The Niggler, aka Bishop Lamor Whitehead, is going to prison for a long time.
NYC Mayor Eric Adams’ mentee, allegedly Bishop Lamor Whitehead, will head to prison for nine years.
Whitehead’s prison sentence is a verdict of him hoodwinking and bamboozling a parishioner’s mother out of her life savings, plus other scams.
The decision comes after Judge Lorna Schofield listened to testimony from the victims of Whitehead’s scamming and from the “Bling Bishop” himself, who took a page out of rapper The Game’s book, namedropping everyone he allegedly dealt with.
Per The Daily News:
Manhattan federal court Judge Lorna Schofield handed the term after hearing from financially destroyed victims and Whitehead himself, who namedropped a laundry list of city and state officials he’s dealt with, including the mayor, state Attorney General Letitia James, Brooklyn District Attorney General Eric Gonzalez, his predecessor, the late Ken Thompson, NYPD Chief of Department Jeffrey Maddrey and others, none of whom were in attendance.
“I don’t see any remorse for your conduct,” Judge Schofield said, describing the evidence as “frankly overwhelming.”
Lamor Whitehead’s Reckoning Comes After A Jury Hit With A Guilty Verdict In March
A jury hit Whitehead, the pastor of the Leaders of Tomorrow International Ministries in Canarsie, Brooklyn, with a guilty verdict for five counts, including wire fraud, attempted extortion, lying to the FBI, and other charges from three different schemes in March.
Prosecutors successfully argued during the trial that Whitehead abused the trust of his loyal followers, defrauding them out of tens of thousands of dollars by dangling his ties to Mayor Adams.
Manhattan US Attorney Damian Williams said in a statement:
“Lamore Whitehead is a con man who stole millions of dollars in a string of financial. frauds and even stole from one of his parishioners. He lied to federal agents and again to the court during his trial. Today’s sentence puts an end to Whitehead’s various schemes and reflects this office’s commitment to bring accountability to those who abuse their positions of trust.”
Social Media Also Wants Eric Adams In Prison
The reactions to the news of Whitehead going to prison for nine years are pouring in.
Of course, many are clowing the Bling Bishop, but many of the reactions want NYC Mayor Eric Adams to end up behind bars.
“DO @NYCMAYOR NEXT PLEASE AND THANK YOU @FBI,” one user on X wrote.
Mayor Adams was not accused of any wrongdoing during Whitehead’s trial, but Mayor Mixxy does have his own issues he needs to worry about and could face some serious jail time, according to some legal experts, if the FBI investigation he is currently under turns up damning evidence.
The gallery below shows more reactions to Lamor Whitehead heading to prison for nine years.

They say God don’t like ugly, and it looks like Bishop Lamor Whitehead will have to pay for his sins.
Bishop Lamor Whitehead, aka the “Bling Bishop,” is looking at some serious jail time after he was found guilty of wire fraud, attempted extortion, and lying to the FBI in Manhattan Federal Court.
Per Gothamist:
After just a few hours of deliberation, the jury convicted “Bling Bishop” Lamor Whitehead, 46, of five counts, agreeing that he had used his position of power and influence to swindle hundreds of thousands of dollars from people who trusted him.
Whitehead could face up to 45 years in prison.
A Breakdown of Bishop Lamor Whitehead’s Scammy Ways
Prosecutors convinced a jury that Whitehead deceived one of the members of his flock’s mother to give him $90,000 out of her retirement savings, promising to buy her a house and remodel it so she could move in, the website reports.
According to court documents, the Canal Street shopping pastor never bought the house and used the money to fund his lavish lifestyle.
Prosecutors also made the case that Whitehead swindled a Bronx businessman into giving him $5,000 and then an additional $500,000, claiming he could get him favors from Mayor Mixxy, aka Mayor Eric Adams.
The current New York Mayor does not deny dealing with Whitehead, but there is no proof that he had anything to do with any of the Bling Bishop’s scams.
Besides, Adam has his own issues to worry about, with several of his aides having their homes raided by the Feds.
Court documents also say Whitehead lied to lenders about his net worth to secure a personal loan and lied to the FBI, claiming he had only one phone when, according to prosecutors, he had two.
Following the verdict, Whitehead’s attorney, Dawn Florio, had nothing to say when pressed for comment.
Of course, Whitehead did, taking to Instagram to drop a video from his luxury vehicle, writing in the caption for the post, “This Wasn’t About Me…. I was not going to be an informant for the FBI against NYC Mayor Eric Adams.
We Will Be Appealing This Verdit”
We will continue to monitor this situation.

