“Mónaco” leads Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar’s tracks, storming in at No. 1 on the tally, which combines airplay, streaming and digital data. The song registered 26 million official U.S. streams on the week ending Oct. 19, according to Luminate. The eight-figure sum sparks a No. 2 start on the overall Streaming Songs and a No. 1 on Latin Streaming Songs charts, where Benito extends his No. 1 record, with 17.
Further, “Mónaco” unseats Drake’s “Gently” — on which Bad Bunny features — from the lead, sending it to No. 12 with 10.3 million U.S. streams, down 58%.
Sales also contribute to the song’s chart-topping start: “Mónaco” sold 1,000 downloads in its first week, enough for a No. 1 start on Latin Digital Song Sales. With a new No. 1 career entry there, Benito enters a tie with Shakira for the most No. 1s, both with 16.

“Gently” is one of 23 tracks on the Canadian rapper’s For All The Dogs album, which debuts at No. 1 on the overall Billboard 200 list — his 13th leader there. The dembow track’s No. 1 start is fueled largely by streaming activity, with some digital sales, a normal pattern for both acts’ catalogs. Hot Latin Songs combines streaming, sales data, and radio airplay into its rankings.
“Gently” launches with 24.3 million streams in the U.S. during the Oct. 6-12 tracking week, according to Luminate. That sum bursts into a No. 9 start on the overall Streaming Songs chart and a No. 1 on Latin Streaming Songs.
Sales, too, propel the song to a strong bow: “Gently” nearly generated 2,000 downloads in the U.S., for a No. 1 start on Latin Digital Song Sales.
With “Gently,” Drake nabs his third champ (and third through a collaboration with a Latin artist) among three total entries on the multi-metric survey. His also ruled as a featured artist on Romeo Santos’ “Odio” for 13 weeks in 2014. Meanwhile, as mentioned, Bad Bunny’s “MIA,” (also featuring the Canadian superstar) took charge for 16 weeks, starting with the Oct. 27, 2018-dated list.
Bad Bunny, meanwhile, collects his 13th No. 1, tying Shakira for the fourth-most rulers on the list. Since Hot Latin Songs launched in 1986, Enrique Iglesias continues to have the most No. 1s, with 27. Here’s the review of leaders:
27, Enrique Iglesias16, Luis Miguel15, Gloria Estefan13, Shakira13, Bad Bunny11, Marco Antonio Solis11, Ricky Martin
Beyond its No. 1 debut on Hot Latin Songs, “Gently” makes its way across multiple Billboard charts: It debuts at No. 12 on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100, No. 10 on the Billboard Global 200 (largely powered by 44 million worldwide streams), and No. 20 on the Global Excl. U.S. list (mostly driven by 21 million clicks outside the U.S.)

Feid captures his second top 10 on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums chart — and highest charting release yet — with his latest set Mor, No Le Temas a La Oscuridad, which debuts at No. 4 on the Oct. 14-dated survey.
Mor, No Le Temas a La Oscuridad launches with 20,000 equivalent album units earned in the U.S. during the Sept. 29-Oct. 5 tracking week, according to Luminate. It’s the biggest opening week in terms of units among Feid’s six career entries on the overall albums ranking.
On Top Latin Albums, an equivalent album unit equals one album sale, or 10 individual tracks sold from an album (track equivalent album units, TEA), or 3,750 ad-supported or 1,250 paid/subscription on-demand official audio and video streams generated by songs from an album (streaming equivalent album units, SEA).
Streaming powers most of the album’s activity, with 15,000 of the first week from the consumption method. That figure equals to 20.1 million official U.S. on-demand streams for the album’s songs in its opening week. Traditional albums sales, meanwhile, account for 5,000 units, while a negligible amount derives from track-equivalent unit.
Mor, No Le Temas gives Feid, whose off-stage name is Salomón Villada Hoyos, his second top 10 on Top Latin Albums. The album was released Sept. 28 via Universal Music Latino/UMLE. Previously, Feliz Cumpleaños Ferxxo: Te Pirateamos El Album peaked at No. 6 in Oct. 2022. The set held in the top 10 for 12 weeks. In between, Sixdo (EP) debuted and peaked at No. 32 last December.
Feid also nabs his highest charting album on the all-genre Billboard 200, as Mor debuts at No. 31. Plus, the album arrives at No. 3 on Latin Rhythm Albums, likewise his highest charting album there.
Mor was previewed by two songs: Feid’s first collab with Sean Paul, “Niña Bonita,” which peaked at No. 41 on the multi-metric Hot Latin Songs chart, and “Bubalu,” with Rema, that rises 39-32. Further, “Luces de Tecno” debuts at No. 40 on the current tally.

