The Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles came alive with some of music’s biggest stars Monday night (March 17), with Billie Eilish, Benson Boone and Gracie Abrams all winning big at the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards. Among the prizes given out were album of the year, which went to the “Birds of a Feather” singer’s Hit Me […]

Yungblud has officially made his grand return.
The 27-year-old British rocker introduced his fourth studio album era with an epic nine-minute long single, “Hello Heaven, Hello” as well as the accompanying cinematic music video on Tuesday (March 18).

In the Charlie Sarsfield-directed music video, Yungblud proclaims the lyrics from various scenic landscapes, from a snowy mountain field alongside a gorgeous black horse to the edge of a cliff. He then grows wings and ascends into the air, before the second half of the video takes place inside a black-and-white TV set, where the singer performs the rest of the track with his band. He concludes the visual while holding onto a cross, with mountains and lake behind him at sunset.

“Hello Heaven, Hello is the opening statement to my new album. It’s a journey of self-reclamation, a goodbye to the past and how you may have known or perceived me before and a hello to the future and where I’m going,” Yungblud said of the track in a press statement. “It sets the precedent for what this album is. It’s an adventure that’s sonically more ambitious than ever before, a journey that is meant to be played in its entirety, that doesn’t for a moment hold back or let its imagination be filtered. I wanted its first moment to be a statement.”

He continued of the song’s length, “I’ve been discouraged from releasing a nine-minute-and-six-second song as my first move back in a year because in a modern world it’s seen to be a ‘risk’ — I don’t see it like that at all. I see it as an opportunity. In my opinion, risk is an artist’s greatest tool, putting everything on the line in pursuit of the best evolution and art you can make — without risk, there is no innovation. I feel like for the first time in a long time I’m exactly where I need to be and doing exactly what I’m supposed to be doing — making exactly what I want — exploring the past, the present, the future and most importantly, myself. This album feels magical to me and this is where it starts. Where the f— are we gonna end up? Let’s see. Get on the horse. Let’s ride.”

Yungblud’s last album was his self-titled 2022 project, though he’s released a string of singles since. His music festival, Bludfest, will also be returning to Milton Keynes’ National Bowl on June 21, 2025.

The anniversary run will begin May 1 with two nights from the band Authority Zero. For the first night, Authority Zero will dive into “Rhythm & Booze,” with an acoustic set that will be recorded for their next live acoustic release. Authority Zero will crank up the wattage for their set on May 2 for a high-energy set.

The Rebel Lounge opened on May 20, 2015, under the ownership of Stephen Chilton of Psyko Steve Presents and musician Chuckie Duff from the band Dear and the Headlights. In the last decade, the venue has won Best Punk Club, Best Rock Club, Best Marquee, Best Mural and Best Rebooted Venue by the Phoenix New Times and in 2024, Billboard selected The Rebel Lounge as the Best Venue Under 500-Capacity in their list of 2024 Top Music Venues.

“When we started talking about how to celebrate The Rebel Lounge turning 10 years old, and we were discussing which bands we would want to feature, we realized it was hard to do one celebration because we work with so many different types of artists,” said Chilton in a statement. “We immediately knew we wanted to do something that all the valley music fans that support The Rebel could appreciate.“

Chilton added that the goal of the series is to highlight the diversity of artists and local acts that have performed at the Rebel Lounge over the last decade.

Roger Clyne & PH Naffah (of Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers) return to the Rebel Lounge to celebrate Cinco de Mayo on May 5. Thrash metal favorites Sacred Reich take to Rebel’s stage on May 16, followed The Summer Set on May 17 promoting their new track “I Don’t Wanna Party.” Rap metal heavyweights Dropout Kings will perform May 28 before hitting the road for Motocultor Festival and Odyssea.

The anniversary series will also feature artists who launched their career at the Rebel Lounge including Phoenix Afrobeat Orchestra on May 22, homegrown emo night event EmoNightPhx on May 3rd and Phoenix’s long running hip hop and dance showcase Blunt Club set for May 23.

A calendar of shows for May is available below. Tickets for the series go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. local time. Tickets and information for all shows can be found at TheRebelLounge.com/10years.

Billboard Korea has published the second issue of Billboard Artist, and this time, the spotlight is on the multi-talented artist and member of BLACKPINK, JISOO. JISOO continues to make a powerful impact both as a solo artist and as an actress. Her solo album AMORTAGE, released on Feb. 14, explores love with a cinematic touch. This special issue captures JISOO’s charm in a visual story, blending soft, delicate aesthetics with bold and independent imagery. Shot in unique settings like a terrarium and an aquarium, these visuals symbolize comfort and familiarity—contrasted by striking, avant-garde designs that push her artistry into new territory.

