Minnesota Governor and former Vice Presidential candidate Tim Walz showed off his comedic chops during a Wisconsin town hall,  making light of Elon Musk’s current financial woes.

Tim Walz is currently out on the road reminding us what we could have had in the White House instead of Donald Trump, JD Vance, and unelected President Elon Musk on what he calls the “most unsatisfying I Told You So tour in the history of politics.”

Speaking to a packed house, Walz told the crowd that his new mood booster is the Stocks app on his phone, where he watches Tesla’s stock drop.
“I was saying. on my phone, I know some of you know this, on the iPhone,” Walz begins. “They’ve got that little stock app. I added Tesla to give me a little boost during the day. 225 and dropping.”
He continued, “I’m not a vindictive person or anything, but I take great pleasure in the fact that this guy’s life is going to get very, very difficult.”
He also gave some advice to people who still own Tesla vehicles.
“And if you own one, we’re not blaming you. You can some dental floss and pull the Tesla thing off you know.”

Elon Musk Has Lost Billions
It’s been a rough couple of weeks for Elon Musk. Phony Stark has lost billions, and Tesla shares took a tremendous hit in the wake of DOGE’s firings of federal workers under the guise of cutting government waste.
Tesla cars, factories and showrooms have been subject of unrest, with fed up Americans either vandalizing vehicles or holding protests at Tesla showroom locations.
Per USA Today:
Forbes, which maintains a real-time billionaire wealth tracking tool, estimates the 53-year-old was worth $342.4 billion as of the close of business Thursday, down a whopping $121.2 billion from its all-time high of $464 billion, set Dec. 17. He’s still the richest person in the world, however.
That estimate is in line with one from the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, which puts Musk’s wealth at $330 billion as of the close of business Friday, when Tesla stock skidded even lower. Shares are down 35% from the start of the year.

Welp.
To help him out, Elon Musk’s buddy, Donald Trump, reduced himself to an EV salesman holding, turning the White House lawn into a makeshift Tesla showroom. He announced he was going to buy one of the vehicles in hopes it would give Musk’s company a vote of confidence from the American people.
Spoiler alert: it did not. In fact, it even rubbed some of Trump’s most loyal supporters the wrong way because it came as the stock market nosedived in the wake of Trump’s stupid tariffs, which currently have us in the middle of a trade war with Canada, Mexico, and China.
Social media is loving Walz’s comedic energy and, of course, seeing Elon Musk suffer financially. You can see those reactions in the gallery below.

Benny Blanco and Selena Gomez captured a retro feel with their new “Sunset Blvd” music video, and song was inspired by the newly engaged couple’s first date. “This song felt like such a moment in time where you’re just fully lost in someone and you’re past that point and you’re like, ‘OK, I’m not scared […]

Beyoncé isn’t the only Knowles family member going on tour this year. Her mother Tina Knowles — a businesswoman, fashion designer, art collector and activist in her own right — will be traveling the country and overseas on behalf of her upcoming memoir, Matriarch (out April 22). The nine-city book tour launches in Washington, D.C. […]

Veteran record label executive Joe McFadden, who worked for decades at companies including EMI Music and Capitol Records, died March 11 following a long illness. He was 77.
McFadden launched his career at EMI in 1975 and later worked at Capitol Records as senior vp of sales and field marketing. While at the latter label, he worked with acts including Paul McCartney, Bonnie Raitt, Bob Seger, Megadeth, Duran Duran, Beastie Boys, Radiohead, Foo Fighters, Coldplay and Iron Maiden.

In 2007, McFadden departed Capitol to open an independent consultancy, The Hammer LLC, where he worked with Punch Andrews and Mike Boila as a sales and marketing consultant for Seger. From 2007 to 2008, McFadden was also in charge of sales, marketing and promotions for Coldplay’s Viva La Vida album and world tour.

Trending on Billboard

McFadden joined Better Noise Music in 2008 as chief commercial officer. In that role, he oversaw operations, strategic planning and artist development for acts including Five Finger Death Punch, Mötley Crüe, Papa Roach, The Hu and Buckcherry.

Prior to entering the major label system, McFadden received an education in the music business through his father, Jack McFadden, with whom he worked to manage artists including Buck Owens and Merle Haggard from their home base in Bakersfield, Calif. He went on to earn a business administration and management degree from Fresno State University.

“Joe McFadden was more than just a colleague; he was a dear friend and an invaluable partner in our journey together since we first met in 1987,” said Better Noise Music founder Allen Kovac, who worked with McFadden in various capacities for more than 30 years.

Kovac added, “Joe admired my clarity in marketing, but what I valued most was his unwavering honesty and practical thinking. Together, we navigated the challenging waters of the music industry, working on projects like Richard [Marx] and Duran Duran. At times when many doubted, Joe stood firmly by my side as a label executive, always ready to open doors and create opportunities for us to succeed.” (Kovac’s full tribute is below.)

McFadden is survived by his wife Ellen McFadden; his sister Lana Waltman; his sons Jonathan McFadden, Jeffrey McFadden and David Torello; his daughter Sara Torello Hart; and grandchildren Jeffrey McFadden Jr., Maci McFadden Stanford, Vivian Hart and Elijah Hart.

