R. Kelly will now have to answer to yet another shocking allegation. The R&B crooner’s daughter Buku Abi claims he abused her as well.
As spotted by Vulture, the disgraced singer is being accused of sexual misconduct by his own offspring. Last week, a new documentary premiered that spotlighted the journey of his first born. According to the TVEI Network, R. Kelly’s Karma: A Daughter’s Journey reveals “the traumatic impact of her father’s actions that exposes the heartbreaking secrets and betrayals within the family, reclaiming her voice and identity in the aftermath of his notorious scandals.” During the two-part project, Buku Abi, born Joanne Kelly, says the crooner molested her when she was 8 or 9 years old.
“For a long time, I didn’t even want to believe that it happened. I was too scared to tell anybody,” she explained. “I really feel like that one millisecond completely just changed my whole life and changed who I was as a person and changed the sparkle I had and the light I used to carry.” She went on reveal how the first incident occurred when R. Kelly was hosting a party and she decided to sleep in his office to be near her father. Late into the morning she says she woke up to him touching her inappropriately. “I just remember waking up to him touching me. And I didn’t know what to do, so I just kind of laid there and pretended to be [asleep],” she added.
According to paperwork obtained by WBEZ Chicago, her mother Andrea Kelly filed a report with local police back in 2009. The claim was found to be “unfounded” by Illinois Department of Children & Family Services department. “The DCFS caseworker/investigator … specifically and personally advised Jane Doe’s mother that despite the fact that [the caseworker] believed that the events occurred, she had no choice but to deem the matter unfounded based on the length of time between the events occurring and Jane Doe reporting the incident,” the documentation read.
Upon the documentary’s release, Buku Abi took to Instagram to detail why she decided to tell her story. “I did it for me, I did it for my son. I did it for my peace of mind,” she wrote. “I did it for the ones that love and know me but never understood me growing up. I did it to honor truth. I did it to look my biggest demon in the eyes and tell ‘em I’m done.”

One of Rap’s most polarizing personalities will have to clear his name yet again. DJ Akademiks’ ex-girlfriend is making claims of domestic abuse and more.
Madame Noire is reporting that a former female friend of the content creator has made some very damning accusations. On Wednesday, January 31. a woman named Cheyenne took to social media seeking to expose the man born Livingston Allen. In screenshots posted by It’s Onsite the woman shared photographs of her covering up bruises under her eye with a combination of concealer and foundation.
“Never had to wear this much makeup until I met him” she wrote. Cheyenne went on to state that this supposed incident took place a day before they left for a trip to London.
But wait it gets worse; she also says that DJ Akademiks needs to get his hygiene in order. This fat lard keeps threatening me. “You smell like tartar sauce & don’t bathe for 5 days. Leave me alone please it’s over.” Cheyenne also shared screenshots of what seems to be a text conversation where the podcaster persisted on talking to her even though she makes it clear she “doesn’t want to talk anymore.”
DJ Akademiks has yet to comment on the matter. Back in 2022, he got into a physical altercation with a woman. In December of 2023 he was accused by a woman named Ziya Abashe of sexual assault and rape which he has since denied.

One of the most respected executives in the Rap industry is hoping to clear his name. Harve Pierre has formally denied the recent allegations against him.
TMZ is reporting that the former president of Bad Boy Entertainment is speaking out against some very damming accusations. In an exclusive statement shared with the celebrity news website the man formerly known as Joe Hooker vehemently denies claims that he participated in sexual assault against a minor. “This is a tale of fiction,” he said. “I have never participated in, witnessed, nor heard of anything like this, ever. These disgusting allegations are false and a desperate attempt for financial gain.” Pierre added “I will vigorously protect my reputation and defend my name. Those who know me recognize that these claims are not true.”
The latest lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs also claimed Pierre groomed an unidentified Detroit teen by flying her out on a private plane to New York City for a recording session. There at the studio she says men assaulted her in the bathroom while Pierre smoked crack cocaine from a Pepsi can. The filing states the abuse occurred on multiple occasions throughout 2016 and 2017.
Bad Boy Entertainment founder Diddy has found himself also fighting to keep a good name with multiple lawsuits alleging sexual misconduct. On December 6 he finally spoke up with a post shared throughout all his social media channels. “ENOUGH IS ENOUGH”, the statement read. “FOR THE LAST COUPLE OF WEEKS, I HAVE SAT SILENTLY AND WATCHED PEOPLE TRY TO ASSASSINATE MY CHARACTER, DESTROY MY REPUTATION AND MY LEGACY. SICKENING ACCUSATIONS HAVE BEEN MADE AGAINST ME BY INDIVIDUALS LOOKING FOR A QUICK PAYDAY.” He added “LET ME BE ABSOLUTELY CLEAR. I DID NOT DO ANY OF THE AWFUL THINGS BEING ALLEGED. I WILL FIGHT FOR MY NAME, MY FAMILY AND FOR THE TRUTH. SEAN DIDDY COMBS.”
On November 18 Diddy reached a settlement with former girlfriend and Bad Boy Entertainment recording artist Cassandra “Cassie” Ventura. As per his lawyer Ben Brafman the settlement “is in no way an admission of wrongdoing.”

The Diddy scandal continues to get even more bizarre. His former head of security has cryptically spoken up after being named in Cassie’s lawsuit.
As spotted on TMZ last week the scandal brought another former Bad Boy Entertainment employee out of the shadows. The “Me & U” singer claimed in her court documents that Roger Bonds, Diddy’s former security director, saw her go through a harrowing experience. In the paperwork she says that the mogul attacked her back in 2009 after learning she had spoken to a music manager at a Los Angeles nightclub. Cassie states that Bonds even tried to stop it. “Whеn thе car arrivеd at Mr. Combs’ rеsidеncе, Ms. Vеntura attеmptеd to run away, but Mr. Combs followеd hеr and procееdеd to again kick hеr in thе facе. Ms. Vеntura was blееding profusеly, and was ushеrеd into Mr. Combs’ homе, whеrе shе bеgan to throw up from thе violеnt assault” the court documents read.
Naturally this landed on the security professional’s radar prompting him to respond. In a since deleted Instagram post Roger Bonds wrote “This is not meant to be threats or snitching or anything like that against Cassie or Diddy or anyone else. this is me telling my truth as I truly remember it for 2 reasons only.” He went on to explain his reasoning on speaking out citing his family. “1st because I have 4 daughters so on all dudes my truth as I seen it, saw it and was involved with it for yrs.” further adding “IM WILLING TO TELL MY TEUTH BECAUSE FOR SO MANY YRS I WAS QUIET , Nothing matters now but FAMILY.”
On Monday, November 27 Roger Bonds returned to his Instagram account with a follow up post that featured a screenshot of a Complex article. His caption read “NEVER KEEP YOUR WORD WHEN THE REASON YOU KEPT YOUR WORD NO LONGER EXIST.” It is unclear what the cryptic message means or if he will indeed speak on what he did or did not see during his time at Bad Boy Entertainment.
Back in 2022 Roger Bonds discussed his life on VLADTV. You can watch the two-hour interview below.