“Mi Ex Tenía Razón” was released Aug. 11 as part of Karol’s Mañana Será Bonito (Bichota Season) which took her to No. 1 on Top Latin Albums (Aug. 26-dated list). The track arrives at the summit on the overall Latin Airplay after it earned 9.8 million audience impressions in the U.S. in the week ending Sept. 28, according to Luminate, a 16% gain from the week prior. Plus, it ejects Chencho Corleone’s “Un Cigarrillo” from the lead and sends it to No. 9, after one week in charge (6.41million in audience, down 28%)
With the new leader, Karol becomes the first woman to achieve a No. 1 as a soloist, unaccompanied by any other act, in 2023. The last woman to do so was Rosalía, who accomplished the feat through “Despechá” in Oct. 2022.
In total, among Karol G’s 16 No. 1s, she’s led the Latin Airplay chart five times, unaccompanied by another act. Her first leader overall was “Mi Cama,” with J Balvin, featuring Nicky Jam, in 2018.
Prior to “Razón,” “Provenza” became Karol’s last totally solo ruler, for one week in charge in July 2022. In between, “TQG,” a collaboration with Shakira, spent two weeks at No. 1.
“Razón’s” new peak on Latin Airplay, arrives after its one-week coronation on Hot Latin Songs (Aug. 26-dated list), where it dips 5-6 on the current chart with a 7% decrease in streams, to 7.56 million, and an 18% fall in sales during the same period.
Beyond its Latin Airplay coronation, “Razón” also pushes up Regional Mexican Airplay, climbing 39-23. The song earned Karol a first entry there when it debuted at No. 39 (Sept. 30-dated list).

Edwin Luna y La Trakalosa de Monterrey capture their fourth champ on Billboard’s Regional Mexican Airplay chart with “No Se Vale.” The group’s latest single rises 3-1 to lead the chart dated Sept. 16.
“No Se Vale” crowns Regional Mexican Airplay in its 10th week with 6.37 million audience impressions. That’s less than a 1% gain from the week prior, earned in the U.S. in the week ending Sept. 7, according to Luminate.
“No Se Vale” gives Edwin Luna and La Trakalosa their fourth No. 1 and first in almost two years, after the two-week coronation of “Saludos a Mi Ex” in March 2021. The group achieved its first Regional Mexican Airplay ruler through “Dormida” which dominated for three weeks in 2020. In total, Luna and La Trakalosa have placed nine top 10 entries dating back to 2017 when “Aplauso” reached its No. 4 high.
Beyond the new Regional Mexican Airplay No. 1, “No Se Vale” holds at No. 10 (its peak) on the overall Latin Airplay chart for a second week.

Mora’s Fourth Straight Top 10: Over on Top Latin Albums, Mora picks up his fourth straight top 10 with his fourth album, Estrella. The 15-track set, released via Rimas Entertainment on Aug. 28, advances 12-8 with 9,000 equivalent album units, up 19%, earned in the U.S. during the Sept. 1-7 tracking week.
As with most Latin rhythmic efforts, the bulk of Estrella’s activity comes from streaming equivalent album units. That figure equals to 12.2. million official U.S. on-demand streams of the album’s songs. Album sales and track-equivalent album units, meanwhile, account for the negligible remaining units.
Estrella follows three other top 10s, two No. 4-peaking sets which landed in 2022: While Microdosis endured for 33 weeks, Paraiso’s run completed after six weeks on Top Latin Albums.
Elsewhere, Estrella jumps 6-4 for a new peak on Latin Rhythm Albums. It also debuts at No. 167 on the all-genre Billboard 200.
As Estrella arrives, two songs debut on the Global charts. On Billboard Global 200, “Reina,” with Saiko, debuts at No. 149 after drawing 15.18 million global streams, while “Dónde Se Aprende a Querer” starts at No. 156 with 14.4 million worldwide streams. The former concurrently logged 13.7 international streams with a No. 87 start on Global Excl. U.S., while the latter launched at No. 99 with 12.62 streams outside the U.S.
Los Angeles Azules add a new single to their collab portfolio with “El Amor De Mi Vida,” featuring Maria Becerra. The song flies 38-9 on Billboard’s Regional Mexican Airplay chart dated Sept. 9. It earns Becerra her first top 10 with her first entry.
“El Amor De Mi Vida” was released Aug. 18 via SeiTrack/Disa/UMLE. With a 38-9 surge it becomes the biggest jump for a song since Adan Chalino Sanchez’ “Nadie Es Eterno” equally climbed 29 rankings, from No. 33 to No. 4, in 2004.
“El Amor De Mi Vida” traces its top 10 ascent to a robust 178% percent gain in audience impressions, to 4.1 million, earned in the U.S. in the week ending Aug. 31, according to Luminate.
As the song arrives in the upper region, Becerra secures her first top 10 since the chart’s inception in 1994. Los Angeles Azules, meanwhile, log their 14th top 10 hit, after “Tú y Tú,” with Cazzu and Santa Fe Klan, crowned Regional Mexican Airplay for one week in May.