A service will be held Saturday (March 22) at 1:15 p.m. at Church of the Recession at Forest Lawn in Glendale, Calif. The live stream can be viewed here. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in McFadden’s honor to St. Jude’s Hospital, which he supported throughout his life.

Allen Kovac tribute:

Joe McFadden was more than just a colleague; he was a dear friend and an invaluable partner in our journey together since we first met in 1987.

I still vividly recall that day in the bleachers of a gym in Philadelphia. I was a relatively unknown manager on the rise, working with Richard Marx, while Joe was with CEMA Distribution, quietly making his mark. As we listened to Richard perform, something remarkable happened. Joe, who initially struck me as understated, became animated and vocal, pointing at Richard and proclaiming, “That kid is going to be a star.” From that moment on, a bond was forged between us—two believers in the power of music and vision.

Joe admired my clarity in marketing, but what I valued most was his unwavering honesty and practical thinking. Together, we navigated the challenging waters of the music industry, working on projects like Richard and Duran Duran. At times when many doubted, Joe stood firmly by my side as a label executive, always ready to open doors and create opportunities for us to succeed.

When I took the leap to start my own record company, one of my first hires was, without question, Joe. He was not just an employee; he was the foundation upon which we built our dreams. At our retreats, where new ideas were often met with skepticism, Joe would be the voice of reason, encouraging everyone to listen to my vision and reminding them that I saw possibilities they might have missed. His confidence in me gave me strength, and I will forever be grateful for that.

Every morning at our retreats, Joe would be the first to rise and greet the day. He would come down to breakfast with a smile, often sharing his fondness for the wonderful pillows in my master guest bedroom. He always got that room because of the deep respect I had for him, just as I cherished ending each night with my best scotch, a tradition we shared and enjoyed together.

Joe’s spirit, enthusiasm, and unwavering support have left an indelible mark on all of us. He was a true champion for those he believed in, and today, as we remember him, let us carry forward his legacy of belief, honesty, and camaraderie in our own lives and work.

Joe, thank you for being my partner, my friend, and a guiding light in our industry. You will be profoundly missed, but your influence will live on through each of us.

Rest in peace.

A federal judge is shaking up Limp Bizkit’s $200 million lawsuit against Universal Music Group (UMG), issuing a procedural ruling that sends much of the contentious legal battle to state court but allows copyright claims to move ahead toward trial.
In a decision issued Tuesday (March 19), Judge Percy Anderson said he would decline to exercise jurisdiction over the majority of the lawsuit’s accusations against UMG, including its core claim that the band is entitled to a ruling of “rescission” that voids its deals with the label and allows it to take back copyrights to its music.

Citing concerns about “economy, convenience [and] fairness,” the judge ruled that those claims must instead be handled by state courts in New York or California. But he denied UMG’s motion to dismiss the band’s claim of copyright infringement, allowing those claims to proceed in his court.

Trending on Billboard

Though hardly a slam dunk, the ruling is a positive development for Limp Bizkit. In an earlier ruling, Judge Anderson had outright rejected the rescission claim — a holding that also meant the band couldn’t sue the label for copyright infringement. In the new decision, the judge left the question of rescission open for a future ruling by a state court, meaning that claim — and the lucrative copyright claims — are back in play.

Though the copyright claims will now move forward in his court, the judge has repeatedly stressed that those allegations can only succeed if the band’s contracts with UMG are rescinded and it regains its ownership of the copyrights. The judge could potentially pause the case while the rescission issue is litigated in state court, but he gave no indication that he would do so in Tuesday’s decision.

Frontman Fred Durst and Limp Bizkit sued in October, claiming the band had “never received any royalties from UMG” despite its huge success over the years: “The band had still not been paid a single cent by UMG in any royalties until taking action.” The band argued that the damages total owed by UMG would “easily surpass $200 million” when the case was over.

But in January, Judge Anderson sided with UMG on the core question of rescission. He ruled that the band had in fact been “paid millions in advances” and that UMG had fronted “substantial sums” to record and distribute Limp Bizkit’s albums — meaning the band didn’t deserve the drastic remedy of terminating the decades-old deals in their entirety.

“Plaintiffs seek rescission of contracts that have governed the parties’ relationship beginning in 1996 — nearly 30 years — because the agreements should be rescinded as fraudulently induced,” the judge wrote. “Plaintiffs have not plausibly alleged the type of ‘substantial’ or ‘total failure’ in the performance of the contracts that could support rescission of the parties’ agreements.”

Following that ruling, Limp Bizkit responded by filing an updated version of the lawsuit. In it, the band added new factual allegations to support their demand for rescission, including that its former manager had fraudulently induced them to sign agreements, engaging in “wrongful self-dealing” while the band was “paid nothing.”

In Tuesday’s decision, Judge Anderson said those new allegations would require the kind of detailed analysis of novel state-law issues that a state-level court was better suited to address.

“The rescission claims, on which the copyright claims depend, … require an analysis of state law of both New York and California law involving facts and law that are distinct from those necessary to adjudicate the copyright claim,” the judge wrote. “Plaintiffs’ effort to rescind the agreements as a result of the alleged fraud committed by their former business manager appears to also raise complex and novel theories for which there is limited controlling legal precedent.”

