You can add Kodak Black’s name to the list of rappers trying to clear their name. He has pleaded not guilty to a recent arrest where cops say he had cocaine on him.
HipHopDX is reporting that the Pompano Beach, Florida, native has another legal fight on his hands. On Monday, December 11 he formally submitted a not guilty plea to charges of third-degree cocaine possession, tampering with physical evidence and improper stop/stand/park. On Thursday, December 7 the “ZEZE” rapper was approached by local police and allege that his Bentley SUV smelled of alcohol. Upon further inspection the badges found “cannabis wrapping paper and suspect cannabis residue” in the car and suspect the man known Bill Kapri was trying to discard narcotics as his mouth was “full of white powder.”
The arrest report would go on to provide further details on what occurred when the MC was detained. “I placed Kapri in handcuffs and observed white, rock-like substances on the ground,” the police document read. “Kapri uttered that it was “Percocet”. Naturally the news of the “Super Gremlin” talent allegedly getting caught with drugs quickly went viral. According to XXL Magazine Kodak Black addressed the accusations on Instagram Live.
“If that s**t ain’t me, don’t put that on me,” Kodak told his followers. “Don’t convict me of some s**t that ain’t me” he said. “Them people went cocaine on me. That’s the only s**t that I’m flaming about…I done told y’all, I did meth before. I ain’t into that s**t. I ain’t riding around with no cocaine. These people don’t have no body-cam, none of that. It’s 2023, fam.”

White House officials have confirmed that a powdery substance found near the guest entrance of the West Wing was indeed cocaine. An investigation is currently underway to discover how the narcotic made its way into the White House.
The Washington Post was one of several large outlets covering the discovery of the substance at the White House. The substance was found this past Sunday (July 2) on the ground floor near an area where visitors are instructed to leave their cell phones according to sources speaking with the outlet.
The Secret Service is leading the investigation of the found drugs, which the outlet adds sparked officials to evacuate the building. After initial testing pointed to the substance being cocaine, a final test confirmed the findings.
President Joe Biden was away for the weekend at Camp David and did not return to the White House until Tuesday (July 4). President Biden has not made a public statement regarding the discovery.
Tours of the White House take place on evenings and weekends. As a security measure, guests are told to leave their devices in a series of small boxes prior to entering the West Wing. The cocaine was found near these small storage boxes which essentially points that the substance indeed came from a visitor and not a staff member. However, that fact has yet to be established by Secret Service officials.
Given the political tensions across the nation, some pundits have used the discovery of the drugs to connect the cocaine to President Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, despite little evidence provided in the case.

At this point no rapper is better equipped to talk white than Pusha T. He has updated a Melle Mel classic for the Cocaine Bear soundtrack.
As spotted on Hype Beast the Clipse member is back to doing what his fans love most. In support of the movie’s launch he has released “White Lines (Cocaine Bear Remix)”. In it he makes several clever references to the powdery substance that tie things back to Rap music but also films. “The dope boys go crazy, they know I get it out the jungle / I ain’t never been a runner, we ain’t never had to wonder / You heard the pilot lost the load, call that dumb and dumber”.
Cocaine Bear is a 2023 American comedy horror film directed and produced by Elizabeth Banks and written by Jimmy Warden. It is loosely inspired by the true story of the “Cocaine Bear”, an American black bear that ingested millions of dollars of lost cocaine in 1985. The film features an ensemble cast that includes Keri Russell, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Christian Convery, Alden Ehrenreich, Brooklynn Prince, Isiah Whitlock Jr., Margo Martindale, and Ray Liotta. The film marked the posthumous release for Liotta who died on May 26, 2022, with the film being dedicated to his memory.
