Morgan Wallen’s ‘One Thing at a Time’ Back Atop Billboard 200 Chart

A familiar face is back at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart (dated June 24), as Morgan Wallen’s One Thing at a Time climbs 2-1 to collect its 13th nonconsecutive week atop the list. The set earned 111,500 equivalent album units in the United States in the week ending June 15 (down 4%), according to Luminate.

One Thing at a Time ties with three other albums for the most weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in the last 10 years. It matches the total weeks at No. 1 of Bad Bunny’s Un Verano Sin Ti (in 2022), Drake’s Views (2016), and the Frozen soundtrack (2014). The last album to have more than 13 weeks at No. 1 was Adele’s 21, with 24 nonconsecutive weeks in 2011-12.

One Thing at a Time also ties Views to become Republic Records’ album with the most weeks at No. 1 ever on the Billboard 200. One Thing was released via Big Loud/Mercury/Republic, while Views was issued through Young Money/Cash Money/Republic.

Also in the top 10 of the new Billboard 200 albums chart, Niall Horan claims his highest-charting album since 2017 as The Show starts at No. 2, while Noah Kahan’s Stick Season surges into the top 10 for the first time (jumping 100-3) after its deluxe reissue and debut on vinyl.

The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week in the U.S. based on multi-metric consumption as measured in equivalent album units, compiled by Luminate. Units comprise album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA). Each unit equals one album sale, or 10 individual tracks sold from an album, or 3,750 ad-supported or 1,250 paid/subscription on-demand official audio and video streams generated by songs from an album. The new June 24, 2023-dated chart will be posted in full on Billboard‘s website on Wednesday (June 21), one day later than usual, owed to the Juneteenth holiday in the U.S. on June 19. For all chart news, follow @billboard and @billboardcharts on both Twitter and Instagram.

Of One Thing at a Time’s 111,500 equivalent album units earned in the week ending June 15, SEA units comprise 105,000 (down 3%, equaling 140.74 million on-demand official streams of the set’s 36 songs), album sales comprise 4,500 (down 1%) and TEA units comprise 2,000 (down 4%). One Thing debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart dated March 18 and spent it first 12 weeks at No. 1. It stepped aside for the last two weeks, when Stray Kids’ 5-STAR debuted atop the tally (June 17 chart) and Taylor Swift’s Midnights returned to No. 1 (June 10).

Horan’s The Show starts at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, marking his third consecutive top five-charting effort (comprising all three of his solo releases). The set launches with 80,500 equivalent album units. Of that sum, album sales comprise 68,000 (making it the top-selling album of the week), SEA units comprise 12,000 (equaling 15.42 million on-demand official streams of the set’s tracks) and TEA units comprise 500. Horan previously hit the top five with Heartbreak Weather (No. 4 in 2020) and Flicker (No. 1, 2017).

The new album was preceded by the single “Heaven,” which peaked in the top 25 on both the Pop Airplay and Adult Pop Airplay charts in April. It hit No. 62 on the Billboard Hot 100 in March.

The Show’s sturdy sales start was bolstered by an array of available physical editions: eight deluxe boxed sets containing a CD and branded merch, a signed CD sold through Horan’s webstore, a Target-exclusive CD with an alternative cover and a poster packaged inside, a zine CD package sold through his webstore, six vinyl variants (including color variants for Target, Spotify, Urban Outfitters and his webstore) and a cassette.

Kahan’s Stick Season, which was released in October of 2022, jumps into the top 10 for the first time, as it bolts 100-3 after its deluxe reissue and vinyl debut on June 9. The set earned 71,000 equivalent album units (up 574%) in the week ending June 15. Of that sum, SEA units comprise 48,000 (equaling 60.91 million on-demand official streams of its collected tracks, up 388%), album sales comprise 22,500 (up 3,080%) and TEA units comprise 500 (up 1,036%).

Stick Season, Kahan’s third studio album, was reissued on June 9 with seven additional tracks. It also garnered its first pressing on vinyl. The album originally debuted and peaked at No. 14 on the Oct. 29, 2022-dated list, and logged 28 nonconsecutive weeks on the tally before its deluxe reissue and vault into the top 10.

Swift’s Midnights rises 5-4 on the Billboard 200 with 69,000 equivalent album units (down 17%); Metro Boomin’s Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse soundtrack rises 7-5 in its second week (54,000; down 18%); Stray Kids’ 5-STAR falls 1-6 in its second week (53,000; down 79%); and Lil Durk’s Almost Healed dips 6-7 (50,000; down 26%).

