Tom Holland has really made a name for himself in Hollywood thanks to his iteration as everyone’s favorite wall crawler, Spider-Man. While he’s one of the biggest stars in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, his debut in the MCU was actually saved by his co-star, Robert Downey Jr.
According to Variety, Holland recently opened up about his first MCU role in Captain America: Civil War (classic) and revealed that though he had eight pages worth of dialogue in the script. When it came down to film his scenes, his role was cut down to a mere two pages. Luckily, for him, RDJ noticed the changes and asked, “where did all the kids lines go?”
After being told that the film was already long enough as is, Robert Downey Jr. implored the directors, Joe and Anthony Russo to reinstate the lines regardless if they end up on the cutting room floor later on. They went with the suggestion, and sure enough, it all paid off in the end.
“Downey was the one who said, ‘No, you’re going to want to spend time on this. Let’s shoot the whole thing from the audition. You can always cut it, but you’re going to want to have it,’” Holland remembered. “And they used all of it. I owe that to him. That’s really cool. I’d love to one day do that…If I’m lucky to bring Miles Morales into the MCU, I’d love to do for a young kid what Downey did for me.”
Interestingly enough, Holland also admitted to going ham on a hotel mini bar the night before his test-screening with Robert Downey Jr., and naturally, “Marvel found out about that.” Those hotel mini bar sensors are a mutha… Thankfully, the young actor has since cleaned up his act and has been clean and sober ever since and even launched his own non-alcoholic beverage, Bero. Y’all know Zendaya isn’t going to be putting up with no alcoholic boyfriend out here looking the way she looks. Smart move, Tommy boy.

Donald Trump has yet another legal issue at hand. Charlamagne Tha God has filed a cease-and-desist against the Republican nominee.
As spotted on Blavity, the media personality has taken issue with the convicted felon. A recent political advertisement features a clip from The Breakfast Club where he and DJ Envy discuss Kamala Harris’ advocacy for offering transgender prisoners sex change procedures. According to Vibe, he has since sent Trump’s office a cease-and-desist notification requesting his image and likeness be removed from the advertisement. “Cease-and-desist been sent,” Charlamagne announced adding, “Since when does Trump care about what’s legal!?”
While it appears the Moncks Corner, S.C., native isn’t in favor of her support, he would go on to clarify that Harris’ stance makes sense to him. “I’ll tell you what, that ad they was running during the football games this weekend claiming the vice president supports funding gender transition surgeries for all prison inmates and migrants in the U.S., that was nuts,” he explained at the time. “That ad was effective,” he added. “It literally said that Kamala supports taxpayer-funded sex changes for prisoners, and it talks about how, you know, she supports funding gender transition surgeries for all prison inmates and migrants in the United States. That ad was impactful.”
This is not the first time Donald Trump has been accused of using unauthorized material. Back in 2018, he was using Rihanna’s music during his rallies to which the singer sent him a cease-and-desist. In August 2024, he played “Hold On, I’m Coming” by Isaac Hayes at his rally. Soon after, the estate filed a lawsuit against him, and a federal judge has ordered that his campaign stop playing the song.

The infamous footage of Diddy physically assaulting Cassie might be more sinister than originally imagined. Federal prosecutors say a freak-off was being hosted that day.
As spotted on TMZ, Diddy’s attempts to secure bail are being met with even more opposition. The feds say that Diddy has a long history of pressuring victims and witnesses and because of his behavior he should sit in jail until his trial commences.
While they don’t mention Cassie by name in the new documents submitted to the court, the U.S. Attorney’s Office makes direct references to the shocking video saying he beat the victim and proceeded to “drag her back to the hotel room.”
They go on to stress what occurred shortly after the beating, specifically, Diddy’s actions to keep the beating under wraps. The disgraced mogul allegedly offered a hotel security guard “a stack of cash in exchange for his silence.”
Even though the employee denied the offer federal prosecutors say that “within days” Diddy’s staff made the footage disappear from the hotel’s computer servers. They also allege that the beating took place when Diddy was hosting a freak-off. ExtraTV reports that Cassie and a sex worker were both trying to escape the carnal affair.
Diddy’s trial is set to commence in May 2025.

