Diddy has just received his first piece of good news in a long time. A judge has ruled that prosecutors can’t use materials seized from his jail cell.
As spotted on Deadline, the now embattled mogul might be feeling more confident heading into his upcoming bail hearing. On Tuesday (November 19), Judge Arun Subramanian denied the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District the ability to leverage any information seized from an October raid in Diddy’s jail cell. U.S. Attorney Damian Williams submitted a filing last week alleging that the Bad Boy Entertainment founder had written notes detailing plans to “blackmail” witnesses, make unauthorized calls, and more.
“While attempting to evade law enforcement monitoring, the defendant has, among other things, orchestrated social media campaigns that are, in his own words, aimed at tainting the jury pool; made efforts to publicly leak materials he views as helpful to his case; and contacted witnesses through third parties,” the memo read.
Additionally, prosecutors also submitted a transcript of a call Diddy made to one of his sons that shows “the defendant’s goal is to blackmail victims and witnesses either into silence or providing testimony helpful to his defense.”
Some of the items seized in the raid include “intact pages from two different legal pads, (ii) pages of an address book, (iii) a ripped-out, folded-over page of a third legal pad, (iv) a ripped-out page of another legal pad and (v) a ripped-out page of yet a different legal pad.”
Diddy’s legal team pushed back citing the raid violated several of their client’s Amendments rights. Diddy’s third bail hearing is scheduled for November 22. He has previously offered a $50 million bond and agreed to only be in contact with his family and legal team.

TV personality Dr. Oz is Donald Trump’s choice to lead the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, leaving social media users horrified.
On Tuesday (November 19), President-Elect Donald Trump announced that he was selecting Dr. Mehmet Oz, the former celebrity heart surgeon who became a television personality before getting into politics. The move garnered a slew of responses from social media onlookers who were appalled at the choice, which aligns with Trump’s prior picks of television personalities to fill the cabinet for his incoming presidential administration.
In a statement, Trump wrote that Oz would “work closely with Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to take on the illness industrial complex, and all the horrible chronic diseases left in its wake.”
Oz’s reputation grew after being featured on media mogul Oprah Winfrey’s long-running talk show numerous times, which led to a spinoff, The Dr. Oz Show, in 2009. That show lasted for 13 seasons, earning him an Emmy Award.
He’s also written several books, and while he stopped performing surgeries in 2018, he is still licensed as a doctor in Pennsylvania. He lost to the current Democratic Senator, John Fetterman, in that state in 2022. Fetterman claimed in a post on X, formerly Twitter, that he’d support Oz’s nomination: “If Dr. Oz is about protecting and preserving Medicare and Medicaid, I’m voting for the dude.”
Oz and Trump have a distinct bond, with Oz being on the President’s Council on Sports, Fitness, and Nutrition in Trump’s first term. The response on social media to the choice of Dr. Oz left many concerned. One user on X, formerly Twitter, wrote, “America is once again the laughingstock of the world.”
Others pointed to his extensive history of his ties to companies pushing false medical cures and of his push to privatize Medicare. That stance is aligned with the Republican Party’s previously expressed aims of gutting Medicare and Medicaid. More pointed out how he was promoting hydroxychloroquine as a drug to combat COVID-19 during the early days of the pandemic, which was proven false.
“CMS is a critical agency & we need serious leaders to protect Americans’ health care and bring down costs—not TV hosts whose main qualification is their loyalty to Trump,” wrote former Senator Patty Murray of Washington in a post on X.
Dr. Oz has zero qualifications, pushes alarming pseudoscience, & holds extreme anti-abortion views.

