Sean “Diddy” Combs is making sure his fans have the fastest access to his spirits. On Tuesday (May 23), the Hip-Hop mogul announced Diddy Direct, a platform aimed at helping consumers, and retailers, have access to his brands like DeLeón, Ciroc and more.

The launch features a digital ad campaign that features DJ Khaled, of course. In a digital short, Diddy and Khaled are seen on the links playing golf, and while clubs and carts are seen, the focus is more on the reveal of Diddy Direct. The platform allows access for consumers and retailers to find out about or purchase the Combs Spirits portfolio that includes CÎROC Vodkas, CÎROC Spritz, CÎROC VS  & DeLeón Tequila varieties. Most recently launched is the limited edition Cîroc Honey Melon, which Diddy Direct makes easy to pinpoint yourself a bottle.

“This platform is a game-changer for the spirits industry, and we’re proud to offer consumers (all you lushes out there) and retailers (nightclubs, restaurants, and liquor stores) direct access to our portfolio of premium spirits,” said Combs, Chairman of Combs Global, in a statement. “With Diddy Direct, we’re setting a new standard for direct to retailer & direct-to-consumer experiences and bringing the best of Combs Spirits directly to anyone, anywhere in the country.”

The idea is that you can be out of town and Diddy Direct’s search functionality will allow to locate a bar, club or restaurant that serves your favorite DeLeón Tequila, for example.

Diddy Direct is available now, if you’re over 21, and you can get more information right here: www.diddydirect.com. Watch the hilarious campaign spot featuring Diddy and DJ Khaled below. Looks like Diddy’s golf game needs work, respectfully.

Kim Kardashian Says She Couldn’t ‘Force Her Beliefs’ on Kanye West

Kim Kardashian is candidly reflecting on her divorce from Kanye West.

The SKIMS founder joined Jay Shetty’s On Purpose podcast this week, where she revealed that her different beliefs from the controversial rapper proved to be difficult. “You can’t force your beliefs and project that on someone that thinks something totally different,” she told the host of her ex-husband, who has been a vocal supporter of people like former President Donald Trump and even Adolf Hitler. “It’s OK to realize that this life is so short, and you should go and find the people that do align with what you really believe in.”

While she called her six-year marriage to Ye “beautiful” rather than a “failure,” she shared that she couldn’t “help” someone who doesn’t want to be helped. “You can’t really force things upon other people,” she explained. “You can’t expect them to be where you’re at [and] at your level.”

Kardashian filed for divorce from West in February 2021 after six years of marriage. Both sides initially said that the split would be amicable, but the relationship between the two superstars has turned increasingly tense in the two years since, especially amid Kardashian’s romance with comedian Pete Davidson in 2022.

“I think I’ll always be a hopeless romantic and always want to be in love and definitely love sharing my life with someone and love creating a life with someone,” Kardashian told Shetty, noting that she hasn’t dated anyone since Davidson.

Blake Shelton Plans to ‘Say Yes’ to Having a Personal Life After Leaving ‘The Voice’

Blake Shelton‘s exit from The Voice is imminent, and the country star is looking forward to taking time off once he leaves his spinning red chair for the last time.

“I want to finally have the opportunity to say yes to more stuff in my personal life and not say, ‘Let me check,’ or just flat-out no,” the singer told Entertainment Tonight on Monday during part one of The Voice‘s season 23 finale.

Part of that plan will certainly entail spending time with wife Gwen Stefani and her three sons — Kingston, Zuma and Apollo — at Ten Point Ranch, his rural estate outside Tishomingo, Okla. However, one-on-one time with his pop-star wife could be brief considering she’s set to return to The Voice as a coach for season 24, alongside Niall Horan, John Legend and newcomer Reba McEntire.

There’s been plenty for the family to celebrate lately, including Shelton receiving his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame earlier this month. “I’ve had enough parties thrown for me in the last few weeks,” he quipped. “[Gwen] goes, ‘We’re just celebrating you. You’re good, right?’ Yeah, I’m good. Please, no more parties for me.”

Heading into Tuesday night’s (May 23) finale, Team Blake’s NOIVAS and Grace West will face off for the season 23 trophy against Team Kelly’s D. Smooth, Team Niall’s Gina Miles, and Team Chance’s sibling trio Sorelle. Adam Levine is also set to return for the results show to perform Maroon 5’s new single “Middle Ground” and help send off his old buddy.

