For years, Ariana Grande was usually seen in a signature makeup look that included a thick, winged eyeliner and plump lips.

Nowadays, the “Positions” singer is opting for a more natural makeup look, mostly focused on fluttery lashes and hydrated skin, and she took to TikTok to share a hilarious video poking fun at her younger self.

In the clip posted to Grande’s TikTok page, the star is seen mouthing along to a popular clip from Keeping Up With the Kardashians, in which Kim Kardashian asks her mother Kris Jenner, “Do you think your eyes are a little too smokey for every day?”

Young Thug’s Brother Unfoonk Sentenced to Nine Years in Prison for Violating Probation in RICO Case

Quantavious Grier, brother of rapper Young Thug, was sentenced Monday (June 5) to nine years and six months in prison after investigators said he violated his probation.

According to WSB-TV, in December, Grier (who performs under the name Unfoonk) pleaded guilty to one count of violating the RICO Act and one count of theft by receiving stolen property as part of the wider YSL case involving Young Thug and several other associates. At the time, Grier was sentenced to 12 years in prison, with two years commuted and 10 years probation.

But on May 4, Grier was arrested again in Atlanta for possessing a firearm by a convicted felon, being associated with a criminal street gang to participate in illegal activity and traffic offenses, WSB-TV reports. According to the outlet, at the time of his arrest, Grier was parked at a BP gas station in a black Mercedes G-Wagon with a group of people around the driver’s side door; in an affidavit, plainclothes officers wrote that they deemed the gathering a possible drug deal. When the SUV pulled away, the officers stopped it, citing a window tint violation and adding that the vehicle smelled like marijuana, which remains illegal in the state of Georgia.

WSB-TV reports that the officer who wrote the affidavit noted a handgun in plain view inside the vehicle: “Mr. Grier advised that the gun was clean, which prompted me to believe he had knowledge of the firearm being there.”

During Monday’s sentencing, Judge Ural Glanville stated that Grier hadn’t paid $141.08 in probation fees or started his community service, but that the deciding factor in his sentencing was being caught with a firearm. “Part of the special condition was that you weren’t supposed to possess a gun,” he added. While Grier’s attorney had asked for a probation revocation of two years in prison, Glanville ultimately handed down the longer sentence.

“The issue I find aggravating in this particular circumstance are several. You got arrested with a gun within six months of you being placed on probation,” Glanville said during the sentencing. “All you had to do was complete your probation and do what you were supposed to do.”

An attorney for Grier did not immediately respond to Billboard‘s request for comment.

Grier was indicted alongside Young Thug (real name Jeffery Williams), Gunna (real name Sergio Kitchens) and dozens of others in May on accusations that their group, YSL, was not really a record label called “Young Stoner Life” but instead a violent Atlanta street gang called “Young Slime Life.” The charges include allegations of murder, carjacking, armed robbery, drug dealing and illegal firearm possession over the course of the past decade. Though Gunna pleaded out in December, Young Thug remains in prison ahead of trial.

We can’t think of any other game that has been able to live such a long life than Grand Theft Auto V, and it will reportedly get more content to keep it going.

Spotted on Gaming Bible, Grand Theft Auto V is getting a San Andreas story expansion furthering Rockstar Games’ commitment to squeeze out as much green out of its cash cow, GTA Online, while they continue to work on Grand Theft Auto 6.

Per Gaming Bible:

Coming this month, on June 13, fans can expect GTA Online: San Andreas Mercenaries to launch. This free expansion will see players working together to fight Merryweather Security as part of the Los Santos Angels.

Players will take part in missions involving “stealing sensitive data from server farms, conducting raids, and dropping explosive payloads on high-value targets across the state.” Heavy stuff.

Rockstar also promises “spontaneous opportunities” to make money and earn new items in the world by taking down moving targets and completing random events.

The website also reports that GTA Online players can expect a bevy of fixes and quality-of-life improvements to the game, including:

  • When calling Mors Mutual Insurance, you’ll be able to claim all destroyed vehicles at once.
  • An alternate sprint control option (hold to sprint) will be added to the Settings Menu.
  • Custom description tags for garages to help quickly locate your favorite rides.
  • The Willard Eudora and Albany Classique Broadway will become eligible for Taxi Work when using Taxi Liveries.
  • Updates to the Creator to incorporate additional props and weather options, including snow.

Are We Close To Seeing Grand Theft Auto 6?

The news of this GTA Online update comes on the heels of reports Rockstar Games is very close to giving us our first look at Grand Theft Auto 6.

The highly-anticipated game was already the victim of a massive leak that confirmed earlier reports that the game would feature a female playable character, have a Bonnie and Clyde influence, and will take us back to Vice City.

We might catch our first look at Summer Game Fest or the upcoming Xbox Games Showcase, so stay tuned.

