Megan Thee Stallion has long moved on from the debacle with Tory Lanez but it appears that the Houston superstar is taking additional steps to create distance from her past. According to a new report, Megan Thee Stallion is requesting a restraining order against the imprisoned Tory Lanez, citing that the Canadian artist is still harassing her from behind bars.
In a report from PEOPLE, Megan Thee Stallion, born Megan Pete, says that Tory Lanez, born Daystar Peterson, is allegedly using social media and other individuals to harass her according to court documents filed on Tuesday (Dec. 17) asking the Los Angeles Superior Court judge overseeing the matter to grant the order.

“Despite being sentenced to 10 years in prison for shooting Ms. Pete, Mr. Peterson continues to subject her to repeated trauma and revictimization,” a portion of the court document read according to PEOPLE.
Adding to the claims made by Pete, the filing says that Peterson allegedly employed celebrity blogger Milagro Gramz to spread more lies and poke holes in Pete’s account of what took place between her and Peterson back in 2020. The filing reveals that it appears that Peterson’s father was the go-between person for his son and Gramz, whose real name is Milagro Elizabeth Cooper.
“In these prison calls, Mr. Peterson’s father—when he thought no one was listening— asked his son about payments to Ms. Cooper for her harassment of Ms. Pete: ‘How are they ever going to prove something like that?’” the court document revealed, with reportedly Peterson saying to his father, “exactly.”
Lanez was convicted in 2022 for assault with a semiautomatic firearm, having a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle, and discharging a firearm with gross negligence after shooting Pete in the foot in 2020. Lanez is currently serving a 10-year prison sentence and is angling for an appeal.

We now have more details about the mishap at Jamie Foxx’s birthday. The incident was apparently caused by crew members of Jackass.

Page Six is reporting that the Oscar winner’s recent celebration of life came to an abrupt end thanks to an indecent attempt at humor. The celebrity website says the In Living Color talent invited a small circle of family and friends to Mr. Chow’s in Beverly Hills, Calif. While dining, someone in the upstairs VIP area starting shining a laser pointer in the shape of a penis to his table. Naturally, this infuriated the comedian especially considering both of his daughters Corinne, 30, and Anelise,16, were both present.

He and some of his party went upstairs to meet the troublemakers. According to TMZ, the area was rented out by Dickhouse Productions, the makers of Jackass. Words were exchanged, which resulted in a confrontation where one of the production crew members allegedly tossed a drink at Jamie’s face, which cut his mouth. Sources tell TMZ the Ray star stood there bleeding and said, “It’s my birthday, what is wrong with you?” It is reported he soon left after the incident, but the Dickhouse Productions crew continued to be aggressive to Jamie’s party downstairs.
A lawyer for Dickhouse has commented on the matter saying, “Although the crew has the greatest respect for Jamie, the version of events that has been presented is totally inaccurate and deeply unfair to those attending their holiday celebration that night.” None of the actual stunt cast members from the Jackass series were present.

Days after the woman accusing Jay-Z and Diddy of rape back in 2000 admitted that she may have misremembered crucial details about the incident, Jay-Z’s lawyer is pouncing on the admission and is filing a motion to have the lawsuit dismissed entirely.

According to Deadline, Jay’s legal representative, Alex Spiro, is looking to get his client off the hook as Jane Doe admitted that she was “guessing” specific details about the night in question and wrote a letter to the judge overseeing the case calling it all a “sham” of a lawsuit. While Jay-Z promised to fight the allegations in a court of justice and even implored Jane Doe’s attorney, Anthony Buzbee, to file a criminal suit instead of a civil one, it seems like it may not even come to that as Jane Doe has damaged her own case by the statements she made during her NBC interview last week.
Per Deadline:

“These stunning revelations make clear that the complaint filed by plaintiffs’ attorney, Anthony Buzbee, therefore had no factual basis whatsoever,” the Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan partner added. “Even Mr. Buzbee is walking back the complaint he put his name to – excusing these glaring inconsistencies by pointing the finger at the case being referred by another firm who allegedly vetted the story before sending to them. The heinous allegations against Mr. Carter are patently false.”
Leaning hard into his take-no-prisoners persona, Spiro also went for the jugular in his letter of late last week by questioning the ethics and jurisdictional rights of Houston-based Buzbee, who has filed dozens of suits against Combs and says he has over 100 clients with sexual assault allegations against the Bad Boy Records founder. “Mr. Buzbee thus appears to have strategically declined to seek admission in order to avoid sanctions for a complaint that he knew had no factual basis,” says the high-profile Spiro in the three-page correspondence to NYC-based Judge Analisa Torres.
While many Jay-Z haters rejoiced after the rape allegation took social media by storm just a few weeks ago, Jay was quick to deny the accusation and called the lawsuit an attempt at blackmail. Since then, Jane Doe’s story has seemingly fallen apart. Not only have many people said that Jay-Z and Diddy didn’t even hang out on the night in question, but the accuser’s own father (whom she said picked her up after the alleged incident) said he didn’t remember doing so that night.
Whether or not the case gets dismissed remains to be seen, but what is obvious is that Jay-Z and his lawyer are prepared to fight this accusation to the bitter end as Jay has promised Buzbee he wouldn’t get “one red penny” from his pockets over this lawsuit.

Chris Rock’s monologue for SNL jabbed at multiple figures in the news, including Donald Trump, Elon Musk, and the CEO of UnitedHealthcare who was killed in midtown Manhattan.