One of Hip-Hop’s most celebrated street figures is almost home. Big Meech of BMF has been assigned to a halfway house.
As spotted on TMZ, the Detroit, Mich. native is no longer behind bars. Last week, the Black Mafia Family leader was released from FCI Coleman Low, a low-security federal correctional institution in Florida. The celebrity gossip website claims he has now been moved to a halfway house governed by the Miami Residential Reentry Management Office. A photograph of Big Meech and his barber has since surfaced; in the flick, we see him wearing street clothes as opposed to a jail uniform.

While he or his family has yet to formally comment on the matter his lawyer Brittany K. Barnett expressed her excitement about his release in an exclusive statement to The Michigan Chronicle. “He used his time in prison to focus on personal growth and transformation, and now he has the opportunity to begin a new chapter.”
The Black Mafia Family is alleged to have run one of the most successful drug trafficking organizations in America.
In 2005, Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory was arrested in part of a federal investigation against BMF, which resulted in him and over 100 other individuals being arrested. He and his brother both received 30-year sentences.
Earlier this year, a judge shortened his time by three years due to good behavior. His sentence now ends Jan. 27, 2026.

Throughout his career 50 Cent has remained one of Diddy’s most vocal critics. In a recent interview, Fif explains why he would poke fun at the mogul.
The G-Unit CEO recently interviewed with People magazine. While he discussed several topics during his sit-down, the entertainment publication got him to explain why he would tease Combs throughout his career.
“Look, it seems like I’m doing some extremely outrageous things, but I haven’t. It’s really me just saying what I’ve been saying for 10 years,” 50 Cent said. The “I Get Money” rapper went on to add, “Now it’s becoming more full-facing in the news with the Puffy stuff, but away from that, I’m like, ‘Yo, it’s just my perspective because I stayed away from that stuff the entire time, because this is not my style.’”
While the two have been spotted hanging out from time to time, Fif maintained they only had a working relationship.
“I wouldn’t call it a friendship because there wouldn’t be disappointment between us if we didn’t speak to each other,” he says. In 2006, things seemed to sour between them when 50 Cent, who was trying to sign Mase at the time, expressed his frustrations with Diddy on a diss track called “The Bomb.”
Not only did 50 say Combs was stalling the deal but also alluded that the Bad Boy Entertainment founder had something to do with The Notorious B.I.G.’s murder.
Diddy’s federal trafficking trial is set to commence in May. His previous attempts to secure bail have been denied.

We’re only three weeks away from voting for the 47th president of the United States and with the very real chance that Donald “Dementia” Trump can not only win, but also go on to become the first dictator in America’s history, former WWE superstar Dave Bautista is doing his part to get everyone to vote for the most qualified candidate for the presidency, Kamala Harris.
Recently, the Guardians of The Galaxy movie star cut a comedic segment for Jimmy Kimmel Live in which he roasts Donald Trump for his many faults while taking in some boxing practice in the gym. Calling out Donald Trump for the “tough guy” image that so many of his cult members fawn over, Dave Bautista reminds everyone that Donald Trump not only “wears more makeup than Dolly Parton” but also has “jugs, big ones. Like Dolly Parton.”
Cutting ass on Cheeto Jesus for two minutes straight, Bautista reminds everyone that Trump was also known for creeping around beauty pageants, paid for deferments to avoid being sent to Vietnam and of course, “whines like a baby.” We’re low-key surprised he didn’t mention his adultery with porn stars, relationship with Jeffery Epstein, or how he stole money from a children’s cancer charity. Then again, pointing out every single aspect of Donald Trump’s horrible character would take up a good portion of Jimmy Kimmel Live.
Check out Dave Bautista roast Donald Trump in the name of democracy below, and let us know your thoughts in the comments section.

