On the outside looking into the top 10 is rising soul-pop singer Myles Smith with “Stargazing” (RCA). It’s on the rise, and is forecast to improve 14-11, for a new high.
A hatful of U.S. country stars have recently enjoyed chart success in the U.K., a period that’s been described as a renaissance for the genre in these parts. Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song,” Post Malone and Morgan Wallen’s “I Had Some Help” (No. 5 midweek via Republic Records), “Dasha’s “Austin” (No. 9 midweek via Warner Records) and, of course, Beyonce’s chart-topping, country-flavored Cowboy Carter LP (Columbia/Parkwood Ent), have all rounded up top 10 spots on the U.K. charts. Zach Bryan wants in on the action. The U.S. country singer’s “Pink Skies” (Warner Records) flies in for a No. 31 start on the chart blast. It’s set to become his second U.K. Top 40 entry following his 2023 duet with Kacey Musgraves, “I Remember Everything,” which peaked at No. 14.
Finally, Teddy Swims is eyeing a top 40 with “The Door,” the followup to “Lose Control,” his breakthrough blues number. “The Door” is up 45-33 on the chart blast, and could give the U.S. singer and songwriter his second U.K. top 40 appearance. “Lose Control” peaked at No. 2 earlier this year.

Twenty One Pilots could land their very first No. 1 on the U.K. albums chart, with Clancy.
The Columbus, OH duo of Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun lead the midweek chart with Clancy (via Atlantic/Fueled By Ramen), their seventh studio album. The recording will become the group’s fourth U.K. top 10, following 2015 release Blurryface (No. 5 peak), 2018’s Trench (No. 2) and 2021’s Scaled and Icy (No. 3) — and perhaps their first leader.
Joseph and Dun will support the 13-track LP with a major tour, spanning 59 dates that kick off Aug. 15 in the United States, before heading overseas for legs in Europe and Australia.

Paul Weller, however, could spoil the Pilots’ party with 66 (Polydor). The British songsmith’s 17th studio effort is close behind at No. 2 on the Official Chart Update, and is set to become set to become his 23rd solo U.K. top 10 album, the Official Charts Company reports. The ex-The Jam and The Style Council frontman has scored six solo U.K. No. 1 albums: 1995’s Stanley Road, 2002 record Illumination, 2008’s 22 Dreams, 2012’s Sonik Kicks, 2020’s On Sunset and, most recently, 2021’s Fat Pop.

Taylor Swift’s blockbuster The Tortured Poets Department (EMI) is expected to close out the U.K. top 3, dropping 1-3.
Sheffield, England rock act Bring Me The Horizon is forecast to bag a fifth U.K. top 10 with Post Human: NeX Gen (RCA), new at No. 5 on the chart blast, while U.S. alt-rock Wallows (Dylan Minnette, Braeden Lemasters and Cole Preston) could enjoy a career-best with Model (Atlantic), their third studio record. It’s new at No. 10 on the chart update.
Meanwhile, new releases from Manchester, England-rapper Meekz (TRU at No. 12 via Meekz Music & Lifestyle); BTS star RM (Right Place, Wrong Person at No. 17 via Polydor), British breakout artist Niko B (dog eat dog food world at No. 20 via Believe Recordings), and American rock veteran Lenny Kravitz (Blue Electric Light at No. 27 via BMG) are eyeing top 40 berths.

Shoreline Mafia, the Los Angeles-based hip-hop act comprising OhGeesy and Fenix Flexin, banks its first career Billboard chart hit with “Heat Stick.”
Billed as by Shoreline Mafia Presents OhGeesy & Fenix Flexin, the song debuts at No. 98 on the Billboard Hot 100 dated June 1 almost entirely from its streaming sum: 6.5 million official U.S. streams May 17-23 (up 31%), according to Luminate. The track, released May 10 on Atlantic Records, also debuts at No. 25 on Hot Rap Songs and jumps 42-29 in its second week on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs.

Shoreline Mafia originally formed as a quartet in 2016, comprising OhGeesy, Fenix Flexin, Master Kato and Rob Vicious. The group split after releasing its debut studio album, Mafia Bidness, in 2020 as all four artists pursued solo careers. Earlier this month, OhGeesy and Fenix Flexin reunited with “Heat Stick” under the Shoreline Mafia name—it marks the first release for the act, now a duo, in four years.