Unlike regular magazines, Billboard Artist is a large-format, unbound conceptual edition where each page feels like a collectible poster. This timeless collectible is an artistic deep dive into musicians’ creative worlds, featuring photography, essays, interviews and art for fans to enjoy. Available in English and Korean.

Trending on Billboard

Why did you choose JISOO for the second issue?

Billboard Korea: The Billboard Artist aims to showcase musicians from fresh, unexpected angles going beyond their usual image to create something truly special. This process naturally leads to a process in which the musicians themselves have a moment of wanting to communicate through a new appearance and have a clear synergy with us. JISOO’s AMORTAGE project was the perfect fit, offering a cinematic and emotional take on love, far from completeness and perfection. Her vision aligned perfectly with our goal of reinterpreting artists in new ways, making her an ideal choice for this issue.

What aspects of JISOO did you focus on?

Billboard Korea: While JISOO is known for being BLACKPINK’s steady presence and for the massive success of her solo hit “Flower,” we wanted to explore the many sides of her personality, not just her elegance and grace, but also her passionate, vulnerable and even provocative moments. Through this issue’s photography and visual storytelling, we highlight her evolution as an artist and actress. She herself is the source and inspiration for Billboard Artists.

Why were the terrarium and aquarium sets used?

Billboard Korea: These small, enclosed ecosystems represent comfort zones, safe, self-sustaining spaces where everything is perfectly balanced. But stepping outside of them means facing the unknown, new challenges, unfamiliar environments and personal growth. We felt this concept beautifully symbolized JISOO’s artistic journey, as she steps beyond her comfort zone into new creative territories.

What did JISOO express through Billboard Artist?

Billboard Korea: We’d like to share some of our conversation about love from Billboard Artist.

Lucian Bor

Billboard Korea: Flowers often symbolize love in Korean literature. Your first solo album was released on Valentine’s Day, which is all about love. How do you define love?

JISOO: Flowers don’t just bloom and end, but they change themselves as they bloom and fall according to the seasons. Isn’t love like that? The thrill and intense emotions when love begins, the happiness felt as it deepens, the pain of separation and even liberation. I think love is more of a ‘journey’ than a single emotion. Through that journey, we grow and become more ourselves. That’s why love to me is ‘learning.’ It’s an emotion that I learn from my relationships with people, through music and through my fans. That’s why I want to say that love to me is not a simple emotion, but a process of maturation that I continue to experience and fill.

Billboard Korea: There are many types of love. What is the most precious type of love to JISOO?

JISOO: I don’t think it has to be defined in a specific way, but to me, the most precious love is ‘respectful love.’ It’s the heart that accepts and respects the other person as they are. I learned a lot about that kind of love while doing music. The warm gaze of fans on stage, the trust of colleagues who make music together and the process of accepting myself as I am. I think love is ultimately the power that helps each other grow.

Billboard Korea: Are there any scenes from JISOO’s all-time favorite movies that you would like to put together as a montage?

JISOO: Like AMORTAGE, which tells the story of a journey of love, I want to connect scenes that contain changes in emotion. For excitement, I would like the scene in Before Sunrise where the two people who first met have a conversation on the train. The unfamiliar but strongly attracted feeling resembles the beginning of love. For the moment of deepening, I would express it with the scene in La La Land where the two people dance under the night sky. I think it captures the moment when love shines the most. For the pain of separation, I would choose the scene in Eternal Sunshine where they look at each other on the beach right before their memories disappear. I was impressed by the movie because it expressed the emotions of separation so delicately. Finally, I want to connect the liberation and growth scene in (500) Days of Summer where Tom finally welcomes a new season. Tom experiences a breakup, gets hurt and wanders, but eventually grows as time passes and meets a new relationship called Autumn, not Summer. I thought of this scene because it captures the process of overcoming a breakup, finding oneself and moving forward again.

What’s inside Billboard Artist, JISOO edition?

Billboard Korea: The magazine opens with an extensive 30-plus page visual story of JISOO, photographed by Lucian Bor. It also features stunning artworks by Fabian Oefner, who captures essence by trapped objects in resin, and the “Bubble Flower” series by Azuma Makoto, a pioneer in plant sculpture. Additionally, it includes AMORTAGE, an essay exploring the complex and elusive nature of love, along with an exclusive interview with JISOO. The issue is available with four unique covers, each showcasing a different side of her.