Becerra adds a seventh entry on Latin Airplay. Plus, she extends her record for the most entries by a woman on Billboard Argentina Hot 100 with 43 career entries.
El Fantasma captures his fifth No. 1 on Billboard’s Regional Mexican Airplay chart as “La Vida Cara” crowns the list dated Sept. 9. The single checks into the penthouse after a 13% gain in audience impressions, to 6.8 million, earned in the U.S. during the Aug. 25-31 tracking week, according to Luminate.
‘La Vida Cara” ascends 4-1 in its ninth week and unseats Carin León’s “Indispensable” from its three-week domination; the song dips 1-2.
El Fantasma scores his fifth No. 1 after coming short on his last appearance. Previously, “El Selectivo” reached No. 2 in April, where it held for three weeks. Prior, “Soldado Caído” lifted 3-1 in Oct. 2022.
With his fifth champ, El Fantasma becomes the sixth male artist with as many No. 1s on Regional Mexican Airplay since the list launched in 1994. Christian Nodal beats the race with 15. Here’s the recap:
15, Christian Nodal12, Gerardo Ortiz8, Marco Antonio Solis7, Vicente Fernández6, Alejandro Fernández5, El Fantasma
Notably, as “Vida Cara” lands at No. 1, collaborators Salvador Hurtado and Indalfer Ochoa, who share writing credits, achieve their first champ on any Latin radio list. Hurtado previously landed in the runner-up slot when La Fiera De Ojinaga’s “900 Cigarros” peaked at No. 1 on the Aug. 26-dated list.
Beyond its Regional Mexican Airplay coronation, “Vida” gifts El Fantasma his ninth top 10 on the overall Latin Airplay chart as the song climbs 15-5.

