Cam’ron had plenty to say about Anthony Edwards keeping receipts in his latest adidas commercial.
One thing Cam’ron is not here for is people calling him out. The rapper and now sports talk show host had time for the Minnesota Timberwolves phenom and iconic sportswear company.
The open wound left after the Dallas Mavericks made short work of the Timberwolves in the NBA Western Conference Finals hasn’t even healed yet, but that didn’t stop Edwards from dropping a new AD, letting his haters know he is literally keeping receipts.
In the pretty clever spot for his impressive AE 1 signature basketball shows, Edward’s friend reads comments that were printing out of a receipt machine while he continues to practice on his game.
One of those receipts showed the Dipset co-founder saying about Edwards, “To me, he’s an All-Star, but not a superstar yet.” In response, Edwards says, “f*ck buddy.”

Cam’ron’s Petty Was On Another Level
Cam’ron shared the commercial on his Instagram account with the caption, “#Fuckbuddy 😂😂🔥🔥🔥 commercial!! Thx @adidas for the love. And I had antman back this whole time but I’ll address this Monday on the show.. love the attitude tho. Only thing I would say is get a better looking lesbian to read the receipts.”
Oof, why did homie have to catch a stray like that?
Utilizing his popular sports debate show, It Is What Is, Cam’ron had free smoke for the professional hooper and adidas in the form of freestyle over Black Rob’s “Whoa” beat while rocking a Luka Doncic jersey.
“But f**k wrong with Ant-Man, gave him his props, homie got love from me, new commercial, y’all ain’t got love for me,” Killa Cam raps.

Cam’ron wasn’t done there.
He then came with his own receipts in the form of a “documentary” he is making linking adidas brand footwear with memorable sports injuries like Kevin Ware’s gruesome leg injury he sustained while hooping.

He’s so petty.
We hope cooler heads can prevail. It’s kind of lame of Killa Cam to revisit Kevin Ware’s injury in this manner.

1. Petty levels off the charts.

Over the past few days P. Diddy’s been the subject of much disdain and ridicule after the video of him disgustingly abusing Cassie Ventura in a hotel hallway hit the internet. While many celebrities took to social media to slam Diddy for his actions, Cam’ron doesn’t seem to want to touch too directly on the subject. In an interview with Abby Phillip on CNN’s NewsNight, the Harlem rapper was asked about his opinion on the video of Diddy putting hands on Cassie and was seemingly bothered by the question and refrained from criticizing his fellow Harlemite. After being asked by Phillip if he “recognized that Sean Combs,” a seemingly reluctant Cam’ron answered by saying he didn’t support the things that Diddy’s been accused of calling the video “egregious” and said Diddy wasn’t “necessarily a friend.”
When Phillip once again asked if he recognized that side of Diddy, Cam’ron asked her, “What do you mean did I recognize him? I seen him. What do you mean my experiences? I seen it and thought it was disgusting. I didn’t do a zoom in and seen if it was really him but he admitted it was him.”
Things only got a bit weirder when asked about his thoughts on Diddy’s widely panned “apology” video. Cam didn’t want to weigh in on how he felt about it saying “The apology ain’t for me to decide, it’s for Cassie. He ain’t do nothing for me. You need to ask Cassie if she accept the apology. What I think about it don’t matter.”
And if you thought things couldn’t get any weirder than that, it did. After being asked about Diddy’s reputation for treating his artists, Cam downed a shot of his PinkHorsePower sexual enhancement drink before stating he was “going to get some cheeks” after the interview.
In an attempt to keep it professional, Phillip asked Cam if the music industry had been protecting Diddy all these years only for a visibly annoyed Cam to ask someone on his side “Who booked me for this joint?” before the interview was cut as Cam definitely didn’t want to be talking about Diddy’s issue in front of America.
Taking to X to speak on his appearance, Cam’ron said he was bothered that they didn’t invite him to talk about the success of his show with Ma$e and the “positive stuff we do in our community.” Once again saying he doesn’t support anything Diddy is accused of, Cam says “this is what I do on these joints” when it comes to interviews on cable news network.

Cam’ron and Ma$e spoke out about the backlash they’ve received for their criticism of Kendrick Lamar’s recent beef with Drake.

As the beef between Kendrick Lamar and Drake heated up after the former dropped the scathing diss track “Euphoria” on Tuesday (April 30), Cam’ron and Ma$e felt that Drake still had the upper hand. That assessment wound up getting the public riled up, directing comments at both rappers and calling them out noting the two sporting jackets from Drake’s OVO imprint in a photo. It led to the two to addressing the situation on the latest episode of their Come And Talk 2 Me podcast on Thursday (May 2).