It’s getting close to summer and y’all know what that means, Lollapalooza is coming. To build some hype for the annual music festival the good folks over at Lollapalooza have released the big names that’ll be partaking in the concert event of 2025 featuring some heavy hitters.

Taking to Instagram Tuesday (March 18), Lollapalooza revealed their deep line up, which would be headlined by the likes of A$AP Rocky, Tyler, The Creator (whom Kanye West hates now too for some reason), Doechii, Olivia Rodrigo, and Sabrina Carpenter amongst others. Joining them for the festivities will be the follow music superstars such as T-Pain, Mariah the Scientist, Luke Combs and a gang of other artists you’ve probably never heard of. Still, if they were invited to perform, they must have a loyal fanbase out there willing to shell out big bucks to see them take the stage too, right?

The four-day music festival is set to hit Grant Park in Chicago, Ill., from July 31 to Aug. 3. According to Hypebeast, ticket prices will range from reasonable to ridiculous depending on how bad you want to be a part of the Lollapalooza experience.
Per Hypebeast:
The four-day general admission tickets start at $385 USD and the four-day GA+ tickets includes access to two GA+ lounges, a full-service bar and expedited entry and starts at $715 USD. As for the VIP tickets for all four days, it starts at $1,500 USD and four-day Platinum tickets start at $4,500 USD. Look out for the day to day schedule arriving soon.
The people over at Lollapalooza must not know we’ll probably be in a recession by the time July 31 rolls around. Just sayin’.

Teyana Taylor’s legal team alleges that ex-husband Iman Shumpert leaked the details of their divorce, casting her in a bad light.
According to reports, lawyers for Teyana Taylor have filed a request for her ex-husband Iman Shumpert to be held in contempt of court in addition to being locked up in jail for 20 days and to pay fines for leaking the details of their divorce. In the documents, the legal team states that Taylor has been the subject of online hate because of the information of the settlement, some of which has been presented incorrectly.

Taylor is insistent that both parties only were awarded the properties by the court – she recieved four, while Shumpert received three which includes a condo in Miami, Florida that she claimed he had gifted to her. The actress and singer received a tour bus which she states she paid for, as well as a Maybach she purchased after Shumpert ‘crashed, totaled, and abandoned her Rolls Royce without replacing it.’
Taylor, meanwhile, is enjoying a powerful surge in her personal and professional life. An Oscars afterparty photo with actor Aaron Pierre has sparked rumors that the two are romantically involved, and the 34-year-old is fresh off of modeling in Paris, France as well as a second collaboration with Air Jordan as well as roles in two Netflix movies and an undisclosed role in a film set for Hulu with Glenn Close. She alleges that Shumpert’s leak was also to promote a new rap song that’s he’s featured on.
The request is the latest development in an acrimonious split between the former GQ Magazine ‘Sexiest Couple on Earth’. The 34-year-old Shumpert is in the midst of his new career as a Twitch gamer as well as the founder of a new cannabis brand, TSA Approved, after last playing in the NBA in 2021 with the Brooklyn Nets. He’s reportedly paying $8,000 in child support to Taylor for their two daughters, Junie and Rue.

Nick Cannon has made quite the name for himself over the years as he’s fathered more children than there are members of the Wayans family (that’s saying something). But if you thought the man would be falling back from having anymore kids, you got another thing coming.

According to Page Six, the “Johnny Appleseed” of the Hip-Hop culture says that as long as there is breath in his body and his private parts remain potent, he will continue to have as many children as the good Lord allows him. He’s perfectly content single-handedly helping the global population grow. In his latest episode of his and Courtney Bee’s We Playin’ Spades podcast, the father of 12 hosted the likes of NFL players Ryan Clark and Channing Crowder, who revealed they had vasectomies following the birth of quite a few of their children. Clark and Channing insinuated that maybe Nick should follow suit as he’s got more kids than Wu-Tang Clan members.

Naturally, Nick pushed back on their advice and stated that as long as he can get busy, he’ll be keeping the maternity ward in hospitals humming if he has anything to say about it.
Per Page Six:
After the former athletes compared how their vasectomies were done, the “Gigolo” rapper said he felt like he was “being judged.”
Bee then asked her co-host if he would have more children with one of the women he already has a child with or outsource to find a new woman to procreate with.
“I don’t know,” he said. “That’s the thing. I leave it to the Lord.”
Cannon first became a dad in 2011 when he welcomed twins Monroe and Moroccan, now 13, with his ex-wife, Mariah Carey.
Nick Cannon then went on to have a gang of kids with multiple women over the years. While some may be appalled by that fact, the truth is it seems like he’s been taking his daddy duties seriously and has been a good father to all his children. For that alone we can’t really hate on the man.
Still, we do feel that man needs to chill. But hey, when you have your family jewels insured for $10 million you have to show and prove they’re still in perfectly good working condition, right? Is that how that works?
What do y’all think about Nick Cannon not giving up his baby making days? Let us know in the comments section below.