Japanese Breakfast’s Michelle Zauner Reacts to BTS’ Jung Kook Co-Signing Her ‘Crying in H Mart’ Book

Japanese Breakfast lead singer Michelle Zauner has a fan in BTS‘ Jung Kook. Zauner had the perfect reaction when finding out that the BTS vocalist purchased a copy of her 2021 memoir, Crying in H Mart, on Sunday.

Jung Kook sat down for a Weverse Live to speak with fans for nearly two hours. During the casual chat, the K-pop star revealed that he picked up a copy of Zauner’s New York Times bestselling book and held up the book in the live.

After catching wind of Jung Kook’s promo of her novel, Zauner took to her Instagram Story and wrote, “Excuse me Jung Kook has bought a copy of Crying in H Mart!!!!!” Over on Twitter, she reposted a tweet that informed BTS fans of Jung Kook’s co-sign of the book and quote-tweeted it with several excited exclamation points.

Crying in H Mart is slated to become a feature film. Zauner is currently holding an open casting call to see who will play her in the movie. Meanwhile, the director was recently announced to be White Lotus star Will Sharpe.

“I am so relieved to have found Will Sharpe and am beyond delighted that he will be the director of Crying in H Mart,” Zauner shared on Instagram. “I believe his sensitivity, as a director and an actor, and his own personal experience, having also grown up between two cultures, will be tremendous assets.”

She continued, “His work on Flowers and The Electrical Life of Louis Wain speak to his ability to conjure lofty, vulnerable performances, to find humor and grace within the tragedy of the everyday. They are a precious collection of talents that make him the perfect fit for this film.”

Nicki Minaj Announces Album Release Date

Nicki Minaj confirmed her first album in five years is finally on the way Monday (June 5), revealing an upcoming release date.

“10/20/23 The Album,” she tweeted alongside emojis of a CD and a pink bow, sending the Barbz into a frenzy.

Minaj’s upcoming fifth studio album will come five years after 2018’s Queen, which peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200. The rest of her studio albums — 2010’s Pink Friday, 2012’s Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded and 2014’s The Pinkprint — have all reached the top five of the all-genre albums tally, with Pink Friday and Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded reaching No. 1.

Her upcoming, yet-untitled album could mark her first proper release under her own record label, Heavy On It, which she announced earlier this year on her Queen Radio show.

Her addition to Sexyy Redd and Tay Keith’s “Pound Town 2,” which debuted at No. 66 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the week ending June 10, earned Minaj her 130th entry on the all-genre songs tally. Minaj’s “Princess Diana” remix with Ice Spice earned the rapper her 22nd top 10 hit on the chart when it debuted at No. 4 in April. She’s also collaborated with YoungBoy Never Broke Again on “WTF” and Kim Petras on “Alone” this year. “Red Ruby Da Sleeze” marks her only solo release of 2023, and the song reached No. 13 on the Hot 100.

She’ll also be featured on the upcoming star-studded soundtrack for Greta Gerwig’s Barbie, which has a theatrical release date set for July 21.

Tyler James Williams Confronts Questions On His Sexuality

HipHopWired Featured Video

PaleyFest LA 2023 -

Tyler James Williams had more than a few words for those speculating about his sexuality, addressing the matter through social media.

The Abbott Elementary star sent out a message celebrating Pride Month on Sunday (June 4) through his Instagram Stories, taking the time to address the rampant questions about his own sexuality.

“Usually I wouldn’t address stuff like this, but I feel like it as a conversation is bigger than me. I’m not gay, but I think the culture of trying to ‘find’ some kind of hidden trait or behavior that a closed person ‘let slip’ is very dangerous,” the Golden Globes winner began.

“Overanalyzing someone’s behavior in an attempt to ‘catch’ them directly contributes to the anxiety a lot of queer and queer-questioning people feel when they fear living in their truth,” he continued. “It makes the most pedestrian of conversations and interactions in spaces feel less safe for our gay brothers and sisters and those who may be questioning.”

The former child star of Everybody Hates Chris also pointed out how such speculation can be harmful in reinforcing stereotypes about what straight men are supposed to be.

“Being straight doesn’t look one way. Being gay doesn’t look one way,” he wrote. “And what may seem like harmless fun and conversation may actually be sending a dangerous message to those struggling with real issues,” he wrote. “I refuse to inadvertently contribute to that message.”

The 30-year-old star has been pivotal as teacher Gregory Eddie in the success of the ABC sitcom helmed by Quinta Brunson with Emmy Award-winning actress Sheryl Lee Ralph as part of the cast. Abbott Elementary was renewed for a third season by the network in January of this year, and the previous two seasons are now available to watch on Hulu.

Williams concluded his message by saying “Happy Pride to all of my queer and questioning brothers, sisters, and individuals. I pray that you feel seen in ways that make you feel safe in the celebration that is this month. As an ally, I continue to be committed to assisting in that where I can and helping to cultivate a future where we are all accepted and given permission to be ourselves,” he said, signing off his message with a white heart emoji.