Shoreline Mafia reached Billboard’s charts twice before “Heat Stick.” Its EP Party Pack, Vol. 2 hit No. 32 on Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and No. 61 on the Billboard 200 in September 2019 and Mafia Bidness reached No. 19 on Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and No. 27 on the Billboard 200 in August 2020.
After the group went on hiatus, OhGeesy’s debut solo LP Geezyworld (released in 2021 via Atlantic) topped the Heatseekers Albums chart and reached No. 102 on the Billboard 200. Its follow-up Geezyworld 2 peaked at No. 2 on Heatseekers Albums in 2023. The set’s breakout single “Geekaleek,” featuring Cash Kidd/BIA (which samples Petey Pablo’s 2004 Hot 100 top 10 “Freek-a-Leek”), hit No. 25 on Rap Airplay and No. 44 on R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay in December 2023.
OhGeesy has released one other solo project: Tropies, with Berner, in December.
As for Fenix Flexin, the rapper released four solo projects while Shoreline Mafia was inactive: Fenix Flexin Vol. 1 (2021), Fenix Flexin Vol. 2 (2022), Fenix Flexin Vol. 3 (2023) and Back Flexin (May 24). The opening track on the new album is another collab with OhGeesy, “Pick N Roll.”
Shoreline Mafia signed to Atlantic in 2018. OhGeesy told Billboard at the time, “Besides growing up and always wanting to be apart of a major label, when it finally came time to it, I knew Atlantic was the best move because of the facts behind it. It’s simple. Look at their roster. Everybody is winning and they know how to market music in a way that I feel is better than any other label.”
Koe Wetzel is officially a Billboard Hot 100-charting hitmaker, as his new single “Sweet Dreams” debuts on the chart dated June 1 at No. 47.
Released May 17 on YellaBush/Columbia Records, the song debuts with 10.9 million official streams and 3,000 downloads sold in the U.S. in the week ending May 23, according to Luminate. It also starts at No. 11 on the Hot Country Songs chart, becoming Wetzel’s seventh entry and first top 20 hit.

Wetzel has also logged eight entries on the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart, including “Damn Near Normal,” which climbs 22-21 on the latest list (after debuting at its No. 12 high in March).
Wetzel first appeared on Billboard’s charts in July 2019, when he opened at No. 9 on Emerging Artists. The arrival was fueled by his LP Harold Saul High, which debuted and peaked at No. 10 on Top Country Albums and No. 65 on the Billboard 200 that week. He has since charted two additional albums on the Billboard 200: Sellout (his major-label debut on Columbia Records; No. 88 peak in 2020) and Hell Paso (No. 12 in 2022). The latter also reached No. 2 on Top Rock & Alternative Albums and No. 3 on Top Country Albums.
Wetzel (full name: Ropyr Koe Wetzel; Koe is an homage to country singer-songwriter David Allan Coe) hails from Pittsburg, Texas. “Sweet Dreams” is slated to appear on his forthcoming LP 9 Lives, due July 19. He’s currently on the road on his Damn Near Normal World Tour, which runs through November.
Billie Eilish crowns Billboard’s Top Rock & Alternative Albums and Top Rock & Alternative Songs charts dated June 1 with her new album, Hit Me Hard and Soft, and its lead single “Lunch.”
Hit Me Hard and Soft becomes Eilish’s first No. 1 on Top Rock & Alternative Albums, reigning as her first LP since the chart shifted in 2022 to include alternative-leaning titles outside the rock genre.
The set is also Eilish’s fourth leader on Top Alternative Albums, following Happier Than Ever (2021), When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? (2019) and Dont Smile at Me (2019, after it first appeared on the list in 2017).