“Do you realize that n-ggas is mad because of our opinion on the beef between Drake and Kendrick Lamar?” Cam’ron said to Ma$e at the 2:25 mark of the episode. “I’m like, ‘yo, bro. Why we can’t have our opinion?’ I don’t get that! I don’t really get why we can’t have our opinion!” He continued by downplaying any coastal rivalry. “Secondly, this is what I wanted to say. And this is not to start a problem with anybody. West Coast people: East Coast n—-s is not as big on the ‘coast’ shit as y’all are on the coast s–t.”

Ma$e went on to express that he feels that the tracks from Drake and Kendrick Lamar that the public has heard so far aren’t the impactful tracks they’d be impressed by. “I think Kendrick got something else that he’s really been holding onto, and that’s what I’m speaking to. Don’t waste our time, and just go crazy, man.”
The Harlem natives’ previous take from their Wednesday (May 1) episode saw them go for Drake over Kendrick for various reasons. “I think Drake is winning. ‘Euphoria’ didn’t really move me,” Cam’ron stated. “I’m expecting lyrics from Kendrick, you’re expecting certain things. The song was kinda long, it took too long to come out — pause. I’m not saying it’s bad.” Ma$e agreed, “It took a while for us to get the record from Kendrick and when you wait a while it gotta be outta this world. I think if Kendrick dropped this record right after ‘[Push Ups] Drop and Give Me 50,’ it would have been crazy.”

On Thursday (April 11), news broke that O.J. Simpson passed away from cancer at the age of 76 on April 10. While many were happy to learn that the Juice was going to be put in a box, Cam’ron and Mase paid homage to the controversial figure who was a regular on their hit show, It Is What It Is.

Posting a video tribute on their IG page which featured O.J. Simpson on their show, a caption was included, which broke down how honored the crew felt to have had him be a part of their podcast.

“1st OF ALL WE WANT TO SEND OUR HEART FELT CONDOLENCES OUT TO THE FAMILY OF #OJSIMPSON 2nd OF ALL WE JUST WANT TO SAY THANK YOU ‘UNCLE O’ FOR GRACING US WITH YOUR PRESENCE, YOU WERE DEFINITELY ONE OF A KIND, YOU BECAME ‘UNCLE O’ TO US CAUSE IT WAS LIKE HAVING A REAL UNCLE AROUND, YOU WERE FUNNY & VERY DOWN TO EARTH… ” the post began. “WHEN WE SIGNED OUR DEAL THE FIRST CO-HOST WE THOUGHT ABOUT HAVING WAS ‘UNCLE O’ WE SAID OH WE GONE BREAK THE INTERNET WITH #OJ & THAT WE DID, YOU HELPED MAKE OUR SHOW 10x’s BETTER & EVERYONE LOVED YOU… WE WILL CHERISH THESE LAST MEMORIES WE WERE ABLE TO SHARE WITH YOU… YOU WILL FOREVER BE APART OF THE #ITISWHATITISTALK FAMILY 🕊️ WE LOVE YOU ‘UNCLE O’…. #LLTHEJUICE🖤”
We’re not gonna lie, having O.J Simpson on that show was pretty wild but very entertaining given the circumstances of his past.
While many were bothered by the fact that Simpson would get another chance at stardom on any platform, the man did show he would’ve been a great sports talk show personality with his insight and takes on football players and games. But again, the man is known for allegedly murdering his ex-wife and her friend and surprisingly getting away with it in a court of law. So yeah.
Check out the video tribute, and let us know your thoughts on it in the comments section below.

Brother Love’s name continued to get dragged for filth. The “No Diddy” trend continues to gain popularity and 50 Cent has hopped on the bandwagon.

HipHopDX is reporting that the new way to nullify any statements that could be interpreted as a homosexual act (Ed. Note: Not that there’s anything wrong with that if that’s your preference.) is catching on. Last week the term “No Diddy” was informally introduced during a recent interview with DJ Akademiks and Quilly on the Off The Record podcast. “I put him in position, no Diddy” the rapper said. While the two discussed a variety of topics it was that quip that quickly went viral. A post on X, formerly known as Twitter, by user BNYX quickly gained traction and eventually landed on 50 Cent’s radar.

