Queen Bey used One/Size ‘Til Dawn Mattifying Waterproof Setting Spray from Patrick Starrr’s makeup collection. Celebrity makeup artist Rokael Lizama — whose clients include Beyoncé, Demi Lovato, Ariana Grande, Kim Kardashian and Nicole Scherzinger — tagged Starrr in an Instagram post over the weekend captioned in part, “The elements, rain or shine did her thing!!!” adding “@ @patrickstarrr I Love You!! Your spray helped us through the show!!! @onesize.”
Starrr shared the exciting news on TikTok. “Her makeup artist Rokael , who I’ve known for years, is her makeup artists on tour,” Starrr explained in the video posted Monday (Aug. 7). “Last night at the concert it rained and he texted me today at 2:14 p.m. ‘OneSize Spray come through!’ And I was like what?!”
The second night of Beyoncé’s back-to-back shows in Washington, D.C., hit a delay due to severe thunderstorms. The Grammy winner paid $100,000 to extend the D.C. Metro hours to ensure that fans made it home safely. The Renaissance Tour rolls into Charlotte on Wednesday (Aug. 9), followed by three shows in Atlanta starting on Friday (Aug. 11).
According to the product description, OneSize waterproof setting spray keeps your makeup in place for up to 16 hours (and juding by Queen Bey’s Instagram photos, it clearly works in a rainstorm). It features notes of green tea, cucumber and citrus and melon and gives off a “blurred matte finish.”
The setting spray, which retails for $17-$32, is currently sold out at Sephora and OneSize Beauty.com, but it’s available at Amazon (at a higher price). Besides setting spray, the One/Size also carries setting powder, mascara, waterproof matte primer, concealer and more.