The recent rumors of Kanye West and Bianca Censori divorcing recently made headlines. Some say that this was a plot so Ye can divert the attention away from his ex-assistant suing him for assault.
As spotted on Page Six, an unnamed individual is claiming that the speculation of the celebrity couple parting ways is actually fake news. An alleged insider told Daily Mail that the hearsay was concocted by Kanye and his team. “Kanye is concerned that his new lawsuit will drag him down to Diddy’s level and he has been speaking to his legal reps,” the tipster said. “He is paying attention to what is going on with Diddy and some believe that the publicity stunt was a way of overshadowing the details of the harrowing lawsuit.”
Kanye West’s former assistant Lauren Pisciotta says she was drugged and taken advantage of by her former boss during a recording session at a studio where Diddy was present. She claims she was offered a beverage “laced with an unidentified drug.” She then says she felt “disoriented” and in “less control of her body and speech.” She woke up the next morning with very little memory of the day prior but says Kanye later admitted to her that the two had hooked up.
“Still to that day, up until that conversation and revelations of true facts and actions taken that night, Plaintiff did not know or think she was sexually assaulted that night, as Plaintiff only thought she was roofied by a studio assistant, likely embarrassed herself and then took the blame,” the lawsuit reads. While Pisciotta says Diddy was at the recording session, he is not accused of any wrongdoing.
Back in June, the rapper’s lawyers responded to the lawsuit calling it baseless. Kanye West and Bianca Censori have been married since 2022.

Ananda Lewis made her name in the industry as a television personality and MTV VJ, along with other endeavors over the past two decades. In a recent discussion on CNN, Ananda Lewis shared that she now has Stage IV breast cancer and is urging others to seek professional treatment.
Ananda Lewis, 51, joined a candid roundtable discussion with CNN’s Stephanie Elam and Sara Sidner, the latter of whom is currently dealing with Stage III breast cancer. The chat opens with light banter between the trio and Lewis revealing that she learned of her diagnosis in 2018.
Instead of going with the recommended double mastectomy suggested by her doctors, Lewis says she took the natural remedy route and tried homeopathic medicine to treat her cancer. As Elam explained in the discussion via a voiceover segment of the discussion, Lewis’ self-administered treatment plan worked for a short while but it didn’t eradicate cancer from her body.
“My plan at first was to get out excessive toxins in my body. I felt like my body is intelligent, I know that to be true. Our bodies are brilliantly made,” Lewis explained. “I decided to keep my tumor and try to work it out of my body a different way. Looking back on that, I go, ‘You know what? Maybe I should have.’ ”
Sidner, 52, went on to share that she elected to have a double mastectomy earlier this year to address the issue straight away. She also shared that her diagnosis influenced her to live more boldly and freely.
According to a 2022 article written by the American Cancer Society, Black women are more likely to die from breast cancer than their white counterparts although Black women have lower breast cancer diagnoses.

It’s been a helluva 2024 for Kendrick Lamar. Not only did he drop one of the most contagious records in Hip-Hop history with “Not Like Us” (which decimated the popularity of his rival, Drake), but he’s also been chosen to headline the next Super Bowl Halftime Show, which will no doubt feature said record on a global stage.
As if that wasn’t bad enough (for Drake anyway), the now-classic diss record has gone on to collect all kinds of accolades for the Compton representative and helped Kung Fu Kenny clean up at last night’s BET Hip Hop Awards. The enormous popularity of “Not Like Us” led to K. Dot taking home trophies in categories such as “Song of the Year,” “Best Hip Hop Video,” “Impact Track,” and ultimately led to him winning “Hip Hop Artist of the Year.”
Kendrick even got “Best Guest Verse of the Year” for his bars on Future and Metro Boomin’s “Like That,” which actually kicked off his battle with Drake and J. Cole, who “gracefully” bowed out of the battle after releasing and retracting a diss record of his own.
Unfortunately, for fans, BET’s “Lyricist of the Year” winner wasn’t on hand for the festivities as he was out and about handling his business, but best believe fans weren’t mad as most felt he earned everyone of these trophies after a busy year that saw him and Drake release back-to-back-to-back hit diss records that had the culture on edge before Summer even starter. It was amazing.
What do y’all think about Kendrick Lamar’s big night at the BET Hip Hop Awards? Well deserved or nah? Let us know in the comments section below.