On Saturday, March 23 the “Candy Shop” rapper took to Instagram to tease the mogul. “Oh, I fvck wit son that’s my man No Diddy. I’ll Boom you right Now! Fvck outta here! LOL” he wrote. The trend was also discussed on the It Is What It Is show when MA$E asked Cam’ron and Treasure “Stat Baby” Wilson about it. “How did y’all feel about the weekend? They changed the term for ‘pause’” he said. Killa responded and revealed he had heard about the new phrase prior but was reluctant to bring it up as he didn’t want MA$E to feel it was direct shot at him given his storied tenure at Bad Boy Entertainment.
“I was wondering how you felt about that,” Cam’ron said. “You know why, ’cause I knew that last week and I was like, ‘I’m not gon’ be first.’ I said, ‘This is really a Betha call. ’Cause I didn’t want you to think I was coming at you, pause, no type of way. If I said it first, I didn’t want you to think I was trying to offend you. I ain’t trying to be funny but that’s what’s going on out there. How do you feel about it?” The “Feels So Good” MC responded asking if the new term sounds as catchy as the original to which Killa said yes.

Cam’ron and Dame Dash have had a tight relationship for decades, which many felt might’ve played a part in the downfall of Roc-A-Fella Records. So when OG Hip-Hop exec Steve Stoute put the blame of the Roc’s breakup squarely on the shoulders of Dame, Cam and Mase came to the defense of Jay-Z’s former business partner.

In a recent interview with Shannon Sharpe on Club Shay Shay, Steve Stoute suggested that Jay-Z outgrew Dame Dash’s “crazy” antics while they were working together at Roc-A-Fella and wanted to pursue bigger and better things. Taking issue with Stoute’s perspective on the matter, Cam’ron and Mase stood up for Dame on their show, It Is What It Is. Cam and Mase talked about how Dame put a lot of people in a position to win in life and even inspired Cam to take his career more seriously than he was at the time.

After Mase reminded everyone that Dame gave a lot of Harlemites jobs in the music industry, Cam chimed in. “Oh, absolutely. It’s a bunch of people outside of me that are still in prominent positions now,” Cam said.
“Dame gets perceived the wrong way because of his attitude. He’s very arrogant but he’s very smart. But the thing about it is, Dame is going to do what works for Dame and at this point you got to accept him,” Cam said. “Either love him or hate him for who he is ’cause he’s not changing, and he’s been successful at helping build $100 million companies — not just one, but multiple,” the “Oh Boy” rapper continued.
“And some people are never going to see $100 million in they life, so I think he’s capable of doing anything in the world. But sometimes to me, to Cam, the way he presents himself to other people is a turn off. He’s an acquired taste, pause.”

Dame for his part didn’t take kindly to Steve Stoute’s take on the Roc’s downfall. He took to IG to express his feelings on the matter by posting a clip of Stoute’s interview with a caption that read, “This is the reason I had to smack the shit out of @stevestoute a couple years ago…because he’s always speaking on other men’s business good thing I’ve evolved #staytuned”

Steve Stoute got slapped up by Dame Dash and Diddy (allegedly) on separate occasions?! That man gotta stop messing around with dudes who got the letter “D” in their names or something.
What do y’all think of the situation? Was Dame to blame for Roc-A-Fella breaking up? Should Stoute be throwing his 2 cents in on the matter? Let us know in the comments section below.

Rapper/sports talk show analyst Cam’ron is learning the hard way about copyright infringement when using photos of yourself you don’t own.
Spotted on Digital Music News, the Diplomats co-founder and co-host of the It Is What It Is podcast has to open up his wallet and pay photographer Djamilla Cochran $51,000.

A judge is ordering Cam’ron to pay Cochran for using her iconic image that features the Harlem rapper donning a pink fur coat and headband while using a pink flip phone without permission.
Per Digital Music News:
Since Cam’ron, whose legal name is Cameron Giles, never so much as responded to the lawsuit, let alone offered up any defenses, Judge William Martini ruled easily in Cochran’s favor. In his ruling, Judge Martini ordered Cam’ron to pay $40,530 in “statutory damages,” in addition to repaying the $10,691 that it cost Cochran to bring the lawsuit in the first place.
“The court finds that a statutory damages award of seven times the licensing fee is sufficient to compensate plaintiff for the infringement of her copyright and to deter future infringements by punishing the defendants,” wrote the judge.
Cochran captured the image in 2003 at a New York fashion show, and it is one of Hip-Hop’s most iconic images. Per the lawsuit, Cam’ron, born Cameron Giles, used the photo on merch like jewelry, t-shirts, and other merchandise.
Now, immediately, you might be wondering how it is possible that the “Oh Boy” crafter is being sued for using a photo of himself; well, the photograph belongs to the person who took the picture.
Cam’ron is not the first celebrity to face this dilemma; Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber, and Dua Lipa have also faced similar lawsuits.

Killa Cam is back!

