring to the rumors in a Sunday interview with the Los Angeles Times, Barker said, “It’s like, ‘Kourtney’s fans are worried about Travis. He’s a womanizer,’” he said. “I obviously shared all that stuff because I wanted to move past it. It was therapeutic for me. That’s her sister. She knows we used to talk. Nothing bad was going on.” He continued that they were ultimately making something out of nothing, adding, “You give people a little information and they think they’ve solved the mystery of ‘this is why they’re fighting.’ It’s just so ridiculous.”

Best 2023 Halloween Costumes From Kelsea Ballerini, Chloe Bailey & More (Updating)

Spooky Season has arrived — and so have this year’s celebrity Halloween costumes.

Kelsea Ballerini kicked things off Wednesday night (Oct. 25) with her Original Donut Shop Coffee costume party in New York City, where she dressed up in one of the most popular costumes for 2023: Barbie.

And she wasn’t just any Barbie. She specifically channeled Margot Robbie’s western-wear Barbie from the Greta Gerwig-directed film, wearing a white cowgirl hat with a two-piece, hot-pink bell-bottom set and matching neckerchief — a perfect fit for the country star. (You can find the look for less in our roundup of the best pop-culture Halloween costumes for 2023.)

“HI BARBIE, HAPPY (early) HALLOWEEN,” Ballerini captioned a series of photos in the fuchsia look.

Another early adopter this Halloween is Chloe Bailey, who shared her racy take on Daenerys Targaryen from Game of Thrones, wearing a long blond wig with a bodysuit made of metal to complete the medieval costume. She’s surrounded by dragon eggs, skulls, candles and an hourglass in the pics and is also sitting atop a throne — though it’s not quite the sword-covered Iron Throne that Dany eventually sits upon.

“I am Khaleesi, the Mother of Dragons #gameofthrones,” Bailey captioned her photo set, alongside a dragon emoji.

But Halloween 2023 is just getting started. Below, find the best costumes from musicians and celebrities, including some perfect musician-themed ideas, like Sarah Hyland and Wells Adams’ timely “ketchup and seemingly ranch” getups. See all the photos below, updating through Halloween (Oct. 31).
