Get ready, MOA! TOMORROW X TOGETHER is gearing up to hit the road later this year, and announced a series of world tour dates on Tuesday (Jan. 17), taking place across Asia and the United States starting this March.

The trek — officially titled Act: Sweet Mirage — will see members members Yeonjun, Soobin, Beomgyu, Taehyun and HueningKai doing 21 shows across 13 cities, starting with a pair of dates in Seoul on March 25-26 before heading to Singapore and Taipei, Taiwan. April will see the K-pop group travel across Japan, while May holds the band’s U.S. dates, with stops in Charlotte, Belmont Park, Los Angeles and more.

Didn’t see your city in TXT’s tour announcement? Future dates may be on the horizon, as the official tour poster tells fans there’s “more to come.”

TXT’s Act: Sweet Mirage world tour will support the group’s forthcoming album, The Name Chapter: Temptation, which is set for a Jan. 27 release date. The mini album’s tracklist and official poster are set to drop on Jan. 19, while the album preview will arrive on Jan. 22. Two additional teasers for the project’s lead single will be shared on Jan. 24 and 25. Following the EP’s release, the K-pop group will perform a special showcase on Jan. 28.

The Name Chapter: Temptation will be the group’s first music release since the arrival of its fourth mini EP, minisode 2: Thursday’s Child. That project was a hit for the K-pop stars. It spent a total of 14 weeks on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart, where it peaked at No. 4. Thursday’s Child achieved even more success on the Top Current Album Sales chart, where it spent 20 weeks on the tally and hit No. 1.

Taylor Swift Celebrates ‘Anti-Hero’s Hot 100 Success & Praises SZA

Taylor Swift is no anti-hero when it comes to lifting up other female artists during her own career wins. On Tuesday (Jan. 17), the 33-year-old pop star celebrated her newest accolade — “Anti-Hero” becoming her longest-leading Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 — and took a moment to gush over SZA, whose album SOS has been a fierce competitor with Swift’s Midnights on the charts.

“What on Earth,” Swift wrote on Instagram Stories, sharing a post from Billboard‘s official account about “Anti-Hero”‘s eight weeks at No. 1. “I love you guys.”

With its eighth non-consecutive week in the Hot 100 top spot, the Midnights lead single has now officially surpassed the seven-week reign of Swift’s 2014 smash “Blank Space,” previously her longest-running No. 1. At No. 2 this week is SZA’s “Kill Bill,” a new career-high ranking for the R&B star.

Swift made a point of shouting out SZA’s impressive runner-up spot in her post, writing, “PS – Been listening to @SZA’s album nonstop.”

“Absolutely adore her music,” the “All Too Well” singer added. “So much love and respect for her!!”

Though Swift stands at No. 1 and SZA at No. 2 on this week’s Hot 100, the two musicians’ positions on the Billboard 200 are actually flip-flopped. SZA’s SOS just logged a fifth consecutive week at No. 1, while Swift’s Midnights, which itself debuted in the top spot, is currently in the runner-up position.

Swift’s recent praise follows not long after SZA showed some love to Midnights on Twitter, putting to rest a rumor started by warring fans that the two artists were locked in a contentious rivalry for No. 1. “Uhh I feel silly that I even have to say this but i see supporters arguing and I hate that,” SZA tweeted earlier this month. “I don’t have beef w ANYONE especially not Taylor lmao I genuinely loved her album and the writing!”

“Everyone’s jus tryna do their BEST as we all should,” she’d added at the time. “LOVE TO EVERYONE.”

9 Biggest Revelations From ‘The Price of Glee’

To love Glee is to know that the hit Fox TV series is haunted by several startling tragedies. Most notably, the high-profile deaths of stars Cory Monteith, who passed away from an accidental drug overdose in 2013, Mark Salling, who died by suicide in 2018 after pleading guilty to possession of child pornography, and Naya Rivera, who suffered a drowning accident in 2020.

This phenomenon is the basis for Investigation Discovery’s new docuseries, The Price Of Glee. Airing roughly eight years after Glee wrapped in 2015, the project chronicles the untimely deaths of both cast and crew members and details behind-the-scenes moments of alleged tension and drama, beginning with a fitting quote about the show from creator Ryan Murphy: “What started off as being such a great celebration of love and acceptance ultimately became about darkness and death.”

It’s important to note that neither Murphy nor any of the main cast are involved in the three-part documentary, which premiered Monday (Jan. 16) on ID and is available for streaming on Discovery+ that same day. In fact, some of the former New Directioners have denounced the docuseries altogether.

Kevin McHale, who played Artie Abrams, likened it to trash, and in December told In Touch that he and his castmates had “nothing to do with it.” Chord Overstreet, who played Sam Evans, called it “bulls–t” on the Elvis Duran radio show.

The stories that are included in The Price of Glee come from various crew members and some actors who served as stand-ins for the main cast. Rivera’s father, George Rivera, is also featured in the doc, as are a couple of Cory Monteith’s former friends — one of whom is Stephen Kramer Glickman, a supporting actor on Nickelodeon’s Big Time Rush, who claimed to have befriended Monteith while their respective shows were filming near each other.

YouTube Renews Coachella Deal Through 2026

YouTube and Goldenvoice have once again renewed their livestream and content partnership agreement for the Coachella Valley Music and Arts festival, striking an agreement that keeps the mega two-weekend festival on the Google-owned video platform through 2026.

First signed in 2011, the streaming partnership was renewed in 2018 through 2021 — the 2020 and 2021 versions of the festival were postponed due to COVID-19. Last year, the two companies worked out an agreement to air the festival’s post-pandemic return.

