Bunnie XO

Bunnie XO has always been an open book, and her latest TikTok shares insight to her traumatic upbringing.
The Dumb Blonde podcast host took part in a recent trend on the platform to the tune of Taylor Swift’s The Tortured Poets Department hit, “Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me?,” in which she sings, “You wouldn’t last an hour in the asylum where they raised me.” Participants of the trend share the various “asylums” they grew up experiencing.

In Bunnie’s version, she shows a photo of her teenage self before showing a picture of a church as the “asylum” that hurt her. “Pentacostals & Mental Hospitals,” she captioned the photos set, adding, “That pic was taken shortly after I left home at 14. Wait ’til y’all read my book.”

Last week, Bunnie got vulnerable on her podcast and discussed how online bullying and harsh comments have affected her husband, country superstar Jelly Roll. “My husband got off the internet because he is so tired of being bullied about his f–king weight,” she said on the podcast. “And that makes me want to cry, because he is the sweetest angel baby. My husband doesn’t show it to you guys, but I’m going to have a very vulnerable moment here. It hurts him.

“The internet can say whatever they f–king want about you and they say, ‘You’re a celebrity. You’re supposed to be able to handle it.’ No the f–k we’re not … Enough is enough,” she continued. “Don’t bully people, because you never know where they are mentally. There are a lot of people who are not as strong as me, that are on the internet and they don’t deserve to f–kin’ be bullied.”

The entrepreneur also called out internet trolls and bullies who try to intimidate her and her family. “I’m going to stand up for all the f–kin’ underdogs. You’re never going to bully me. You’re never going to lie about me or my family, and I will fight to the end,” she said. “I love it when people say, ‘Bunnie is a bad human. Just wait and you’ll see.’ I’ve been on the internet 15 f–kin’ years. When are they gonna see? I’m waiting. What you see is what you get with me. I don’t f–kin’ pretend to be something I’m not … all you gotta do is leave me and my family the f–k alone, and you won’t get called out.”

Earlier this week, Flavor Flav posted a video standing up for Jelly Roll after the country star’s wife, podcaster Bunnie XO, revealed that her husband had quit social media due to relentless bullying about his weight. But in a new interview, the “Need a Favor” singer explained that there’s actually a bit more to the story — although he’s very grateful to the DJ for coming to his defense.

“He’s a sweet human, man,” Jelly told Variety of Flav in an article published Friday (April 26). “His wife is just salt of the earth. I met their whole family again last night. I’ve gotten to really spend some time with Flav and his family, and they’re real, real salt of the earth.”

The three-time CMT Award-winner went on to say he’s “sure [he’ll] be back” on social media at some point, but for now, there’s “bigger fish to fry.”

“I probably shouldn’t elaborate on this because nobody on my team wants me to, but I don’t have a problem with social media,” he continued. “And it wasn’t just bullying that did it. It was not only the toxicity of social media, but the addiction of it. I was becoming too busy to waste hours of my life scrolling.”

“I can honestly say that I’ve been off social media for a few months now and I’ve never felt better or healthier mentally — never felt more clearheaded,” Jelly added. “I’ve also never had less of an idea what was going on in the world, but I tell you what, I’m definitely not coming back before the election. Bad joke.”

The interview comes a few days after Bunnie told fans on TikTok that Jelly “got off the internet because he is so tired of being bullied about his f–king weight.” She added, “My husband doesn’t show it to you guys, but I’m going to have a very vulnerable moment here … It hurts him.”

Shortly afterward, Flavor Flav addressed the haters with a video on X. “How dare y’all try to judge my man about his weight and his character,” the rapper said at the time. “All y’all trying to judge my boy Jelly Roll, I think y’all need to take a step back and judge yourself.”

The “Son of a Sinner” musician is currently gearing up to make his Stagecoach debut at this year’s festival. He’s slated to perform on the first day of the weekend-long event, which kicks off Friday and will also see sets from Morgan Wallen, Miranda Lambert, Eric Church, Willie Nelson, Post Malone, Hardy and more.

“I tell you what: I don’t know what every other artist does when they debut at Stagecoach, but I have taken it serious,” Jelly told Variety, noting that he wants to premiere some new material at the festival. “I rehearsed more for Stagecoach than I have any single event in my career.”

Bunnie XO has no time for haters. The Dumb Blonde podcast host took to TikTok to shut down trolls who have negative things to say about her and her husband Jelly Roll. “How we walk thru life together knowing we make ppl smile & others sooo mad,” she wrote over a video of the duo […]

Jelly Roll had a big night on the CMT Awards stage on Sunday (April 7), but behind the scenes, Bunnie XO — who is the country star’s wife — got her moment as well. Backstage at the show – where the “Son of a Sinner” singer scored three major wins – the model brushed shoulders with actor-singer Billy Bob Thornton, leaving her totally in awe.
In a clip Bunnie posted to TikTok one day after the ceremony, the camera follows her as she walks up to the actor and gives him a big hug. “Hi, I’m Jelly’s wife,” she introduces herself, to which Thornton says, “I know. How are you, honey?”

“Aw, it’s so nice to meet you,” the Goliath star adds.

“I almost fainted meeting Billy Bob Thornton because he knew who I was,” Bunnie wrote of the encounter, noting in her caption, “Ok this made me starstruck.”

That night, Jelly Roll took home video of the year, male video of the year and CMT performance of the year, all for his song “Need a Favor” — after which he closed out the show with a performance of “Halfway to Hell.” Later, Bunnie celebrated her husband’s achievements with an emotional post on Instagram, calling him “the maestro of misfits.”

“You are not an overnight success story, this has been 20 years in the making,” she added at the time. “Papabear your voice is an instrument of healing & the world is your choir. I LOVE YOU IN THIS LIFETIME & EVERY OTHER ONE IM LUCKY TO BE BY YOUR SIDE IN.”