Why Luis Miguel Is (Still) One of Latin Music’s Biggest Pop Stars

Forty years since launching his career, Luis Miguel is one of Latin America’s biggest pop stars today.

Shortly after announcing his highly-anticipated tour on April 19, the crooner — and one of the top vocalists of his generation — sold out multiple dates on the 40-plus dates stint that is set to kick off Aug. 3 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

How? A reminder that before Bad Bunny broke box office records, the “Ahora Te Puedes Marchar” singer was the top grossing Latin touring act. Luis Miguel’s Mexico Por Siempre Tour (2018-19) grossed $101.4 million and sold 965,000 tickets across 116 shows. It was the highest-grossing Latin tour in Boxscore history until last year when Bad Bunny and Daddy Yankee passed him.

Following multiple shows in Argentina and Chile, the Luis Miguel Tour 2023 will anchor in the U.S. visiting major cities such as Chicago, Las Vegas, Miami and Los Angeles. The tour, produced by CMN, will then head to Mexico where it will wrap up Dec. 17 in Guadalajara, Jalisco.

Without even having to drop new music — his last album was ¡MÉXICO Por Siempre! in 2017 and won album of the year at the Latin Grammy Awards — the elusive artist continues to be a mainstay on the Billboard charts (as the pop artist with the most entries on the Hot Latin Songs survey) and a top touring act across the U.S. and Latin America.

Below, five reasons why Luis Miguel is still one of Latin music’s biggest pop stars four decades since becoming “El Sol de México (The Mexican Sun)”:

Could Brandi Carlile Become the First Woman in 5 Years to Receive a Grammy Nod for Producer of the Year, Non-Classical?

Only nine women have received Grammy nominations for producer of the year, non-classical in the 49 years the Recording Academy has presented that award. Despite that tepid track record, you might want to bet on Brandi Carlile to be in the running when the nominations in that category are announced later this year. It will be the category’s 50th year.

Carlile produced Brandy Clark’s eponymous album, which was released May 19, and reteamed with Shooter Jennings to co-produce Tanya Tucker’s Sweet Western Sound, which is due June 2. That album is Tucker’s long-awaited follow-up to While I’m Livin’. Carlile and Jennings won Grammys as producers of While I’m Livin’, which was voted best country album.

No woman has been nominated for producer of the year, non-classical since Linda Perry five years ago. And no woman has ever won in the category, either on her own or as part of a collaboration.

The women who have been nominated for producer of the year, non-classical are Wendy Melvoin and Lisa Coleman (of Prince & the Revolution, 1984); Janet Jackson (alongside Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, 1989); Mariah Carey (alongside Walter Afanasieff, 1991); Paula Cole (1997); Sheryl Crow (1998); Lauryn Hill (1998); Lauren Christy (of The Matrix, 2003); and Perry (2018).

It’s a very different story in the producer of the year, classical category. Three women have won in that category, which was introduced five years after producer of the year, non-classical. And one of those women, Judith Sherman, has won seven times, which puts her in a tie with David Frost, Steven Epstein and Robert Woods for the most wins by anyone in the category’s history. Joanna Nickrenz has won twice (once alongside Marc Aubort). Elaine Martone has won once.

Carlile has become a Grammy darling in recent years. She has won nine Grammys, including three at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards in March. She produced her eponymous 2005 debut album, and co-produced her fourth album in 2012, but the rest of her studio albums have been produced by others.

Carlile moved into production for other artists with The Secret Sisters’ You Don’t Own Me Anymore (2017) and Saturn Return (2020). She co-produced both albums with Tim and Phil Hanseroth, with whom she also co-produced the 2017 Various Artists album Cover Stories. Carlile teamed with Dave Cobb to produce Lucius’ 2022 album Second Nature.

In an interview with Billboard’s Jessica Nicholson, Clark praised Carlile’s skills as a producer. “She pushed me a lot,” Clark said. “I’ve never been as challenged by a producer as I was by her.”

Clark noted Carlisle’s approach to narrowing down the songs that ultimately make up the album: “I gave her like 18-24 songs and asked her to pick about a dozen. I liked them all, but I was surprised by some of her choices. She told me, ‘I chose the songs that I thought sounded like you wrote them in your bedroom, and not in the writing room.’”