A trio of former No. 1s rounds out the top 10, as SZA’s SOS climbs 9-8 (49,000 equivalent album units earned; down 3%); Wallen’s Dangerous: The Double Album bounces back into the top 10 with an 11-9 rise (45,000; down 1%); and Swift’s Lover bumps 12-10 (37,000; down 2%).

Taylor Swift Shouts Out ‘Amazing Dads’ at Pittsburgh Eras Show During Father’s Day Weekend

Taylor Swift took a moment to honor the dads in the crowd at her Eras Tour concert in Pittsburgh on Saturday (June 17).

During the surprise songs portion of her set at Acrisure Stadium, the pop superstar brought out special guest and collaborator Aaron Dessner for the first-ever performance of “Seven.” While introducing the 2020 Folklore track, Swift shouted out all the “amazing dads here” — including The National frontman — who brought their kids to The Eras Tour, in honor of Father’s Day on Sunday (June 18).

“I have a really, really incredible dad, like hasn’t missed a show type of dad. He’s the best and I love him so much,” Swift told the audience. “The song we’re going to play has to do with really fond memories of childhood.”

The singer added, “I know people have complicated relationships with their dad, or with the concept in general, but if you want to think of the people who have played a father figure role in your life, tomorrow and tonight. I’m really grateful for my dad — for anyone out there who spent hours and hours preparing to be at the show with their kid.”

Dessner previously joined Swift onstage during Eras Tour stops in Tampa Bay, Fla., and Nashville for surprise song performances of “The Great War” and “Would’ve, Could’ve, Should’ve,” respectively.

Saturday’s show in Pittsburgh also found Swift confirming that her next official single will be “Cruel Summer,” from her 2019 Lover album.

“You guys have streamed ‘Cruel Summer’ so much right now in 2023” that Republic Records, the star’s label, “just decided to make it the next single.”

Billboard confirmed the news on Friday that Republic will officially start promoting “Cruel Summer” to pop radio stations as of Tuesday (June 20), while continuing to promote her Midnights single “Karma.”

Authorities from the Grant County Sheriff’s Office reported that the incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. local time in the camping area of the festival, with the gunman firing randomly into the crowd. Two people were killed and three others were injured before the gunman was apprehended by authorities. Neither the name of the gunman or the victims have been release.

As reported by NBC, public information officer with the Grant County Sheriff’s Office Kyle Foreman noted, “We don’t know what the motives were or what the intentions were of the shooter and we’ll have to wait and see if we can find that information out later on.”

The second day of the two-day festival, meant to begin Sunday afternoon, has been canceled. A statement posted to the Beyond Wonderland social media accounts says, “We would like to express our sincere appreciation to the local authorities and staff who acted quickly to manage the situation. Our heartfelt thoughts and condolences go out to the family, friends and all those affected by the tragic event.”

Beyond Wonderland is one of Insomniac Event’s longstanding flagship festival brands and is hosted annually at the Gorge, along with other locations. Sunday’s lineup was meant to feature Marshmello, Afrojack, Subtronics and other electronic artists.

Taylor Swift took a minute before singing “Champagne Problems” to take things back a few eras Saturday night (June 17) at Pittsburgh’s Acrisure Stadium.

“‘Cruel Summer’ is a song, I just played it a second ago. I don’t know if you remember. We had a blast, yeah? The one with the bridge where we all screamed,” she reminded fans, referring to the opening Lover section of her live set.

“‘Cruel Summer’ was on the Lover album. That album came out four years ago. And I just need to let you know something: ‘Cruel Summer,’ that song was my pride and joy on that album,” she said of the track featured on her 2019 album, a song that also happens to be a longtime fan-favorite.

Swift explained, “You have conversations before the album comes out. Everybody around weighs in on what they think should be singles. I was finally, finally about to have my favorite song become the single — off of Lover.”

But before summer 2020, which would have been a logical time to drop a cathartic summer anthem, came COVID-19. “I’m not trying to blame the global pandemic that we had,” Swift said, “but that is something that happened that stopped ‘Cruel Summer’ from ever being a single.”

She continued, “No one understands how this is happening, but you guys have streamed ‘Cruel Summer’ so much right now in 2023” that Republic Records, her label, “just decided to make it the next single.”

Billboard confirmed the news on Friday that Republic will officially start promoting “Cruel Summer” to pop radio stations as of Tuesday, June 20, while continuing to promote Midnights single “Karma.”

