The blonde-haired “Positions” singer is in the midst of filming the highly-anticipated movie adaptation of Wicked, in which she plays Glinda the Good Witch. “Life is beautiful and surreal. I’m learning so much and I’m growing so much right now and I’m working my a– off and I’m enjoying and savoring every moment of it,” she shared of her current feelings, putting together a cut-crease eye look using her Midnight Shadows eyeshadow palette in the shade Smitten Kitten.

“It’s weird because it’s exhausting but I’m not tired,” she added of the filming process. “I will do it again right now. Every single thing — I don’t want to stop, I don’t want to do the weekends, I don’t want to go home, I don’t want to leave ever. So, Cynthia [Erivo] and I are — this is the phrase we keep saying — husks. We are shells of people, and I’m savoring every single second humanly possible.”

And yes, Glinda will soon be seen wearing some R.E.M. Beauty products, even though Grande told her makeup artist that she shouldn’t feel pressure to wear makeup from her line. “I don’t want to go into this with any rules or requests,” she explained. “I want us to find [Glinda] from the ground up. I just want to sit down and let you play and we’ll find her together. I wanted to be a new girl.”

Grande even addressed some of the unreleased demos that have been spreading on TikTok, as well as the leaked news that R.E.M. is working on foundations. “You guys have heard every bad song and bulls— demo I’ve ever made,” she said. “Hilarious! It’s impossible to keep things from you. You gotta take some swings and misses.”

She also shared the full product rundown on the Instagram post, which she captioned “When your gloss matches your wings.”

The singer is currently across the pond filming a silver-screen adaptation of the Broadway musical Wicked, featuring a star-studded cast that includes Cynthia Erivo, Michelle Yeoh, Jeff Goldblum, Kristin Chenoweth, Bowen Yang and Jonathan Bailey. The musical, directed by Jon Chu, is slated to hit theaters sometime next year.

In other Grande news, the Grammy winner took to TikTok on Tuesday (April 11) to address body-shaming comments that she’s received.

“I don’t do this often,” Grande began. “I’m not good at it, and I don’t like it, but I just wanted to address your concerns about my body and talk a little about what it means to be a person with a body and to be paid such close attention to. I think we should be gentler and less comfortable commenting on people’s body’s, no matter what. Healthy, unhealthy, big, small, sexy, not-sexy –- we just shouldn’t. We should really work towards not doing that as much.”

Grande went on to open up about some of the older photos that fans have been comparing her current body to. “There are many different kinds of beautiful. There are many different ways to look healthy and beautiful. I know personally, for me, the body that you’ve been comparing my current body to was the unhealthiest version of my body.”

“I was on a lot of anti-depressants and drinking on them and eating poorly and at the lowest point of my life when I looked the way you consider my ‘healthy.’ But that in fact wasn’t my healthy, I know I shouldn’t have to explain this but I do feel like maybe having an openness and vulnerability, something good might come from it, I don’t know. But that’s the first thing, healthy can look different. The second thing is you never know what someone’s going through, so even if you are coming from a loving place and a caring place, that person probably is working on it or has a support system that they are working on it with. You never know, so be gentle with each other and with yourselves.”

In closing Grande added, “And thirdly, I just wanted to extend some love your way and tell you that you’re beautiful. No matter what phase you’re in.”

The song reigns was originally released on The Weeknd’s album Starboy in 2016, before it was revived thanks in part to TikTok, which helped spark new promotion to radio and streaming services.
The collaboration marks each artist’s seventh Hot 100 No. 1 – and their second together, after “Save Your Tears” led in 2021 for two weeks.

As if Bad Bunny wasn’t charming enough, he had fans swooning with his adorable Carpool Karaoke segment on The Late Late Show With James Corden.

The Puerto Rican superstar and the talk show host drove around Los Angeles singing along with a number of his own hits including “Dakiti,” “Tití Me Pregunto” and “I Like It.” Bunny also jammed along to two covers: Harry Styles‘ “As It Was” and Ariana Grande‘s Zedd collaboration, “Break Free.”

When the 2014 My Everything song began to play, Bad Bunny gets visibly excited, and begins passionately singing along. “This is the English song that I most know the lyrics,” the 29-year-old explained. “I listen to English music, I like it but I never –” he says before hilariously cutting himself off to belt the chorus as loud as he can.

Grande herself saw the clip on Thursday (March 16) and even reposted it to her Instagram Stories, along with a series of crying face emojis. See her post before it disappears here.

Elsewhere in the 15-minute video, the hip-hopper also discussed his love of drawing and wrestling. He demonstrated it, at one point enticing Corden into the ring with WWE wrestler Rey Mysterio.

The Weeknd and Ariana Grande aren’t done working together, and the superstar duo teased fans on social media on Tuesday (Feb. 21) with what seems to be a remix of the 2016 Starboy hit “Die For You.”

“Wrote and recorded a verse for my friend after a 14 hour day on set. This certain exception had to be made….” Grande captioned a short video, in which she’s seen laying down harmonies and cutting vocal takes for a track, after a day of filming the movie adaptation of the musical Wicked, in which she plays Glinda the Good Witch. “You know what I’m thinkin’, see it in your eyes / You hate that you want me, hate it when you cry,” Grande is heard singing when she listens back to her vocal cut, which, of course, are lyrics to the chorus from “Die For You.”

