It seems Rod Wave might have the fight of his life upon him. He was recently arrested on some serious weapons charges.

Variety magazine reports that the St. Petersburg, Florida, native got into some trouble Sunday, March 31. Local badges claim he had involvement in a shooting in Manatee County that left four individuals injured. According to a statement released by the police: “about 11 p.m., officers responded to shots fired in a large group of people gathered outside of 400 49 St. S. At this time it appears a group of men got into a verbal argument and exchanged gunfire outside of the location” the document reads.

Rod Wave was arrested in connection to the incident and charged on weapons charges including possession of the ammunition. His lawyers quickly refuted the claims on an Instagram post. “Rod was arrested and detained with absolutely no evidence of wrongdoing. The police claimed he was a felon in possession of ammunition” the caption read. “Not only was he not in possession of ammunition, a basic check of public records would have easily demonstrated to the police that he was not a convicted felon. The prosecutor and the judge immediately agreed that the evidence did not support the charge and set him free the same day.”

This was not the first time Rod Wave has been in trouble with the law. Back in 2022, he was arrested for allegedly strangling his ex-girlfriend. In an exclusive statement to Rolling Stone magazine his lawyer Bradford Cohen claimed it was a misunderstanding. Rod Wave has yet to publicly comment on the weapons charges.

Kodak Black was back in court for his probation violation. His attorney has requested that he be sent to a drug treatment facility.

NBC Miami is reporting that the Pompano Beach, Florida native appeared in federal court on Tuesday, December 19. He was arrested on Thursday, December 7 after local police found what they believe to be cocaine in his luxury SUV.

Since then he has been held at a federal detention center. During the hearing his lawyer Bradford Cohen admitted that the “Super Gremlin” rapper does have a substance abuse problem that he picked up when he served time in prison back in 2020. He then requested for permission that Kodak Black be allowed to attend a 90-day drug treatment program in Arizona.
According to The Miami Herald the presiding Federal Magistrate Judge Jacqueline Becerra denied the request saying “If you’re buying drugs or using drugs, you’re a danger to the community”. Assistant U.S. Attorney Bruce Brown also thought sending Kodak Black away was a bad idea saying “If we let him out today to go out to Arizona, we don’t know what’s going to happen”.
The MC’s legal issues stem from 2019 where Kodak Black caught a charge for lying on a background check when he purchased guns from a weapons store in Hialeah. He will remain at the Miami Federal Correction Center until further notice.

Things aren’t looking good for rappers Polo G and Trench Baby as authorities executed a search warrant and uncovered some pretty damaging evidence that could put them behind bars for quite some time.

According to Deadline, police arrested both Polo G and Baby Trench after executing a raid on Trench’s Chatsworth, Calif. mansion Wednesday (Aug. 23). What authorities ended up discovering on the premises was a illegal short-barrel rifle for which Polo G (whose real name is Taurus Bartlett) was taken into custody. His younger brother, Baby Trench (Taurean Bartlett), was also taken into custody as he was wanted for a robbery he allegedly took part in.
Deadline reports:

Trench Baby was released late Wednesday after posting $100,000 bail. Polo G was released on his own recognizance, according to Los Angeles County jail records.
Trench Baby has a Sept. 13 court date. Polo G is scheduled to appear on Sept. 12.
Polo G is represented by attorney Bradford Cohen, who has represented rappers Draze, Lil Wayne and Kodak Black. It is unclear who represents Trench Baby.
Taurus Bartlett, performing as Polo G, is a Columbia Records artist. His 2019 debut, “Die a Legend,” went double-platinum. The following year, his second album, “Goat,” had 10 songs chart in Billboard’s Hot 100.
No word on what kind of time the two men are facing, but expect Polo and Baby Trench to speak on the situation in their music in the near future.

Boosie Badazz is having a bad day. The Baton Rouge rapper was in court for a hearing—where charges were dropped—but shortly after that case wrapped in his favor, he was arrested by the Feds.

TMZ first reported that Boosie was in court on Wednesday (June 14) for an ongoing gun case. Apparently, said case was dismissed. However, soon after Boosie was pinched for another pending, as of yet unknown, legal issue.

According to the San Diego County District Attorney’s office, federal agents took the opinionate rapper into custody when he was just outside the courtroom.
Reportedly, the gun case involved a traffic stop last month, when cop founds two handguns in the rapper’s car. We’re guess said firearms were legal and registered since said charges were dropped.
This story is developing.

Nas EBK’s legal woes just took a turn for the worse. The rapper was recently arrested for second-degree murder in New York City.

As spotted on Complex the South Bronx native has been booked on some serious charges. Last week he was picked up for his alleged involvement in a shooting that occurred on Thursday, February 9 in the Times Square district of midtown Manhattan. Police say the artist, born Nasir Valenzuela, shot Idrissa Siby in the chest after a supposed argument. He was picked up by police Friday, March 10.

This is the second time this year the rapper has been in trouble with the law. Back in February EBK was arrested by U.S. Marshalls for making terrorist threats during a YouTube skit with fellow prankster Bubba100x; the same jokester who tried to get too familiar with Maino. In the video, Nas EBK was seen approaching Shoprite shoppers and asking weird questions and responding back by screaming. The goof got intense when he pulled a hat off an employee and eventually pulled out a knife and said “walk toward me again and I’ll violate you”.

Nas EBK has denied committing the murder via an Instagram post. “INNOCENT!! ONLY GOD CAN JUDGE ME !!! BE HOME SOON !! FREE DA GUYS !!” the caption read. He is currently being held at Bergen County Jail.