Netflix is reporting a knockout in terms of views for its mega-fight between “Iron” Mike Tyson and Jake Paul, which took place live last Friday (November 15). Despite some technical issues experienced by some users, Netflix shared viewing numbers for the event via a press release and boasted over 108 million live viewers from around the world.
The Mike Tyson and Jake Paul fight had its fair share of critics ahead of the bout and Netflix took a lot of the blame but once the ship righted itself, things were smooth even if the main event didn’t go the way many hoped. That said, TVision, which captures viewership data and related insights, reported that 56% of all television viewers in the United States tuned in for the main event.
Netflix also highlighted an early contender for Fight of the Year with Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano running it back a second time with Taylor, the reigning WBA, WBC, IBF, WBO, and IBO light-welterweight champion. The bout was brutal with Serrano, a Puerto Rican fighter raised in Brooklyn, N.Y., outpunching Taylor and doing so with a nasty eye injury but ultimately losing in a controversial decision.
To get into the weeds of the numbers, Tyson and Paul captured an estimated average minute audience (AMA) of around 108 million live viewers from around the world, and those eyes stayed on the streaming service through the weekend with over 125 million estimated AMA.
In comparison, the Taylor-Serrano fight averaged around 74 million live viewers around the world and is reportedly the most-watched professional women’s sporting event in United States history. In addition, in the States, their fight garnered 47 million AMA.

The fight was the top title on Netflix with 46.6 million viewers last weekend. It was also the top-rated title in 78 countries, including the United Kingdom, Canada, Mexico, Italy, and South Africa, among other countries. The fight was also a top 10 title in 91 countries worldwide for the week of November 11-17.
According to Joe Hand Promotions, an estimated 1 million viewers watched the event across 6,000 bars in the United States, which stands as a record for commercial distribution of a combat sports event in the company’s history. And on social media, the fight dominated the top 10 trending topic slots due to the technical issues and the fight itself.

Earlier this year, NBA YoungBoy found himself on the wrong side of the law when he was busted for weapons and drugs possession. Now, the “Bandit” rapper has seemingly taken a plea deal in the case in an effort to avoid a lengthy prison sentence.
According to ABC4 , NBA YoungBoy, whose real name is Kentrell DeSean Gaulden, has pleaded guilty to running a prescription drug fraud ring outside of his multimillion dollar home in Huntsville, Utah. The 25-year-old rapper was originally slapped with 46 charges related to this massive drug bust and ultimately pleaded guilty to two counts of third-degree felony identity fraud, two counts of third-degree felony forgery, and six counts of misdemeanor unlawful pharmacy conduct.
Though he was staring at a lengthy prison stint had he fought the case, the guilty plea will help keep him out of the bing, and he’ll be asked to pay a $25,000 fine as the four felony charges will be reduced to Class A Misdemeanors. Man, did that man avoid a couple of bullets there.
Per ABC4:
Logan District Judge Spencer Walsh agreed to suspend a prison sentence as Gaulden is expected to serve a “substantial” 27 months in federal prison for related charges in a federal case stemming out of Weber County. Following his release, Gaulden will then be placed on five years of federal supervised probation.
“This is somewhat of a unique case where there have been multiple jurisdictions involved both in the federal and the state systems,” said state prosecutor Ronnie Keller. “This is just really a smaller cog in the bigger wheel of ultimately seeking justice.”
Luckily, for YoungBoy, he had an empathetic judge overseeing his case in Judge Walsh who explained why he didn’t want to throw the book at him.
“I’ve seen so many times where you have young men and women who have a lot of talent and potential. They can be robbed of that potential when they start to really struggle with their addictions,” Walsh told Gaulden. “I don’t want that for you.”
Walsh continued saying, “I’m sure that in your future, once you’re done with your federal prison time, you can be really successful on federal probation and have a really bright future where you can reach your full potential in every aspect of your life. Best of luck to you, Mr. Gaulden.”
Hopefully, NBA YoungBoy makes the most out of this second chance gifted to him by the legal system.

