Air Jordan 4 Retro

With all the Nike and Air Jordan retro sneakers set to return in 2025 that has sneakerheads all in their feelings (and pockets), Nike is continuing to up the ante as they’re bringing back a new classic Air Jordan in a new colorway.

According to Highsnobiety, the skateboard Nike SB x Air Jordan 4 is set to return later this year but instead of the pine green and red colorway that we went crazy for in 2022, this iteration will be donning a “Midnight Navy” blue colorway that’s sure to be a bigger hit than it’s predecessor. Though there have been pictures of other SB 4’s circling the internet including and all-black version along with a red and grey sample, rumors of the blue Air Jordan 4 SB’s dropping next was well-known for quite some time.

Now that it seems like that does seem to be the case, many sneakerheads are anxiously awaiting a release date and stock numbers as collaborations like this tend to be highly sought after with limited product being available upon release days.
Per Highsnobiety:
The skate sneaker is set to get its second release and it has adopted navy blue paneling for the occasion. It’s not quite the original Military Blue AJ4, but it looks mighty similar.
And the similarities between this shoe and the OG Jordan 4 from 1989 go beyond just the colorway: it’s also in the shape of the shoe. Nike SB and Jordan tweaked the AJ4 design so that the shape around the toe box was more aligned with that of the original ‘89 model.
This update wasn’t made purely for aesthetic reasons (although, sneakerheads are notorious for moaning that the new-shape models don’t look as good), it’s to help the bubble-soled basketball shoe skate better. The new (well, old) toebox makes for a better flick according to Nike.
As many sneakerheads have learned over the years, the Air Jordan 4 is easily one of the most painful sneakers to wear all day regardless of how fly it compliments the entire fit. That’s why the Nike SB model was such a hit amongst the sneaker community and not only was it a comfortable pair of kicks, but roomy as well. It got to the point where it’s said that Nike ultimately decided to use their updated model for future Air Jordan 4 releases.
Now that we’re getting a new colorway of the SB 4’s, you can bet your bottom dollar these will be tough as nails to come by whenever release date rolls around.

The year 2025 is shaping up to be one hell of a year for sneaker aficionados across the globe as Nike is bringing back many of their classic Nike and Jordan silhouettes and now we’re getting word that another grail will be joining the fray as the Air Jordan 4 “Cement” is gearing up for a marvelous return.

According to Highsnobiety, the classic Air Jordan 4 colorway has been added to the very long list of classic Nike’s returning in this new year and luckily for us OG sneakerheads, there isn’t much hype behind it… yet. News of the return broke when the Zsneakerheadz account released teaser pics of the upcoming drop and revealed a tentative release date of May 24, 2025. Needless to say sneakerheads were hype as the last time these released it was back in 2016.
Per Highsnobiety:

Yes, nine years since its last retro, the Jordan 4 “White Cement” is back again — and looking wonderfully classic, I’ll add.
Early looks of the model reveal a design that looks almost exactly like the OG pairs, from the crisp white leather uppers to the speckled “cement” details to the Nike Air branding on the heel.
Believe it or not that “Nike Air” brand on the heel instead of the Jumpman logo goes a very long way with sneakerheads. Just sayin.’
Check out pics of the upcoming Air Jordan 4 “Cement” below and let us know if you’ll be looking to pick up a pair or two when they release on May 24th. We’re looking to get at least three pairs.

It’s been a slow few weeks for hypebeasts as the recent Nikes and Jordan drops have been less than stellar. But anticipation has been building for the long-awaited Air Jordan 4 “Military Blue”‘s and judging from the numbers, it should be an easy copp for sneaker enthusiasts.

According to Sneakernews, Nike has gotten the memo from sneakerheads to mass produce their most highly-anticipated releases (instead of making them limited) and will be dropping a million pairs of their retro Air Jordan 4’s. Originally the sneakers were only going to be seeing a 500,000 pair drop as the “Reimagined” Air Jordan 4 “Bred”‘s did, but with the hype behind this colorway reaching a fever pitch, Nike decided to give us what we want while cashing in bigly as these are basically a guaranteed sell out on arrival.
Sneakernews reports:

When comparing the Military Blue and Bred Reimagined 4s, it’s worth noting that the Military Blues will most definitely be met with more demand. While sneakerheads were able to satiate their need for “Bred” Jordan 4s as recently as 2019 before the Reimagineds dropped this year, the Military Blue colorway hasn’t surfaced in any shape or form since 2012. For that reason, news of high stock numbers come as promising development for all those looking to secure a pair (sorry, resellers).
If production does in fact meet consumer demand, we’ll most likely see shock drops and other non-traditional rollouts just as we did with the Bred Reimagineds both before and after their official release on February 17th.
This is a good look for true-blue sneakerheads who’ve had to deal with sneaker resellers and sneakerbots that eat up inventory on hyped up sneakers that drop in limited quantities. With a million pairs available not only will it give heads a fair shot at copping for retail, but resale prices shouldn’t be ridiculously high.
Hopefully they do the same with their future Travis Scott and Off-White collaborations. Damnit, Jordan Brand, drop those purple and white Travis Scott Air Jordan 4’s!!!
The Air Jordan 4 “Military Blue”‘s are set to drop on May 25th. Will you be copping? Let us know in the comments section below.