“Cruel Summer” returned to the Billboard Hot 100 dated June 3, after it spent two weeks on the chart in September 2019. On the June 17 Hot 100, it ranks at No. 47, with 9.6 million official streams, 2.6 million radio airplay audience impressions and 1,500 downloads sold in the United States June 2-8, according to Luminate.

“Thank you to anyone who’s been listening to that song like 500 times a day,” Swift joked in Pittsburgh.

Mick Jagger, Girlfriend Melanie Hamrick Put Florida House Up for Sale

Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger and his dancer girlfriend Melanie Hamrick have put their Florida home up for sale.

A listing on realtor.com says the lakefront home with four bedrooms and 5.5 baths is listed at $3.499 million — and it looks like the Jagger connection is a key selling point.

“You can’t always get what you want but this house is definitely what you need!” the listing overview says, quoting part of the famous Stones song written by Jagger and Keith Richards. “This magnificent, custom-built Rutenberg home in the premier gated community of The Lake Club was designed with privacy in mind.”

Jagger and Hamrick bought the home in the Lakewood Ranch area east of Bradenton along the Gulf Coast for a little over $1.9 million in October 2020. The property was registered to Hamrick and was chosen mainly because her family lives in the area. Its original purchase price was $1.2 million in 2010.

The overview says the home covers more than 5,700 square feet (529 square meters) in living space and includes features such as a heated saltwater pool, three balconies and a bell tower, top quality kitchen appliances, remote-controlled window treatments and a large media room with a wet bar.

“The possibilities for that room are endless,” the listing says.

Jagger, the 79-year-old Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, and Hamrick, 36, have a 6-year-old son together, Deveraux. They also reside in New York City among other places around the world. Jagger and Hamrick, a former ballerina and choreographer at American Ballet Theatre, have been together since 2014.

Ari Fletcher caught the ire of some fans on Twitter after she allegedly posted the number of Taina Williams. This comes after G Herbo called off his engagement to Williams and fans online have questions about where the Chicago rapper is in all of this back and forth.

From what we can gather online, Ari Fletcher apparently posted then deleted a number said to be connected to Williams’ but it initially wasn’t confirmed. However, Fletcher, the mother of Herbo’s young son, explained that she did so because Fletcher wouldn’t answer the phone while her son visited with his father, thus sparking her to put the number on blast.

“My child was left in her care and she took my son outside somewhere and I called to talk to my son she had my number blocked and told herb mama I can’t have her number and to take it up with herb. If I can’t have a contact on who has my son because you don’t like me then you shouldn’t have my son. So now everybody got your number. Cause find somebody else to play with,” Fletcher wrote.

Continuing her Twitter replies to the criticism, Fletcher added, “His dad left town and I didn’t even know so my baby was left with her which isn’t a problem but at least let me have a contact so I can check on my baby. That’s crazy.”

Williams and Herbo have yet to respond but that does beg the question about the status of their relationship. It was reported over a week ago that Herbo and Williams ended their engagement and declared himself single.

The pair are parents to two children.

On Twitter, the discussion over Ari Fletcher airing out Taina Williams’ number is going strong. Read the reactions below.

Produced by Live Nation (which also helmed the artist’s 2022 U.S. tour), Ferxxo (pronounced Fercho) was set for a 29-city tour that kicked off April 20 at the WAMU Theater in Seattle and visited key cities such as Los Angeles, Las Vegas and New York before wrapping in Miami.

Upon entering the Miami show, you were given special glasses for an immersive, 3D experience after scanning your ticket. These glasses gave you full access to the world of El Ferxxo. At 9:40 p.m., the lights dimmed and a video appeared across large screens, displaying the visual for his single “MXFIX G5” and a message to turn your flash off.

Wearing a beige sports jacket, shorts, white shades, his signature green cap and black-green-neon gloves, Feid arrived on stage to perform the opening track “Chorrito Pa Las Animas.” From the start of the show, he warmly greeted his fans and expressed his excitement for this special evening.

“Thank you very much from the bottom of my heart to everyone who came tonight to ‘Parchar con el Ferxxo’ in Miami Mor. A thousand thanks to everyone who came in green tonight, those who came with El Ferxoo’s glasses, with the cap,” he said, and he finished with, “Remember that if you are going through something bad, leave all that out from the theater. Today we came to have a good time.” “Porque el Ferxxo no se le dedica a cualquier mor (because you don’t dedicate El Ferxxo to whoever),” he added.

Below, check out more highlights from Feid’s concert.

