She’s so lucky! She’s a star! Besides their obvious physical resemblance, Sweeney knows the struggle of how someone is portrayed to the media can be completely different to who she actually is. She’d be the perfect candidate to portray Britney from the lens of empathy and kindness, which is all the pop star asks for.

Jamie Lynn Spears played by Millie Bobby Brown

While Millie Bobby Brown has expressed that playing Britney in a biopic would be her dream role, she has the acting chops to take on Jamie Lynn and bring the depth to the sisters’ tumultuous relationship.

Lynne Spears played by Sandra Bullock

Similar to Brown, Bullock is an acting pro. The star can easily channel the nuances in Spears’ relationship with her mother — and probably win an Oscar for it.

Jamie Spears played by Alec Baldwin

As much as this is an unfortunate casting for any actor, you can’t deny the resemblance between Baldwin and Spears’ estranged father.

OK, we know that Aguilera is a character in the film. However, instead of playing herself, it would be interesting to see Xtina take on a different relationship with Spears by portraying her mentor and collaborator, Madonna. She certainly has the musical chops for it!

Michael Caine is great at taking on an uplifting role, and it would be heartwarming to see him play Elton John, who worked with Britney on her first post-conservatorship single, “Hold Me Closer.”

Diane Sawyer’s infamous interview with Britney Spears  led the pop star to burst into tears over media scrutiny. Katherine Heigl never shies away from a difficult role, and will capture the journalist’s conversation with Spears flawlessly.

Queen Latifah is a fierce advocate for women in the entertainment industry, so she’d be a perfect fit for Oprah’s empowering interview with Spears.

For Britney’s supportive pal Paris Hilton, Elle Fanning would be a great choice for the best friend role. Plus, she’d look incredible in Hilton’s Y2K style.