Vince Staples, from what can be gathered from interviews and podcast appearances, isn’t a man who enjoys the unwavering intensity of the so-called white gaze, creating sonic soundscapes with a certain demographic in mind. During his set at this year’s Camp Flog Gnaw with Tyler, The Creator at the helm, Vince Staples flipped a crowd participation moment into an opportunity to bark on white fans in attendance.
Vince Staples, who enjoyed a solid 2024 on the creative side with the warm embrace of his eponymously named television series on Netflix and his latest studio album Dark Times, was on hand for the annual Camp Flog Gnaw festival in Los Angeles, now in its 10th year.
During his set, Staples, 31, paused his set to ask the crowd a particular question.
“Do y’all really like f*ck with that real n*gga sh*t,” Staples asks the crowd, which was comprised of several white fans who responded favorably to the shoutout but what came next was a classic retort from the talented Long Beach rapper and actor.
“A bunch of white people saying they like real n*gga sh*t”” Staples said. “It’s perplexing.”
Staples also called the crowd “stupid motherf*ckers” before launching into the rest of his set.
Vince Staples was one of the many standout acts at Camp Flog Gnaw with Erykah Badu, Action Bronson, Madlib, Sampha, Doechii, ScHoolboy Q, and more, including appearances from Sexyy Red, SZA, and others. There was also a segment of the festival dedicated to the memory of the late, great MF DOOM.

Diddy’s pursuit of bail continues to be an uphill battle. Prosecutors claim he has been abusing his phone privileges to finesse the system and more.
PEOPLE reports that the mogul’s latest push for a restricted release faces more objection. On Friday (Nov. 15), prosecutors submitted new documents detailing their reasoning on why the Bad Boy Entertainment founder should not be granted a new bail hearing.
This time, they point to some of his behavior while behind bars and claim he has been bending the rules in his favor. They say the “Victory” rapper has been utilizing a “non-authorized third-party messaging service” to communicate with his staff, family, and others.
The app in question is ContactMeASAP, and the filing asserts he has been using it to contact “unauthorized” contacts. He is also accused of using other inmates’ phone access codes to make “three-way calls to contact other individuals.”
Will A Recent Social Media Media Post Doom Diddy?
Prosecutors also point to his recent conversation with his children on his birthday.
“The defendant enlisted family members to plan and execute a social media campaign around the defendant’s birthday, with the intention of influencing the potential jury in this criminal proceeding,” the paperwork reads. “At the defendant’s carefully curated direction, the defendant’s children posted a video to their respective social media accounts showing the defendant’s children gathered to celebrate the defendant’s birthday.” The feds would also go on to suspect Diddy had “monitored the analytics” of the post and “explicitly discussed with his family how to ensure that the video had his desired effect on potential jury members in this case.”
The footage in question shows Justin Combs, Quincy Combs, Christian Combs, Jessie, D’Lila Combs, and Chance Combs, who joined via FaceTime and spoke to Diddy over the phone. His children wished him a happy birthday and had a small cake on the table in his honor. Diddy has plead not guilty to the charges.

Mike Tyson and Jake Paul will be locking horns in the squared circle Friday night (November 15) in a bout that will draw plenty of views as the former heavyweight champion takes on a much younger fighter. During the mandatory faceoff for photo opportunities, Mike Tyson gave Jake Paul a little smack on the cheek to let him know what will be in store for tonight.
Mike Tyson and Jake Paul were in Texas at the weigh-in ahead of their super fight bout that will be held at the AT&T Stadium, which will air live on Netflix. As custom for most combat sporting events, Tyson and Paul greeted each other in the stare-down segment after the weigh-in with all the theatrics fighters used to intimidate or size up their opponents.
In a video clip that has since gone viral, Paul rushed Tyson and crowded his space, prompting Iron Mike to unleash five fingers to the face in yet another slap heard around the world. The pair were quickly separated with a smiling Paul mocking Tyson at the moment.
According to a report from ESPN, a Tyson insider claims that Paul stepped on Tyson’s foot during the faceoff and had enough of the trash talk with the footstepping being a final straw.
For what it’s worth, Tyson, 58, weighed in at a fit 233 pounds with Paul, 27, weighing in at 220. To date, this is the largest gap in age between two fighters in professional boxing history.
Tyson, who boasts a record of 50-6 with 44 knockouts, has not fought professionally in 19 years. Tyson has participated in a pair of exhibition fights, including clashing with Roy Jones Jr. Paul’s last fight came last July with a sixth-round stoppage of Mike Perry by TKO.
The Friday night bout between “Iron” Mike Tyson and Jake Paul kicks off on Netflix at 8 PM EST. Learn more here.