In the week ending May 23, Hit Me Hard and Soft, released May 17, earned 339,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. – Eilish’s best career week by that metric – according to Luminate. The sum includes 191,000 album sales and 146,000 streaming-equivalent units.
The 10-song collection is the first release to reach six digits in units on Top Rock & Alternative Albums since Dolly Parton’s Rockstar (128,000; Dec. 2, 2023) and the first on Top Alternative Albums since blink-182’s One More Time… (125,000; Nov. 4, 2023).
The 339,000-unit total is the highest for a title on Top Rock & Alternative Albums in a decade, since the 383,000 units amassed by Coldplay’s Ghost Stories (June 7, 2014; it’s the top count since Top Rock & Alternative Albums shifted to a consumption-based methodology in 2016).
On Top Alternative Albums, Hit Me Hard and Soft has the biggest week since the all-time leader: Taylor Swift’s Folklore (846,000; Aug. 8, 2020), with Eilish’s new LP the second-biggest in a single week since the 2016 shift to a consumption-based formula.
Concurrently, Hit Me Hard and Soft debuts at No. 2 on the all-genre Billboard 200 and crowns the Vinyl Albums chart, with 90,000 vinyl copies sold, as previously reported.
“Lunch,” the album’s lead single, bows at No. 1 on the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs and Hot Alternative Songs surveys. “Lunch” is Eilish’s fourth No. 1 on the former, which became inclusive of alternative-leaning songs not categorized within the rock genre in 2020, following commands for “What Was I Made For?” in 2023, “Happier Than Ever” in 2021 and “My Future” in 2020. Of those, “Happier Than Ever” also debuted at No. 1.
On Hot Alternative Songs, which began in 2020, “Lunch” is also Eilish’s fourth leader, likewise following “What Was I Made For?,” “Happier Than Ever” and “My Future.”
“Lunch” starts with 32.8 million official U.S. streams, 20.2 million radio audience impressions and 3,000 downloads sold May 17-23.
The entirety of Hit Me Hard and Soft’s 10-song tracklist reaches Hot Rock & Alternative Songs, with eight titles debuting in the top 10 and all 10 in the top 12. Only Zach Bryan, with nine of the top 10 on the Sept. 9, 2023, tally, has claimed more in the top 10 in a single frame.
The LP’s top-charting song after “Lunch” is “Chihiro,” which bows at No. 3 with 27.2 million streams and 1,000 sold.
“Lunch” concurrently debuts at No. 17 on Pop Airplay, No. 21 on Alternative Airplay and No. 24 on Adult Pop Airplay, as well as No. 26 on the all-format Radio Songs list.
The track also arrives at No. 1 on Alternative Streaming Songs, marking Eilish’s eighth leader since the ranking began in 2020. On the all-genre Streaming Songs chart, it starts at No. 5.
All Billboard charts dated June 1 will update on Billboard.com on Wednesday, May 29, a day later than usual due to the May 26 Memorial Day holiday in the U.S.
Billie Eilish has a huge week on Billboard’s charts, thanks to her new studio album, Hit Me Hard and Soft.
Along with debuting at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 (dated June 1) with the biggest weekly equivalent album units sum – 339,000 earned in the U.S. May 17-23, according to Luminate – of Eilish’s career, all 10 songs from the album debut in the top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100.

Blessd and Feid combine forces atop Billboard’s Latin Airplay chart, as the singer-songwriters’ first collaboration climbs from No. 7 to lead the list dated June 1. The new champ is the second team-up by two Colombian artists to rule the overall Latin radio tally in less than a year, after Shakira and Manuel Turizo united at No. 1 through “Copa Vacía” (one week in charge) in Oct. 2023.

As “Si Sabe Ferxxo” rises to No. 1, it unseats another Warner Latina song from the summit: Myke Towers’ “La Capi” dips 1-5 with a 25% decrease in audience impressions, to 7.71 million.
Elsewhere, thanks to its radio haul, “Si Sabe” rises 36-31 with the Greatest Gainer/Airplay honors of the week on the multi-metric Hot Latin Songs chart, which combines airplay, digital sales and streaming data.

