Tyler, the Creator’s ‘Like Him’ Climbs the TikTok Billboard Top 50 | Billboard News

Tyler, the Creator and 21 Savage have entered the top 10, but can either claim No. 1 from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs?

Tetris Kelly:
We’ve got two new debuts and an artist’s first top 10 hit on this week’s chart. The Yeah Yeah Yeahs continue to dominate for a fifth week with “Maps.” It takes the top spot on the TikTok Billboard Top 50 for the chart posting Nov. 7. Our first new track of the week is 21 Savage’s “Runnin,” which debuts at No. 5. It’s tied to a trend where users misdirect their followers by giving them a little info in a slideshow and ends with them proving someone wrong. Debuting at No. 6 is Tyler, the Creator’s “Like Him” from his Billboard 200 No. 1 album Chromakopia. And our final new hit in the top 10 is “We Bring the Boom.” Social media father-and-son duo AJ & Big Justice climb 15 to 7, giving them their first top 10 hit.

‘Bluey: Rug Island’ Soundtrack Debuts at No. 1 on Kid Albums Chart

Bluey: Rug Island bows atop Billboard’s Kid Albums chart (dated Nov. 9), powered by vinyl sales of the set. The soundtrack was released Oct. 25 and is the companion to the hit animated series Bluey. The project includes music from all three seasons of the show, which premiered in 2018. In the United States, Bluey airs through Disney’s television and streaming services.

Bluey: Rug Island takes its name from the 10th episode of the second season of Bluey. The music on the album was created largely composed by Joff Bush, who also produced the set.

Kid Albums ranks the week’s top-selling kid albums in the U.S. according to Luminate. The latest chart reflects the tracking week ending Oct. 31.

Trending on Billboard

Nearly 60% of Bluey: Rug Island’s 3,000 first-week sales came from vinyl purchases, with the set made available on wax in a sunset orange-colored edition or as a picture disc. It was also available to buy as a CD and as a digital download.

Elsewhere on the Kid Albums chart, Vince Guaraldi has three of the top five titles, as a trio of his chart-topping TV soundtracks dot the region: A Charlie Brown Christmas (falling 1-2), It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown (holding at No. 3) and A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving (2-5). Meanwhile, Disney’s former No. 1, the rock compilation A Whole New Sound, is steady at No. 4.

With the Nov. 9 chart reflecting the week ending on Halloween (Oct. 31), two more spooky-sounding titles rank in the top 10 in addition to The Great Pumpkin, and both are from Kidz Bop Kids. The 2022 Kidz Bop Halloween album re-enters at No. 7 (a new peak) while Halloween Party! slips 9-10.

After Donald Trump won the 2024 U.S. presidential election, Cardi B, 50 Cent and more within the hip-hop community have reacted. Keep watching to see what they had to say.

Donald J. Trump has been re-elected as America’s 47th president, and the hip-hop community is reacting. Cardi B posted on her IG story, “I hate y’all bad.” 50 Cent posted on his page, “I don’t care how the fight goes, I’m leaving with the winner sh*t. I still don’t know what’s going on. Congratulations!” Joe Budden took it to Twitter saying, “If Trump wins, I’m egging Cyber Trucks.” And over at ‘The Breakfast Club,’ Charlamagne Tha God had this to say.

Donald Trump is now all of our president again. I don’t want to fight anyone. I don’t want to argue with anyone, because at the end of the day we are all Americans.

We’re here with Grammy-winning dance legend Steve Angello. You may know him from Swedish House Mafia, but he has plenty of solo work and more to come. Your new single “Hooligans” is out now. 

Steve Angello:
I was playing Coachella, and I needed that energy and that old ravy kind of Hoover sound. I’m getting technical, but like the Hoover soundy kind of ravy sound. And then, yeah, it was like, straight made for the show. It was to get an effect. Vocals was chopped up for the light production. So it was like, super Steve Angello show music, you know. And then I decided to put it out.

And that was Coachella in 2022.

Yes.

I was there. Great show. 

It was a good show. It was fun. 

Very fun. And you teamed up with fellow Swedish House Mafia member Sebastian Ingrosso for “Skip.” Would you say those songs have a similar vibe?

Yeah. I mean, it’s like that clubby energy, right? It’s like the ravy clubby, gritty, little darker. It’s that energy.

Why did the two of you link up for “Skip” instead of it being a full Swedish House Mafia track?

I don’t remember the process of it. I think we just, you know, studio one night made a song because we’ve, you know, the history of us. Me and Ax used to do songs back in early 2000s like we’ve always done together and all three and mix and match, you know?

Young Miko:

Hello, family, how are you? My name is Young Miko and today we are going to go “Behind the Photo.” with Billboard. Here we are on the Jimmy Fallon show with Feid. We sang “Offline” together. It was my first time at the Jimmy Fallon show, so it was very special and it was super fun, a super nice experience. I’m glad I was able to share it with Feid. I mean, when I was a little girl,  I loved to put on band-aids of any character. I think they were like Elmo or from The Simpsons. I thought it was cool to be able to wear colors all over the place and when we made the track “curita” on the album ‘att.’ this was the first thing that popped in my head and I shared it on socials because… I’m here with Mauro, as you can see, my better half, time to make music. This is my brother, I don’t know what would become of me without him. We were in Los Angeles and we were working on ‘att.’ in fact. One of those wonderful days with him in the studio. This was the first time I posted a photo with my somewhat copper hair. Someone Published some lyrics of a song that says: “The red hair with The Rolling Stones T Shirt.”