As the Dumb Blonde Podcast host revealed in a TikTok a couple days before the CMTs, it’s a miracle she and Jelly even made it to the show at all. After their plane took flight en route to Austin, Texas, it suddenly turned around and made an emergency landing due to a malfunction, according to Bunnie.

“CMT i swear we’re coming 😭,” she captioned the clip.

Jelly Roll and Bunnie XO aren’t having the smoothest trip to Austin, Texas, ahead of this year’s Country Music Television Awards. In a TikTok posted Thursday (April 4) by the Dumb Blonde Podcast host — who wed the “Son of a Sinner” singer in 2016 — the couple and their posse experienced a major setback […]

Whether they are attending one of music’s most prestigious, all-genre awards ceremonies such as the Grammys, or a more laid-back, country music-focused affair such as the CMT Music Awards, one thing is certain: Jelly Roll and Bunnie XO always know how to shine on a red carpet. The couple — who married in 2016 — […]

Bunnie XO just might have gotten husband Jelly Roll in a little trouble after an appearance during the “Son of a Sinner’s” performance during Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo on Wednesday (March 6).
“Ya girl messed up,” Bunnie XO said in a TikTok video Thursday (March 7), detailing what happened. “Apparently, at the Houston Rodeo, you’re not supposed to cuss. You’re not supposed to say one bad word on stage, and if you do, they’ll turn the lights off, kick you out and never let you come back again. Nobody told me this.”

She went on to detail what happened when Jelly Roll invited her on stage in front of 75,000 people at NRG Stadium. “Husband and I had a conversation: ‘Baby are you coming onstage tonight?’ I said, ‘No. I’m already weird and awkward as it is … I’m not good with a microphone or with crowds and I stick to a script that we have done for the past frickin’ decade. Unbeknownst to me, my husband walks over in the middle of one of the songs and pulls me up onstage. And what do I do when he hands me the microphone? I hope you guys enjoy this little blunder over here.”

The video then goes to footage of the moment, as Jelly Roll brings Bunnie XO onstage and the crowd begins cheering when they notice her. The country star hands her the microphone, and asks her to greet the crowd. She then proceeds to shout into the microphone, “Houston, what the f–k is up?” further eliciting cheers from the audience. The video then zooms in on Jelly Roll’s face as he appears to turn slightly away from the camera. “The look of despair,” she captions the moment.

But the Dumb Blonde podcast host need not worry. A rep for the Houston Rodeo tells Billboard, “I can say that they are NOT banned and we would absolutely love to have both of them back. We are a family friendly show, but there isn’t a rule in place that bans anyone for cursing.”

Jelly Roll is far from the first country artist to have a cuss word fly during their set. Just days before, HARDY led the Rodeo Houston crowd in all chanting “F–K!” together during his own performance. He alluded to the assumed “no cussing” guideline by telling the crowd, “I figured if we just do a countdown and we all say it at the same time, maybe we’ll all just get in trouble together.”

The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo runs through Sunday, March 17, with Eric Church closing out the event. Upcoming performers include Major Lazer, Lainey Wilson, Zac Brown Band and more.

In Bunnie XO’s own words, she’s an open book. The Dumb Blonde podcast host is explaining to fans why she just retired from sex work by shutting down her OnlyFans last year, after her celebration of the one-year anniversary of her retirement apparently left some followers scratching their heads.
“A lot of ppl seem to be confused as to how I just retired from SW last year because I’ve been married for 7 years lol.. so here’s the answer,” Bunnie, who is married to country star Jelly Roll, began a Wednesday (March 6) Facebook post.

“When I married J I refused to give up my independence & rely solely on him,” she shared, noting that she has always worked and made her own money. “He knew how important it was to me to make my own money. But he did always say, ‘One day baby you won’t have to do this anymore.’”

Bunnie noted that she started the Bunnie XO brand in 2018 — two years after she and the “Son of a Sinner” singer wed — with the money she made on her own, and not a dime of the country star’s coffers. Two years after that, she not only “stopped seeing clients” and having sugar daddies, but also launched her OnlyFans account, which Bunnie said made her millions of dollars. “It was crazy the amount of money that site made me in such a short time.”

Fast forward another two years to 2022, and her brand — which features merch such as sweatshirts, T-shirts, caps and more — started making just as much if not more than her sex work, Bunnie revealed. “So I couldn’t justify still having that part of my life when the new brand I created was thriving so much.”

But there was another reason she gave up sex work, the entertainer shared. “I also didn’t want to be the only wife in the country music scene whose butthole was on the internet,” she wrote, adding a laughing-crying emoji. “But my husband never once asked me to give up anything in my life.”

“So I decided to retire & 100% immerse myself into the Bunnie Xo brand in 2023,” she concluded her post. “Best decision I ever made. The rest is history baby!”

The Facebook post that kicked off the fan confusion had been made earlier that same day. In it, Bunnie celebrated the anniversary of her shutting down what she called her “spicy site,” telling followers: “I was SO scared to let go of that part of my life & leave behind the money I was making – wasn’t sure how I’d make up that part of my business. But I had faith & let God have it & he made sure I made it back 10 fold.”

While she may have given up sex work, Bunnie XO hasn’t been shy about getting sexy in her new projects. In December, she dropped a racy rap video for Christmas titled “12 Days of Rizzmas.” In it, she rhymes about female empowerment while also getting a bit NSFW in the lyrics.

“He was like, ‘Baby, this is so good,’” Bunnie shared with Music Mayhem of Jelly’s reaction to her video. “I don’t let him in my creative process or even tell him what I’m doing until it’s done. I never ask for his help in any of these songs because it challenges me more to try to make it so dope that he’s wowed.”