Bad Bunny is no stranger to the top of Boxscore charts. In 2022, he led four monthly rankings and then crowned the year-end list of the highest grossing tours worldwide. Naturally, he also topped that year’s Top Latin Tours tally, before Karol G took over in 2023, staging her own sold-out North American stadium tour. Now, as Billboard recaps the biggest tours of April 2024, Bad Bunny and Karol G team up at Nos. 1 and 2 on Top Tours and Top Boxscores.
According to figures reported to Billboard Boxscore, Bad Bunny grossed $63 million and sold 210,000 tickets in April, logging his second consecutive month at No. 1. The Most Wanted tour’s three-night run at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center contributed $17.8 million of that total, taking the lead on Top Boxscores. Five of his 14 shows in April marked all-time venue highs, among the 16 venue records he’s set since beginning the tour in February.
Including 14 shows in May, the Most Wanted Tour has grossed $207.8 million and sold 703,000 tickets since kicking off in Salt Lake City. Bad Bunny has three more shows to go at San Juan’s Coliseo de Puerto Rico on June 7-9.
Just beneath, Karol G’s Mañana Será Bonito Tour banked $45.1 million and sold 419,000 tickets from nine shows. It’s No. 2 on the gross-based Top Tours chart, but is the best-selling tour of the month, as the only trek to move more than 300,000 and 400,000 tickets. It’s April highlight was three shows at Estadio Nacional in Santiago, Chile, which is No. 2 on Top Boxscores with a gross of $15 million from 168,000 tickets sold.
It’s the first time that two Latin artists top both charts in succession. On Bad Bunny’s five previous No. 1s, stadium rock and country supported at No. 2, via Elton John, Def Leppard & Motley Crue, and Zach Bryan. When Los Bukis and RBD were on top, Dead & Company and Coldplay were runners-up, respectively.
Both artists have been major contributors to Latin’s growing prominence on the Boxscore charts in the post-pandemic era. Bad Bunny was the first artist to finish at No. 1 on the year-end Top Tours ranking who primarily performs in any language other than English, after BTS wound up at No. 3 in 2019. Karol G’s nine-figure gross in 2023 assured that Bad Bunny’s success was not a one-off or a fluke.
Before COVID-19 turned venues dark in 2020, no Latin artist had a tour that grossed more than $200 million. Now, there have been five, two of which are Bad Bunny and Karol G’s ongoing highlights atop the April recap. In addition to Most Wanted Tour’s $207.8 million, the Mañana Será Bonito Tour has earned $263.8 million and sold 1.8 million tickets since launching last August.
To add to the current noise, the Luis Miguel Tour 2023-24 (No. 6) is up to $258.5 million, current through May 19. Plus, RBD concluded its reunion tour in December, with a final gross of $227.1 million.
The other $200-million Latin tour is Bad Bunny’s own World’s Hottest Tour, which grossed $314.1 million in 2022. Both current tours by Bad Bunny and Karol G are ongoing, but it’s unlikely that either will break the all-time high mark among Latin artists set by World’s Hottest Tour. While the former has just three shows remaining, the latter will play 18 dates in Europe in June and July.
Karol G has averaged $6 million and 41,800 tickets per show across North and South America. That pace would guarantee her the Latin touring record, but her shows in Europe will be mostly in arenas, which cuts the potential per-show attendance in half, at least. To boot, ticket prices are lower in Europe than the U.S., across genres.
Europe is an uncommon territory for Latin artists to sell out arenas and stadiums, but the final leg of the Mañana Será Bonito Tour, especially its final four shows at Madrid’s Estadio Santiago Bernabeau, will likely push its overall haul very close to, or over the $300 million mark.
In addition to Latin’s dominance, country artists take another three of the top 10 spots on Top Tours. Luke Combs is No. 3 with $35.7 million, Kenny Chesney is No. 7 with $18 million, and last month’s runner-up, Zach Bryan, is No. 10 with $12.3 million. Beyond the top 10, Kane Brown and Tyler Childers follow at Nos. 11-12, with $11.5 million and $11.4 million, respectively.
Madonna (No. 4) and Nicki Minaj (No. 5) solidify a woman-dominated top five, while pacing the month’s tours among pop and rap artists, respectively. The former is No. 3 on Top Boxscores, with a five-night engagement at Mexico City’s Palacio de los Deportes. Rounding out the proper routing of her Celebration Tour, those shows grossed $14.8 million and sold 82,400 tickets on April 20-21, 23-24 and 26.
While New York is often represented atop the Top Venues (15,001+ capacity) chart via Manhattan’s Madison Square Garden, Brooklyn’s Barclays Center takes the No. 1 spot for the first time in April, with $26.7 million and 99,200 tickets sold across seven shows. That’s an all-time high monthly rank and gross for the arena, having previously inched past the $20 million mark last July, when it sat at No. 2 behind MSG.
Kate Hudson has already achieved numerous accolades in her career, including an Academy Award nomination for her role as Penny Lane in Almost Famous, but now she has something else to add to her résumé: Billboard-charting artist on her own.