Paris might be known as the “City of Love,” but it seems like Offset’s relationship with some of its residents got off to a rocky start as he found himself in a brouhaha during a recent visit to the home of the Eiffel Tower.
According to TMZ, Offset and his entourage found themselves in a wild street brawl with French rapper, Gazo, and his crew outside of Hôtel du Collectionneur (sounds like a hotel in a John Wick movie or something). The incident unfolded Wednesday night (Nov. 13) after the two crews got into a dispute over a music video shoot that Offset was paid to do for Gazo and company. Feeling like the former Migos rapper failed to meet their requirements due to his “laziness,” Gazo wanted a refund on the $150,000 he paid Offset for his appearance. Needless to say, the “Clout” rapper was having none of that.
After confronting Offset and his crew in front of Hôtel du Collectionneur, fists were thrown and Offset was even able to land a kick to someone’s head as his security team did their best to refrain him from participating in the sidewalk brawl.
TMZ reports:
The 2 sides began to brawl so hard in the Paris streets … one guy managed to land a swift roundhouse kick to the back of one of Offset’s guy’s head, which angered the rapper.
The guard was preventing him from jumping into the fight to even the odds!!!
The confusion even led to Offset’s crew fighting each other at one point — but Offset wouldn’t give up.
He managed to break free and whack one of his French opps with a designer boot kick to the head — before the guard rushed him back into the hotel.
The French rappers weren’t quitters either and bum-rushed the door, attempting to pull Offset out. A woman ended up taking a scary fall on the pavement when she fought off the attackers.
We’re not sure if that woman was a video model or part of anyone’s crew, but what we do know is that she was a ride or die chick for someone out there. Respect, shorty.
Eventually, police arrived on the scene and though no one was taken into custody, Gazo ultimately shared a pic of himself kicking it with Offset to promote their upcoming collaboration, “Wemby.” If he didn’t get his money back he might as well get his money’s worth and promote their collabo regardless, right?
What do y’all think of this situation? Who’s right and who’s wrong in your opinion? Sound off in the comments section below.

PnB Rock was tragically shot and killed during a robbery while dining inside a Roscoe’s Chicken & Waffles restaurant, leading to the arrest and conviction of Freddie Lee Trone to 31 years in prison. New footage of the incident has emerged and it suggests that PnB Rock was set up by a pair of patrons who presumably tipped off Trone and his teen son who carried out the robbery and shooting.
YouTube channel True Crime News shared a video featuring footage of the fateful day when PnB Rock, real name Rakim Hasheem Allen, and his fiancée Stephanie Sibounheuang visited Roscoe’s Chicken & Waffles in South Central Los Angeles in September 2022.
True Crime News host Ana Garcia is heard explaining the happenings in the surveillance footage, which shows a person greeting Allen while outside footage shows two people allegedly planning the crime. Trone’s son arrived by car and fired three shots at Allen with restaurant workers, a security guard, and guests vacating the establishment.
The bodycam footage obtained from police showed the vantage point of officers who responded to the scene of the crime, with detectives asking Sibounheuang about the shooting. At that time, Sibounheuang is informed that her fiancée did not survive the gunshot wounds.
Sibounheuang absorbed blame for the incident after she posted on her Instagram Story feed that she was at the restaurant, including showing the location via geotag.
Some observers believed she was the reason the robbers were able to corner Allen. However, Garcia shared that according to the timing of the planning going on outside of the robbery and Sibounheuang’s Instagram post do not match up. The plot was hashed out well before she shared the location, thus effectively clearing her of any blame according to the True Crime News findings.
We will share a link to True Crime News‘ report but will not embed the video in the body of this post due to the disturbing details within. However, clicking here will lead you to the story but please proceed cautiously.
PnB Rock was 30.