Lady Gaga is joining her Little Monsters on a new dance trend inspired by her recently released album, MAYHEM. The superstar took to TikTok this week to share a 12-second video featuring the chorus from a track off the project, “Zombieboy.” In the clip, she convulses her body to the beat, before stretching her arms […]

Take it from Dax Shepard: Dancing to Sabrina Carpenter‘s music with your kids is super fun. The PG-13 conversations that her songs might inspire afterward? Not so much.
On the latest episode of his Armchair Expert podcast, the actor — who shares 13-year-old Lincoln and 10-year-old Delta with wife Kristen Bell — started out by saying that despite being “so late to the party,” he’s now “an enormous Sabrina Carpenter fan.”

“It started with ‘Bed Chem,’” he shared, referencing one of the steamier tracks on the Girl Meets World alum’s Billboard 200-topping album Short n’ Sweet. “I was driving with Delta to school today, and we listen to it every morning … If a song, it hits, you can’t resist dancing with your shoulders. We were really getting our shoulders active this morning, it was a blast.

Trending on Billboard

“It’s really fun now that I love her favorite artist,” he added. “It’s fun for her. ‘Cause now I’m on the Sabrina train.”

That said, Shepard isn’t quite as big a fan of one of the other tracks on Carpenter’s LP: “Juno,” the aphrodisiacal chorus of which is inspired by the 2007 film of the same name about a high schooler, played by Elliot Page, who gets pregnant. “I don’t wanna tell [Delta] it wasn’t my favorite, ’cause it’s her favorite — but I’m not gonna lie to her,” he said before explaining the awkward parenting moment the racy song’s lyrics inspired.

“She goes, ‘But do you know what Juno is?’ and I go, ‘No…,’” Shepard recalled. “And she’s like, ‘Well, it’s a movie,’ and I go, ‘The movie Juno? Yes, I know.’ She goes, ‘Yeah … It’s a story about a girl who gets pregnant.’”

“I go, ‘That’s a little nasty,’” he continued. “And she goes, ‘What’s nasty about wanting to have a baby with somebody?’ I go, ‘Well, it’s a teenager. She’s in high school.’”

“The way she phrased it was like, ‘Wait, what’s nasty about wanting to have a baby with someone you love?’” Shepard added. “And I was like, ‘Oh no, there’s nothing nasty about that, I’m just saying, ‘I wanna get pregnant in high school’ is kind of a nasty, fun lyric. It’s a positive ‘nasty,’ I’m saying.”

Full of NSFW lyrics and double entendres, “Juno” is one of the biggest fan favorites on Short n’ Sweet. That’s thanks in part to the fact that each night on Carpenter’s ongoing tour in support of the album, she strikes a different pose on stage to coincide with the suggestive lyric, “Wanna try out some freaky positions?/ Have you ever tried this one?”

At one of her recent shows in Paris, for instance, she paid tribute to the city by contorting her body into the shape of the Eiffel Tower with the help of two male backup dancers.

Listen to Shepard recount his and Delta’s conversation about Carpenter on Armchair Expert below.

Las Vegas is known for its iconic music residencies, and the new kid on the Strip, the Sphere, is becoming the hot-ticket destination for immersive live music and concerts. Since opening its doors in 2023, the impressive venue has gathered an even more impressive lineup of musical acts to grace its futuristic stage.

For those who haven’t made their way to Sin City yet or seen the many viral emoji face memes gracing the Internet, the Sphere is a massive, spherical venue known for its immersive entertainment experiences, including concerts and films, featuring a state-of-the-art 16K resolution wraparound screen and a powerful sound system.

From U2, to Phish, to the Eagles, the Sphere is already home to some legendary rockers. U2 helped launch the space with a concert residency, U2:UV Achtung Baby Live, which went on to sell out 40 dates through its extraordinary run from September 2023 through March 2024. The show has since concluded, but fans can still experience their captivating performance through an immersive concert film showing exclusively at the Sphere.

For Eagles fans, the band has recently added four additional shows to their residency this fall, thanks to overwhelming demand. Their run now features a total of 36 shows over 18 weekends, which started Sept. 20, 2024, and so far concludes this Sept. 13.

But what about other genres? As of late, the venue is slowly expanding its array of shows, including a historic run by Anyma, the first electronic artist to grace the stage; hosting the UFC 306 event; and more recently, announcing its first-ever pop act to hold a residency with the Backstreet Boys. There were even rumors circling of Harry Styles planning a 35-date run at the venue, but the news was unfortunately squashed.

If you’re planning a trip to Las Vegas or looking for an exciting new way to experience live music, the Sphere should be high up on your list. To help you plan your next getaway, we’ve gathered a complete list of current Sphere residencies in 2025, as well as where to buy tickets.