The Weeknd reposted the video to Instagram, simply captioning the post with a smiling teary eyed emoji, without giving further information as to when this potential remix will be released.

It’s hardly the first time pop’s dynamic duo have worked together on a musical collaboration. In 2021, Grande and The Weeknd teamed up for the Billboard Hot 100-topping remix of After Hours‘ “Save Your Tears.” The Weeknd is also is featured on both “Love Me Harder” from Grande’s sophomore album, My Everything, as well as “Off The Table” from her 2020 album, Positions.

The filming for the highly anticipated Wicked films is officially underway, according to Instagram Stories from director Jon M. Chu as well as Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo, who are set to play Glinda the Good Witch and Elphaba the Wicked Witch, respectively.

“What a day today has been,” Erivo captioned a blank screen on her Stories on Wednesday (Dec. 7), tagging Grande and Chu. The director, meanwhile, shared an adorable Wicked-themed drawing made by his daughter “to commemorate the first day of shooting.” Grande reposted it, writing, “My heart.”

That’s not all the news going down in the land of Oz this week: Variety revealed that actor Ethan Slater has been cast as Boq, the love interest of Elphaba’s younger sister Nessarose, who later becomes the doomed Wicked Witch of the East. As previously announced, the film also stars Bridgerton‘s Jonathan Bailey as Fiyero, Elphaba’s romantic interest.

Based on the iconic Broadway musical of the same name by Stephen Schwartz, Wicked follows two magical enemies-turned-best friends played by Grande and Erivo. The project will be split into two separate films, the first of which is slated to hit theaters in December 2024.

“We decided to give ourselves a bigger canvas and make not just one Wicked movie but two!” Chu revealed in a statement at the time. “With more space, we can tell the story of Wicked as it was meant to be told while bringing even more depth and surprise to the journeys for these beloved characters.”

Ariana Grande took to social media to give fans a glimpse at her private life on Tuesday (Nov. 29), including a couple of new photos with her husband, Dalton Gomez.

While the pop star didn’t caption the slideshow, she kicked things off with a sweet selfie with her hubby, the twosome’s heads touching as they lean in for the camera. In the photo, Ari’s eyes are closed, but Gomez’s grin matches her own perfectly.

Another candid snap, presumably captured by the “Positions” singer, shows her real estate broker beau enjoying breakfast at a diner, dressed in a black LA Dodgers hat and North Face puffer jacket as he sips from a drink and looks off to the side.

Grande is currently in the midst of filming the long-awaited big-screen adaptation of Wicked directed by Jon M. Chu. She’s even dyed her famous locks blonde for the role of Glinda opposite Cynthia Erivo’s Elphaba. Bridgerton hunk Jonathan Bailey will play Fiyero, though the rest of the cast has yet to be announced for the two-picture musical saga.

Recently, the singer and her co-star had the chance to get some advice for their trip to Oz from none other than Idina Menzel, who originated the role of Elphaba on Broadway. “Think of all the other little young women or men that are or anybody that are watching them to see what it’s like to be different but be beautiful and to own that,” the Disenchanted actress said she told the duo during a catch-up with E! News.

Just last week, Ari showed off her newly lightened tresses for the release of her first-ever fragrance duo, Mod Blush and Mod Vanilla, which drop Thursday (Dec. 1) on the Ulta Beauty website as part of her growing fragrance and beauty empire.

Check out Ariana’s adorable photo with Dalton below.

Ariana Grande and Liz Gillies proved that they are still the ultimate dynamic duo when they took to Instagram on Friday (Oct. 28) to show off their Halloween costumes recreating some of the most iconic scenes from the 2000 mockumentary comedy film, Best in Show.

“Happy Halloween. We did this in May,” the former Victorious castmates captioned a series of photos and videos of themselves, in which Gillies portrays Jane Lynch’s character Christy Cummings and Grande takes on Jennifer Coolidge’s Sherri Ann Cabot. Later on in the series, the “7 Rings” singer transforms into Eugene Levy’s Gerry Fleck — eyebrows and all — while Gillies plays Catherine O’Hara’s curly haired Cookie Fleck.

“can this get nominated,” Katy Perry captioned the hilarious post, pointing out the duo’s impressive acting skills while recreating scenes from the movie.

Grande is no stranger to going all out for Halloween. Most notably, in 2019, she transformed herself into a pig-faced version of herself inspired by an episode of The Twilight Zone titled “Eye of the Beholder.”

She has also played dress-up for the spooky holiday with her ex-boyfriend, the late Mac Miller, a number of times. In 2016, they shared three Halloween looks, the first of which featured the couple dressed as Pokemon characters Pikachu (Miller) and Eevee (Grande). The former couple also dressed as the main characters from Wes Anderson’s Moonrise Kingdom, which they fully committed to by taking photos on rock formations while Miller sported a plastic rifle. And for their third look, they channeled The Matrix, posing in an empty venue.