No, not in the traditional Hip-Hop way in which you’d expect him to drop off a new album or mixtape, but in Kith’s new campaign for their Spring 2024 collection and truth be told, they couldn’t have chosen a better spokesperson for it. In the new spot for the collection, we find Cam’ron riding the subway before a gritty beat drops (produced by Swiss Beatz) and Cam goes into his bag to drop those clever OG bars that he’s been known to do.

“It’s the kid that be duckin’ all the award shows / for the Oscars, I might go in my wardrobe / I been lookin,’ a lot of y’all gettin’ foreclosed / Me, I got a crib that’s just-for-clothes / That room is sneakers, well that one is just some Pelle’s / The bathroom is all watch, the kitchen is just chinchillas / I mean, I could go on about the condos and the villas and the girls and the cars or how I grew up with the killas…”
Cam still got it man.

As for Kith’s Spring 2024 collection, that is set to drop on Friday (Feb. 9) and will feature some spiffy jackets and hoodies that will no doubt make you standout come Easter when we’re all known to breakout our flyest outfits. At least that what we used to do back in the day.

Unbeknownst to many, Cam’ron was actually supposed to be one of the first artists to be a part of The Notorious B.I.G.’s record label, Undeas, before Biggie’s untimely death.

Fast forward a few decades and a few record labels later, Cam’ron reflected on the first time he met the Hip-Hop legend/Icon and admits that he was actually starstruck by the OG King of New York. In the latest episode of It Is What It Is, Killa Cam reminisced about his first interaction with Biggie after his co-host Treasure “Stat Baby” Wilson spoke about LeBron admitting he felt like Michael Jordan was “Black Jesus” when he first met the NBA GOAT.

Though Cam wouldn’t go as far as to call Biggie any kind of iteration of “Jesus,” he did feel the man was a different kind of deity in the Hip-Hop game. “I’ma be totally honest with you, when Mase took me to Biggie Smalls’ house, I was like, ‘Yo. We did it,’” Cam’ron said. Back when Biggie was reigning supreme in the rap game, just seeing him out in the street would’ve been enough for any Hip-Hop head to feel blessed, but to meet him on a personal level would’ve been next level.
“You gotta realize, Mase already got songs with Biggie and they worked together,” Cam’ron continued. “But I really wasn’t going to the studio in the beginning because, you know, Mase had to get his feet in the door so I had to just stay home in the beginning a lot because it was his turn. And it wasn’t to bring the whole crew and bring everybody in the beginning. So I didn’t meet Biggie in the beginning.”
Though Cam didn’t get to meet the rap Gawd for a minute until Mase was finally a rap star in his own right, he finally got his moment and did what he was born to do, rap.
“When Mase sent me to Biggie Smalls’ house to rap for him, I acted like I’d been there a thousand times. No smiling, no handshakes, no ‘Yo, what’s up?’ Throw the beat on and I’ma rap — that was that.”
Likening that moment to LeBron meeting Jordan for the first time, Cam said, “Yeah, that was probably it for me.”
We feel you, Killa.
Check out Cam talk about meeting Biggie at the 22:30 mark below. Let us know your thoughts in the comments section.

Even though Cam’ron says he has matured he is the last rapper you want to play with. Killa has refused Melyssa Ford’s apology and dissed her in one fell swoop.

XXL Magazine is reporting that the Diplomats member isn’t trying to hear what the legendary video model has to say. On a recent episode of It Is What It Is Cam’ron recalled a time when he and his cohost MA$E were patronizing a local brothel in New York City. While the story was intended to shine a light on a funny moment between them during their younger years, Melyssa felt the “Horse & Carriage” rappers might have been engaging with an underaged female. “Is there a distinct possibility that there may have been underage girls in that wh*re house?” she asked on The Joe Budden Podcast.

Naturally the commentary got back to Cam’ron and he quickly adjusted his petty crown. “Be careful. I tell you one thing, I know a lot of people in ICE. Snipers, sharpshooters and I know people in ICE” he said alluding to Ford’s Canadian roots. “:I’ll have you escorted back across the border. Be careful. It scream desperation, but we’ll get a petition to get you out the country. Cut it out. I’ll get her out the country. I’ll make two calls, man.”

Melyssa Ford would go on to apologize to Cam’ron and MA$E on the following episode of TJBP saying “I apologize, I should never have made that insinuation,” Melyssa said. But it seems Cam felt the damage had already been done and went at her again on an Instagram post that featured the two taking a picture on what seems to be at a formal event. “I told the b**** ‘don’t touch me’ when we took this pic. F*** you and ya apology!! Stay strong and Stand on business!!” he wrote.

Earlier today (December 7) Cam’ron continued clapping back at her and shared screenshots of Instagram removing the above post about her because it had been flagged for bullying. Melyssa Ford has yet to comment further on the situation.
Update: The saga continues.
