Chris Martin and Co. made history at Glastonbury Festival on Saturday by becoming the first band to headline the event for a fifth time, besting the Cure’s old mark of four.
Meanwhile, Charli XCX continues to climb the charts with “girl, so confusing,” entering at No. 28, boosted by a viral remix featuring Lorde. This gives Charli her 17th U.K. top 40 hit and Lorde her fifth. Jordan Adetunji’s “KEHLANI” becomes the Belfast alt-hip-hop star’s first-ever Top 40 entry, landing at No. 29.
Post Malone and Blake Shelton’s collaboration “Pour Me A Drink” debuts at No. 34, marking Posty’s 23rd U.K. top 40 single and Shelton’s first.

Finally, North Carolina country star Luke Combs bags his fourth top 40 LP with Fathers & Sons (Sony Music CG), his fifth studio album. It’s new at No. 14. Combs’ career tally includes U.K. top 10 spots for 2022’s Growin’ Up (No. 9) and 2023’s Gettin’ Old (No. 5).

Ariana Grande previously set the mark when, in February 2019, she locked up the top 2 spots with “7 rings” and “break up with your girlfriend, i’m bored,” respectively, at age 25 years, 7 months and 20 days. Carpenter also ties-up the top 2 on Australia’s ARIA Chart.
Meanwhile, Luton, England singer-songwriter Myles Smith grabs a career-best with “Stargazing” (RCA), up 7-6.
As Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour cruises into the U.K., the U.S. pop music superstar’s music — predictably — climbs the U.K. charts. Finally, as the ball rolls on the UEFA European Football Championship, one evergreen hit makes its move: Baddiel, Skinner & Lightning Seeds’ 1996 anthem “Three Lions (Football’s Coming Home)” (via Epic). The chant-ready song is back in the top 40, at No. 32. “Three Lions” typically returns to the chart when England competes in major international tournaments. The single topped the chart for two separate one-week runs in 1996 to coincide with that year’s European Championship tournament, then a 1998 update for the World Cup reigned for three weeks. Powered by England’s run to the World Cup semi-finals, “Three Lions” returned to No. 1 in 2018.

Hailing from Columbus, OH, Twenty One Pilots now boast four top 10s on the ARIA Chart, including 2018 leader Trench, plus 2015’s Blurryface (No. 7 peak) and Scaled and Icy (No. 3) in 2021.
Clancy is also on track for the U.K. crown, having led the midweek tally ahead of Paul Weller’s 66 and Taylor Swift’s The Tortured Poets Department.

U.K. heavy rock band Bring Me The Horizon enjoy a top 10 start in Australia with Post Human: Nex Gen (RCA/Sony), their ninth studio album. It’s new at No. 4 on the ARIA Chart, published Friday, May 31. The fresh release is the second in the four-album Post Human series. The first, Post Human: Survival Horror, peaked at No. 3 in 2020. The Sheffield, England act has led the national chart on four occasions: There Is A Hell Believe Me I’ve Seen It, There Is A Heaven Let’s Keep It A Secret (in 2010), Sempiternal (2013), That’s The Spirit (2015) and Amo (2019).