Last Saturday’s (Dec. 14) episode of Saturday Night Live was hosted by veteran comedian Chris Rock. His opening monologue wasted no time in going after multiple people prominent in today’s news but started off with a playful jab at show director Lorne Michaels for “25 great years of Saturday Night Live!” (The show is currently celebrating 50 years on the air.) Rock was a former cast member on the show from 1990 to 1993 and has hosted SNL three times in 1996, 2014, and 2020. He took a shot at Diddy first by bemoaning having to walk by a pack of “baby oil-sniffing dogs.”

He continued by talking about the capture of Luigi Mangione, the suspected shooter of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson in midtown Manhattan earlier this month. “I really feel sorry for the family,” Rock began. “Everybody’s fixated on how good-looking this guy looks. If he looked like Jonah Hill, no one would care. They’d already given him the chair already — he’d be dead. But he actually killed a man — a man with a family, a man with kids. I have condolences. This is a real person, you know? But you also got to go, ‘You know, sometimes drug dealers get shot.’”
The Top Five actor also made sure to roast President-elect Donald Trump and his base of supporters by calling out the history of past American presidents and his proposed plans for mass deportation of undocumented immigrants. “Menendez brothers are getting out of jail — just in time to get deported. Trump is going to deport their ass, you murdering Mexicans!” he quipped before taking aim at tech billionaire Elon Musk. “He’s working with the number one African American in the world. The richest African American in the world: Elon Musk. That’s right. He is African American. Elon’s got more kids than the Cleveland Browns. That’s right. Nobody knows how to get rid of people like a South African.”

Andrew Schulz still has his sights on Kendrick Lamar. The comedian has labeled the rapper the Taylor Swift of Rap.

As reported by Rap-Up, the media personality is not letting up on the “Not Like Us” MC. During the most recent episode of the Brilliant Idiots podcast, Andrew Schulz had a very hot take on Kung-Fu Kenny. “Kendrick really is the Taylor Swift of Hip-Hop. No matter what he does, he’s still the victim,” he explained. “You know how Taylor is always the victim? She’s the biggest in music in history, yet she’s a victim to the label, she’s a victim to Scooter, she’s a victim to her boyfriends. Yet, she’s still the biggest in the world. Somehow Kendrick is the victim here.”

His commentary follows a recent creepy statement he made after Kendrick Lamar took a shot at him on “wacced out murals” about the comedian’s criticism of Black women. “Kendrick’s people and the gang affiliate, you know, everybody, his security, they will kill me, they will destroy me,” he added. “They’ll find me in the street, they’ll f**king cut me up, they’ll shoot, they’ll do whatever, I’m not a tough guy … But just Kendrick? I would make love to him and there’s nothing he could do about it. Just Kendrick Lamar? I would make love to him. And the only thing that he could do is decide if it’s consensual or not.”
You can hear Andrew Schulz’s explain his comparison of Kendrick Lamar and Taylor Swift below.

After a pretty messy weekend between Cardi B and her estranged hubby, Offset, it seems like the two soon-to-be divorcee’s were able to put their differences aside for a minute…kinda. Well, not really.

According to Page Six, Cardi popped up at Offset’s birthday celebration in a see-through bodysuit and with all eyes on her. Cardi made sure to show everyone what she was working with as she is once again on the market. Needless to say, her baby daddy noticed and attempted to get her attention as well.
Per Page Six:

The mother of three — who gave birth to her and Offset’s third child in September — held onto a railing inside the club while the “Versace” rapper, whose real name is Kiari Cephus, looked on from a level above.
Elsewhere during the same outing, Offset was seen throwing wads of cash at Cardi — born Belcalis Almánzar — however, she apparently wasn’t fond of the gesture, as she was spotted shooing the money away from her.
The “I Like It” emcee, 32, didn’t allow the interaction with her ex to bring her down and she was later seen smiling and laughing it off.
Of course Cardi would shoo Offset’s money away from her. Hilarious.

The moment comes after text messages between the two were leaked on social media showing that Offset is still trying his darnedest to lure Cardi B to his honeycomb hideout, but to no avail.

Well, it looks like Diddy is getting used to life behind bars as he’s surprisingly withdrawn his bid to get bail.

According to Variety, the “Bad Boy For Life” rapper has surprisingly fallen back on his attempt to get sprung from prison after being denied multiple times over the past few months. While he definitely has the money to continue to pursue the request, it seems like Diddy’s finally thrown in the towel and has accepted the fact that he’ll be locked up until his trial date gets underway in May of 2025.

Variety reports:

“Mr. Combs does not seek to appeal the district court’s denial of his renewed motion and hereby moves to voluntarily dismiss the appeal,” reads the motion. “Counsel has explained the effect of voluntary dismissal of the appeal.”
Combs signed the motion, which stated that “(a) counsel has explained the effect of voluntary dismissal of the appeal; (b) he understands counsel’s explanation, and (c) he desires to withdraw and voluntarily dismiss the appeal.”
Combs has been lobbying for months to get out of prison, offering a $50 million bond backed by equity in his homes, the promise of security monitoring and assurance that he would not interfere with investigations surrounding the charges. In his latest bail appeal hearing on Nov. 27, Judge Arun Subramanian ruled that “there is evidence of supporting a serious risk of witness tampering” and that Combs contacted witnesses even after his grand jury testimony in June 2024.
We’re low-key surprised he gave up just before the Christmas holidays. You’d think he continue to fight just so he could spend Christmas and New Year’s with his family. Could there actually be some truth to the rumors that Diddy is being treated like royalty by his fellow inmates at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn? We may never know, but with charges that include racketeering, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution, Diddy might’ve felt it was just a waste of money at this point to continue to fight for his freedom.
What do y’all think about Diddy giving up his fight for bail and deciding to remain in prison until his trial date? Let us know in the comments section below.