The 12-track set starts with 8,000 equivalent album units earned in the U.S. in its opening week (May 17-23), according to Luminate. Of that sum, 7,000 were in album sales, with 2,000 in vinyl. Its first week totals were aided by its availability across five vinyl variants (including exclusive iterations for Amazon, Barnes & Noble and Target, as well as a signed edition in the artist’s webstore) and a promotional partnership with TalkShopLive.
The album also helps Hudson debut at No. 5 on the Emerging Artists chart.

Hudson teamed with Grammy Award-winner and Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee Linda Perry for much of the album, along with Johan Carlsson and Danny Fujikawa. The latter is Hudson’s fiancé and singer-guitarist in the band Chief. Carlsson was a member of the band Carolina Liar and has written and produced songs for Flo Rida, Ariana Grande, One Direction and Katy Perry, among others.
In a recent interview with Billboard, Hudson said that most of the set’s songs were written over a two-week period. “At one point, we wrote three songs in a day and Linda’s like, ‘I think we need to stop. I think we have two albums.’ We could have written forever.”
Hudson, who is managed by Sandbox Entertainment, signed with Virgin Music Group in February and released her first single under the deal, “Talk About Love,” Jan. 30.
Glorious earns Hudson her first solo entry on Billboard’s charts, following one collaborative hit. In September 2012, her role as dance teacher Cassandra July in the fourth season of Glee resulted in a Billboard chart placement following that season’s premiere episode. The Glee cast’s “Americano/Dance Again,” featuring Hudson, reached No. 25 on the Pop Digital Song Sales chart and No. 61 on Digital Song Sales. The song, in which Hudson performs in character, is a mashup of Lady Gaga’s “Americano” and Jennifer Lopez’s “Dance Again,” featuring Pitbull.

Richman Cashes In on Global 200
Tommy Richman’s “Million Dollar Baby” pushes 2-1 on the Global 200 with 109 million streams (down 12%) and 8,000 sold (down 2%) worldwide May 17-23.
The Woodbridge, Va., native rules the Global 200 with his first overall Billboard chart entry as a lead artist. It’s just the third such No. 1, and the first R&B/hip-hop hit, among 61 total leaders since the list launched, following GAYLE’s “abcdefu” (four weeks at No. 1 in January-February 2022) and Jawsh 685’s “Savage Love (Laxed – Siren Beat),” with Jason Derulo and BTS (one week, October 2020).
Post Malone’s “I Had Some Help,” featuring Morgan Wallen, drops to No. 2 on the Global 200 a week after it debuted at No. 1 and Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” keeps at No. 3, two weeks after it arrived at the summit.

Billie Eilish debuts three songs in the Global 200 top 10, all from her new LP, Hit Me Hard and Soft, which starts at No. 2 on the U.S.-based Billboard 200 albums chart. “Lunch” bows at No. 4, led by 95.3 million first-week worldwide streams, joined in the tier by “Chihiro” at No. 6 (77.1 million) and “Birds of a Feather” at No. 8 (64 million). Eilish ups her career count to seven Global 200 top 10s.
Rounding out the Global 200’s top five, Sabrina Carpenter’s “Espresso” drops 4-5, after hitting No. 2.

Sabrina Carpenter’s “Espresso” adds a third week at No. 1 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart, with 63.9 million streams (up 7%) and 3,000 sold (up 20%) outside the U.S. May 17-23.
Billie Eilish’s “Lunch” debuts at No. 2 on Global Excl. U.S., with 63 million streams outside the U.S., followed by her “Chihiro” (No. 4; 50.1 million) and “Birds of a Feather” (No. 9; 39 million). As on the Global 200, Eilish now boasts seven Global Excl. U.S. top 10s.

Plus, aespa achieves its first Global Excl. U.S. top 10 as “Supernova” shoots 23-7, up 73% to 45.4 million streams outside the U.S. The South Korean quartet – comprising members Giselle, Karina, Ningning and Winter – tallied five prior top 40 hits on the chart: “Drama” (No. 21 peak, November 2023), “Spicy” (No. 40, June 2023), “Girls” (No. 25, July 2022), “Savage” (No. 24, October 2021) and “Next Level” (No. 34, June 2021).