Maluma’s ‘Don Juan’ debuts in the top 10: Elsewhere on Latin charts, Maluma picks up his sixth top 10 on Latin Rhythm Albums as Don Juan opens at No. 5 with 8,000 equivalent album units earned in week ending Aug. 31.
The 24-track Don Juan was released Aug. 25 via Sony Music Latin. Of the 8,000-unit week, 7,000 derives from streaming activity, equal to 10.3 million official on-demand audio and video streams for the album’s songs in its first week.
With Don Juan, Maluma logs his sixth top 10 effort on Latin Rhythm Albums out of seven chart entries. Before the No. 12-peaking The Love & Sex Tapes set in June 2022, his previous five releases all reached top 10, and three out of those topped the list – 2015 Pretty Boy, Dirty Boy earned the Colombian his first chart appearance and maiden No. 1, while F.A.M.E. (2018) and 11:11 (2019), both debuted at the summit and ruled for one week, respectively.
Don Juan was preceded by four songs on the multi-metric Hot Latin Songs chart, starting with “Sobrio,” which peaked at No. 11 in Oct. 2021. Meanwhile, three others debuted in 2023: “La Fórmula,” with Marc Anthony, “Diablo, Que Chimba,” with Anuel AA, and “Coco Loco,” all debuted and peaked at No. 33, No. 45, and No. 41 in Feb., April, and June, respectively.
Further, Don Juan debuts at No. 11 on Top Latin Albums, Maluma’s best chart performance since Papi Juancho debuted and peaked at No. 2 in 2020.
Karol G’s “Qlona,” her first collaboration with Peso Pluma, conquers Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart as the song ascends 2-1 and ousts her own “Mi Ex Tenía Razón” from the lead, sending it to No. 2 on the Sept. 2-dated list. Both songs are part of her No. 1 album Mañana Será Bonito (Bichota Season).
“Qlona” leads the multimetric ranking powered by streaming activity. During the tracking week ending Aug. 24, it logged 12.6 million on-demand official streams in the U.S., a 7% rise from the previous week, according to Luminate. The sum yields the song to No. 1 on Latin Streaming Songs as the Greatest Gainer of the week and an 18-16 lift on the overall Streaming Songs chart; the only song by a Latin artist in the top 20 there.
With “Qlona,” Karol G captures her eighth No. 1 on Hot Latin Songs. She first led with “Dame Tu Cosita” with Pitbull and El Chombo, featuring Cutty Ranks, for two weeks in 2018. Her second and longest coronation to date arrived a year later as “China” — with Anuel AA, Daddy Yankee, Ozuna and J Balvin — crowned the list for 12 weeks in 2019.
Peso Pluma, meanwhile, secures his second champ after the 19-week ruler “Ella Baila Sola” with Eslabon Armado, the longest leading song on Hot Latin Songs in 2023 thus far.
As “Qlona” exchanges places with “Mi Ex Tenía Razón,” Karol G replaces herself at No. 1 again. She is the last woman with direct successors at the summit, as “Mamiii” with Becky G ceded the throne to her own “Provenza” on the May 14, 2022-dated chart. Among all acts, Bad Bunny did it last, when “Me Porto Bonito” ejected his own “Titi Me Preguntó” from the lead (list dated May 28, 2022).
“Qlona” is the second ruler from Karol G’s Bichota Season to lead Hot Latin Songs. Thanks to nine new debuts from the set on last’s week chart (Aug. 22 dated chart), the Colombian made history, breaking the record for the most songs among female artists on the list’s history, which dates to 1986.
Elsewhere, “Qlona” rallies 29-12 on Billboard Global 200 and flies 55-15 on Global Excl. U.S., to new peaks on both rankings.

“The truth is that when I recorded the album, every song was designed to suit my taste and style, but I always wonder if it will please the audience,” Chayanne tells Billboard. “So, besides the fact that it was a pleasure to record a bachata, knowing that it reached No. 1, deems a celebration.”
“Bailando Bachata” takes the lead on the overall Latin Airplay tally after a 17% surge in audience impressions, to 9.5 million, earned in the U.S. in the week ending Aug. 17, according to Luminate.
The song gives Chayanne his seventh champ dating back to “Dejaría Todo,” which remained in command during five weeks between 1998 and 1999. Here’s the recap of his No. 1 charting singles:
Peak, Title, Weeks at No. 1
Dec. 12, 1998, “Dejaría Todo,” five
Dec. 2, 2000, “Yo Te Amo,” five
June 15, 2002, “Y Tú Te Vas,” seven
Sept. 6, 2003, “Un Siglo Sin Ti,” one
Jan. 31, 2004, “Cuidarte El Alma,” three
May 12, 2007, “Si Nos Quedara Poco Tiempo,” one
Further, the Puerto Rican wraps the longest break from the lead with a 16-year gap, since “Si Nos Quedara Poco Tiempo” ruled for one week in May 2007. The journey outdoes Alejandro Fernández’s 10-year wait between “Se Me Va La Voz” and “Caballero,” which ruled in February 2010 and January 2020, respectively.
“Bailando” is the fourth bachata to hit No. 1 on Latin Airplay in 2023, after Shakira and Ozuna’s “Monotonía,” Romeo Santos and Rosalia’s “El Panuelo” and Prince Royce’s “Me EnRD.”
“Bachata is a rhythm that I have always liked, but ‘Bailando Bachata’ is special since it represents a great achievement,” Chayanne adds. “There are many good songs playing out there, very talented artists, so I am more than grateful and happy. I did not expect it.”
Elsewhere, “Bailando Bachata” pulls its fourth week atop Tropical Airplay. The song is the third single from Chayanne’s upcoming studio album (release date has not yet been announced). “Overall, I think the album is very special, we invested a lot of time and energy on it, a lot of talent working with me. It’s a great album!!!”