Besides multichannel live streaming and on-demand video from performances, the partnership enables fan shopping for Coachella merch, exclusive content for YouTube Premium subscribers, live chat, and onsite activations with YouTube creators and artists.

YouTube’s global head of music Lyor Cohen called the renewal “an absolute honor” and said the partnership would “bring the magic of Coachella to music fans,” while Goldenvoice president Paul Tollett said the agreement “brings Coachella to everyone around the world.”

Coachella is scheduled to take place April 14-16 and April 21-23.

Patrick Moxey’s New Helix Records to Onboard Entire Roster to Web3

Patrick Moxey is bringing the entire roster of Helix Records, the EDM label he launched last year after selling his stake in Ultra Records, into the world of Web3 — starting with an NFT membership pass.

Starting in February, the Helix Records Genesis Pass will act as a digital passport to the Helix ecosystem and grant holders a free music NFT from one of the roster’s flagship artists, which includes electronic duo Snakehips and house DJ Marshall Jefferson. Later in 2023, NFT holders will get the chance to access VIP tickets, backstage passes and submit music directly to the label for feedback. One holder will win a 1:1 conversation with Moxey.

Moxey — who played a key role in the success of Avicii, Kygo, deadmau5 and David Guetta through Ultra Records — aims to make Web3 and NFTs a foundational part of the new venture.

“I hope to make a company that’s much bigger than my last company within the next five years,” he said. “We really plan on making NFTs open a whole new door for you [the fan] that go way beyond the door that was available through the traditional record business.”

Helix Records will onboard its entire roster of electronic artists into Web3 and support them through the transition to NFTs and blockchain technology. The label believes this strategy will build a closer connection between artists and fans, and potentially enable supporters to benefit from the future success of their favorite acts. The label also hopes that NFTs will give them better insights into their artists’ fan bases, allowing them to identify and connect with the biggest and most active community members.

To power the label’s Web3 activations, Helix Records has partnered with FUEL — a software platform which enables artists and labels to build their own NFT storefront and control their branding. Billed as “Shopify for NFTs,” musicians have used the software to sell concert tickets, singles and collectibles to Web3 and Web2 fans.

“We are super happy to add Helix Records to our roster of musicians,” said FUEL founder Thanh Binh Tran. “Seeing pioneers like Patrick use our software gives us a glance at the future of music NFTs.”

While the Web3 hype has mostly died down since the dizzying NFT sales of 2021 and early 2022, artists and labels still see some promise in blockchain technology.

“Any way of making money for a musician is a blessing, because there are so few possibilities left,” said Marshall Jefferson, house DJ pioneer and one of the flagship artists on Moxey’s new label group. “An open area like this where your music actually has value and you can make a living of is an area worth exploring.”

The Helix Record Genesis collection will launch in February. The final date and details on supply and pricing will be announced shortly.

“TODAY MARKS THE 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY FOR MY 1ST COMMERCIAL ALBUM! I WANT TO TAKE A MOMENT TO REFLECT & THINK ABOUT THE PPL I MISS & THE TIMES WE HAD,” the 33-year-old wrote on Instagram Monday, when he shared a clip of the video. “RIP YAMS & VIRGIL , THANK YOU FOR THE HELP ON THIS 1ST PROJECT. LONG. LIVE. A$AP. ANGELS. PT 2 AWGE EDIT OUT NOW!”

“Angels Pt. 2” picks up where Rocky’s original “Angels” video left off: The rapper, surrounded by his posse of friends, dominating neighborhoods in both New York City and California. A$AP and his crew find themselves riding around town in flashy cars, gambling on sidewalks, smoking and generally doing as they please. To honor Yams, Rocky placed a halo on his head in the moments he appeared in the video. Yams, one of the founding members of the A$AP Mob, died from an acute mixed drug intoxication in January 2015.

Long. Live. ASAP was released on Jan. 15, 2013. The set — which features guest spots from Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Schoolboy Q and more — spent a total of 79 weeks on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart and peaked at No. 1. The album spawned four singles: “Goldie,” “Wild for the Night,” “Fashion Killa” and “F—in’ Problems,” the latter of which peaked at No. 8 and spent a total of 27 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100.

The Weeknd Communes With the Na’vi in Otherworldly ‘Nothing Is Lost (You Give Me Strength)’ Video

The Weeknd dropped his otherworldly video for “Nothing Is Lost (You Give Me Strength)” on Monday (Jan. 16). The dreamy song from the soundtrack to the box office juggernaut Avatar: The Way of Water is spotlighted in the Quentin Deronzier-directed visual featuring a frantic adventure for the film’s signature lanky blue-skinned Na’Vi, who frolic in their lush Pandora home before a raging forest fire forces them to flee to a watery world.

The singer is briefly featured at the beginning of the clip, his profile illuminated by blue light amid flashes of fire and water before the action turns to the lush, bioluminescent jungles of Pandora. We watch as the Na’Vi sprint while fire engulfs their world, frantically running through the embers and flames to the strains of the song’s lush orchestration. The moody underwater shots give a small glimpse of the magical world conjured by director James Cameron in the long-awaited sequel to the 2009 original, the highest-grossing film of all time.

“Nothing is Lost” was written by the Weeknd, with production by Swedish House Mafia and the film’s score composer, Simon Franglen; it plays over the end credits of the movie that is already closing in on global box office receipts nearing $2 billion. The track takes a sonic cue from Gerard McCann’s “Cry Little Sister” from the 1987 cult classic The Lost Boys.

“I thought I could protect you from paying for my sins/ You give me strength/ I would do either way/ Nothing’s lost/ No more pain, just you,” the Weekend sings on the track.