That’s the kind of sound advice that shows what a good producer can do.

Cardi B Asks ‘Drag Race’ Stars Violet Chachki & Gottmik to Direct Her Next Music Video

We don’t know when Cardi B will release new music, but we do know who she wants to be behind the cameras for her next video.

At a private party at The Bungalow in Santa Monica, Calif., on Monday night, Cardi B introduced a new summer-ready lime flavor to her Whipshots boozy whipped-cream line — and she wasn’t alone behind the bar. The superstar rapper invited RuPaul’s Drag Race alumni Violet Chachki (season 7 winner) and Gottmik (season 13 runner-up) to mix some cocktails with her, including a Cardi-rita topped with lime Whipshots.

‘We Just Went Double Platinum’: Cardi B Celebrates Vodka-Infused Whipshots…

Cardi took the opportunity with the queens to do a little business. “Can I ask you guys something?” Cardi said to the pair. “Can you guys direct my music video?”

The pair were definitely game. “Bi—, I would pay you to direct it!” Chachki shot back. “That would be my dream job!”

“Are you kidding me?” Gottmik chimed in, grabbing on to Cardi’s Pucci-bodysuited waist. “The way we’re going to cinch this little waist even smaller!”

“I love you guys,” Cardi added. “You guys are so creative, so amazing. And I really want you to direct my music video.”

“Y’all heard that, right?” Chachki confirmed, making sure the moment was captured on video.

When Cardi first joined the Bungalow crowd, she explained why she decided to team up with Starco Brands on Whipshots, which celebrated selling 2 million cans of the alcoholic whipped cream back in March.

“I remember when we were discussing this product during the pandemic, I just knew it was going to work,” she said. “I mean, who doesn’t like whipped cream? I thought it was sexy and fun like me. I’m just a fun-ass bi—.”

About the new lime flavor, Cardi added: “I hope you guys enjoy this flavor. It’s really cute. It tastes like Fruity Pebbles to me. But it’s strong, don’t get it twisted. This ain’t your f—ing Fruity Pebbles!”

It remains to be seen when Cardi will release her next album — which will be her first since her debut project, 2018’s Invasion of Privacy. Since then, she dropped the four-week Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 “WAP” with Megan Thee Stallion in 2020, plus her solo chart-topper “Up” in 2021. She also teamed up with GloRilla on the Hot 100 top 10 “Tomorrow 2” late last year.

Watch Cardi make her way through the Bungalow crowd below:

Here’s Why Lupita Nyong’o Is ‘Not Surprised’ About Janelle Monae Dating Rumors

No, Lupita Nyong’o isn’t dating Janelle Monáe, but she’s “not surprised” that she’s been linked to the “Lipstick Lover” singer.

“She has magnetism that they were obviously picking up on,” the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever actress told Rolling Stone about Monáe, who identifies as nonbinary. “She is that enigmatic. People are curious about enigmatic people.”

Nyong’o and Monáe initially met at the 2014 Met Gala, and their immediate closeness ended up sparking dating rumors. “I don’t mind being associated with her in any capacity,” the actress said. “It’s built into her spirit. Her openness creates intimacy onscreen. It’s really cool to see her move from one thing to another and do it with such mastery.”

While Nyong’o isn’t in a romantic relationship with Monáe, she has been dating television host Selema Masekela for some time, and the duo made their relationship Instagram official in December 2022. In the post, the two share various coordinating outfits with the sweet caption, “We just click!”

Monáe, meanwhile, is gearing up to release her long-awaited album, The Age of Pleasure, out June 9 via Wondaland Arts Society / Atlantic Records. The release will be her first studio album since 2018’s Grammy-nominated Dirty Computer.

The star also opened up to Rolling Stone about shedding expectations of being a queer icon. “I’m not obligated to share my story,” the star said for the cover story of the June 2023 issue. “Nobody’s obligated. But I do think it’s powerful for me to talk and give a name to some of these things.”

“You cannot project onto artists. You have to understand that experiences will be had and people will change and evolve and not be the person you look up to,” she added elsewhere in the interview. “As much as you love and care about me, I’m on my own journey that has nothing to do with music, has nothing to do with art.”