Canal Street shopper and real-like scamming villain Bishop Lamor Whitehead’s fraud trial has begun, and the allegations coming out are very eyebrow-raising.
The “Bling Bishop,” who became a household name after thieves relieved him of his jewelry during a live stream of his church service, could be in serious trouble if these accusations about him are true.
The New York Daily News reports that Whitehead allegedly abused the trust of members of his flock and lied about getting “the key to the city” from Mayor Mixxy, aka Eric Adams, to make his pockets fatter and fill his closet with more than likely fugazi designer clothing like Loius Vuitton according to federal prosecutors.
A Breakdown of The N*ggler’s Fraudulent Activity Per The New York Daily News:
“During this trial, you’ll learn that the defendant was trusted by many in his community. He was the bishop of a small church in Brooklyn and a self-described businessman. He was a friend to the mayor of New York City,” Assistant U.S. Attorney Jessica Greenwood said in Manhattan Federal Court.
“The defendant abused that trust by lying again and again. He lied about how much money he had. He lied about his business plans. And he lied about having influence with powerful people. All with the goal of getting money and property to fund his extravagant lifestyle.”
“The defendant convinced this woman, who had spent her career working as a nurse, to give him $90,000 of her life savings,” Greenwood said. “He promised to use the money to buy a fixer-upper home that he would renovate for her to live in. And she believed the defendant — a man, who by that time, had become a mentor and spiritual adviser to her son.”
Greenwood alleged Whitehead instead spent the cash on himself, including splurging on designer clothing and a BMW payment.
“The victim never got her house, and she never got her money back.”
Other Charges
In other related charges to the December 2022 case, Whitehead allegedly drew up fake bank statements to secure a $250,000 loan, claiming he had millions in a bank account that only had $6.
In another charge, he threatened the owner of a Bronx body shop, Brandon Belmonte, and allegedly tried to extort him for $5,000 following a repair job.
Whitehead also tried to get Belmonte to put his name on a $500,000 real estate deal, claiming he could get favors from Mayor Adams to make them millions.
The 47-year-old “religious figure” is being accused of wire fraud, extortion, and related offenses and is looking at a decades-long prison sentence.
He has pleaded not guilty to all charges. His attorney, Dawn Florio, asked the jurors to reserve judgment until they saw all the evidence and blamed the parishioner’s misfortunes on her son.
If this is all true, this guy sounds like the ultimate scumbag.
Remember, God doesn’t like ugly.

One of the men who allegedly robbed egregiously gaudy Brooklyn pastor Bishop Lamor Whitehead was killed.
Spotted on News 4 New York, one of the alleged suspects in the 2022 robbery of the “Bling Bishop” was shot and killed by US Marshals in New Jersey during a standoff at a hotel.
Per News 4 New York:
Shamar Leggette, 41, was inside the MHO Inn and Suites on US-1 in Monmouth Junction when US Marshals attempted to arrest him, sources said.
A woman inside the hotel surrendered to authorities, but amid negotiations with federal agents, senior law enforcement sources tell NBC New York Leggette came out shooting at deputy marshals and they returned fire killing him.
The New Jersey State Attorney General’s Office is investigating. South Brunswick police officers were also on the scene.
Leggette and other armed suspects robbed the flashy pastor that social media has hilarious named “The Niggler” and made off with a woman’s wedding ring, earrings, Rolex and Cavalier watches, a man’s gold chain and wedding ring, a Cuban chain, a diamond and emerald cross, and other church item during the robbery that went down a live stream church service.
Two men were already arrested in connection with the armed robbery, and a third suspect was never apprehended, according to police.
According to sources, Leggette was also wanted for additional crimes in Queens and Rhode Island.
The Bling Bishop’s Legal Issues
Yes, Whitehead was a victim of crime, but he also had significant legal issues. In December 2022, he was arrested by the feds on extortion and fraud charges.
The flagrantly tacky deliverer of God’s word allegedly defrauded members of his congregation and was also charged with lying to the FBI.
Welp.

Gaudy Brooklyn Pastor Bishop Lamor Whitehead got some justice when one of the men who robbed him during a livestream service pleaded guilty.
Spotted on Gothamist, Say-Quan Pollack, 25, pleaded guilty to a federal robbery charge for stealing Bishop Lamor Whitehead’s jewelry during a church service stream.
The incident happened in July 2022, and the judge will sentence Pollack in the coming months, the website reports.
Per Gothamist:
Pollack swiveled in his chair and occasionally rubbed his face during the proceedings, which lasted about half an hour. At times, Pollack asked Judge William F. Kuntz II to repeat his questions before he responded with a “yes” or a “no.”
“I participated in a robbery,” he said after pleading guilty. “I took another person’s property with a threat.”
He said he went to school through eighth grade and received a high school equivalency degree in jail.
The robbery went down as Whitehead preached at the Leaders of Tomorrow International Church in Canarsie last year.
According to prosecutors, three men, dressed in all black, wearing masks with guns drawn, entered the church, forcing the pastor to drop to his knees.
Whitehead could be heard saying, “Yo, alright, alright, alright.”
Police later arrested Pollack and Juwan Anderson. Pollack was supposed to plead guilty to the crime earlier this year but backed out of the deal he made with prosecutors earlier this year.
Despite Pollack pleading guilty, Anderson has done the opposite and maintains his innocence. The third man involved in the robbery has not been found.
Bishop Lamor Whitehead Also Has His Problems With The Law
As for the good Bishop, the man who says he is a “mentee” of the op, aka NYC Mayor Eric Adams, has also found himself in trouble with the law.
Whitehead was indicted in federal court in Manhattan for allegedly stealing $90,000 of retirement savings from a church member.
He also got called out for using homophobic and fatphobic slurs.
That’s not something a good Christian would do.

Another suspect is wanted in the live stream robbery of the N*ggler, aka Bishop Lamor Whitehead.
Spotted on the Daily News, Ex-con Shamar Leggette, 41, is one of three men wanted in connection with relieving Whitehead and his wife of $1,000,000 worth of jewelry during Brooklyn Sunday sermon, the NYPD said on Wednesday.
Per the Daily News:
Ex-con Shamar Leggette, 41, is one of three men who pulled a gun on Whitehead, his wife, and their child during the daring July 24 heist inside a rented-out Canarsie workspace the bishop uses for his Leaders of Tomorrow International Ministry, according to cops.
Leggette has done two stints in prison for robbery, attempted murder, and weapons possession and was released from the Fishkill Correctional Facility in upstate New York in January 2022 — just six months before the high-stakes robbery.
He’s currently on parole until February 2024.
According to authorities, Leggette’s other accomplices, Juwan Anderson, and Say-Quan Pollack, got cuffs put on them weeks after the robbery and are looking at federal robbery charges for taking the Rolls Royce driving pastors jewels while speaking the lord’s word.
It was once speculated that the robbery was an inside job, but a source with knowledge of the situation told the Daily News that Whitehead was not involved in setting himself up.
The NYPD believes the sketchy pastor and his wife were targets because he loves to flaunt his jewelry during his sermons.
Local law enforcement is looking for the public’s help, releasing a mugshot of Leggette Wednesday in hopes someone will identify him.
Bishop Lamor Whitehead Has His Own Legal Issues He Has To Worry About
Even though Whitehead is not a suspect in his own robbery, he still faces serious legal issues. He was arrested earlier this year on criminal fraud charges after filing fake bank records so he could take out a $250K loan plus a $1.3 million mortgage to fund his purchase of his six-bedroom Paramus, N.J. mansion, according to the feds.