Feid’s energy on stage: Feid’s high-energy performance included big smiles and running across the stage while dancing with his DJs and guitarist, creating a fun and lively atmosphere reminiscent of a boys’ night out.

Heartfelt conversations: He took a moment to recognize how difficult it can be and how hard is to live far away from your country and your family, but how all the sacrifice is worth it. “There are only good people here, special people, people who dream, and if you are going through something ‘nea’ (man), all that will pass. Pure blessings are coming for everyone who is here today.”

Daddy Yankee and Yandel’s surprise appearance: The epic moment in which two of the biggest stars in music surprised Miami fans by singing “Yankee 150,” the remix that premiered yesterday featuring the “Big Boss.” It was euphoric, especially since the “Gasolina” hitmaker announced his retirement in 2022.

Lady Gaga Confirms ‘Chromatica Ball’ Film in Personal Message to Little Monsters

Lady Gaga “can’t wait” for Little Monsters to experience her upcoming Chromatica Ball film.

The pop superstar and Oscar-winning actress confirmed in an Instagram post on Friday (June 16) that she is working hard on numerous artistic projects, including an edit for a movie based on her 2022 headlining concert tour.

“I prepared for months developing my character for Joker, I filmed [Joker: Folie à Deux] for many months (a very introspective time),” Gaga wrote in a lengthy message. “I have been running my start-up Haus Labs, doing philanthropic work, and additionally have been working on The Chromatica Ball film edit.”

She added, “I can say for the first time in many years that my love of making art, music, fashion, and supporting community has never been more fulfilling.”

Her Instagram post also included a black-and-white snapshot of a still frame from the The Chromatica Ball edit. “I can’t WAIT for you to experience it,” she wrote.

The 2022 Chromatica Ball grossed $112.4 million and sold 834,000 tickets from 20 concerts, according to figures reported to Billboard Boxscore. It marked her first outing since the Joanne World Tour in 2017.

Initially slated for summer 2020, the trans-continental Chromatica Ball was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The tour — which visited North America, Europe and Asia — was in support of Gaga’s sixth album, Chromatica, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in 2020.

The 13-time Grammy winner recently partnered with pharmaceutical company Pfizer for a new commercial in an effort to raise migraine awareness. The clip features some of the first professional footage of her Chromatica Ball tour, which wrapped in September.

Gaga also teased on Instagram that she “wrote and produced music for a special project,” without revealing additional details. “I’ve been experiencing my creativity ever since last summer in a really special and private way,” she wrote.

“Thank you for being willing to grow with me so that I can change and transform with the community I love so much,” Gaga concluded her post. “I hope you love all the things I’ve been creating for you and I hope this is a small reminder to you of my deep passion and commitment to art.”

Romeo Santos Delivers Bachata Hits, Brings Out Anuel AA During Miami Tour Stop

A two-hour DJ set by Deejay Mad pumped up the LoanDepot Park (formerly known as Marlins Park) as devoted Romeistas filled up the venue at capacity. At 10:48 p.m., the lights dimmed and a video appeared across the large screens, displaying a phone call between Romeo and his son.

“Daddy has to work,” he said.

Then, wearing a black-and-white blazer, brown shades, and black pants, Santos arrived on stage to perform the opening track “El Pañuelo,” his collaboration with Rosalía. He then sang some of his earlier solo tunes, such as “La Diabla,” “Eres Mia,” “Cancioncitas de Amor” and “Odio.”

“I didn’t come here to talk. Where are all the Latinos this night?” he asked his nearly 40,000 fans.

The Dominican crooner then continued with songs such as “Inmortal,” “Promise,” “Bebo,” “Imitadora,” “Necio” and “Llévame Contigo,” to name a few, before assuring everyone that the “Romeistas are the best fans in the world.”

At 11:30 p.m., Santos left the stage and returned with a new fit — black leather pants and an open, cheetah-print shirt that flaunted his toned, bronzed chest. During this concert block, he delivered some of his popular urban-bachata collaborations such as “Volvi” (Bad Bunny), “X Si Volvemos” (Karol G), “El Farsante” (Ozuna) and “Noche de Sexo” (Wisin y Yandel).

To close off the reggaeton-heavy set, Santos brought out Anuel AA to perform their infectious feature “Ella Quiere Beber,” which hit No. 1 on the Billboard Latin Airplay chart in 2019.

The Puerto Rican trap artist also performed his songs “Sola” and “Mas Rica Que Ayer,” all while Santos jammed on stage with a drink in hand.

“Romeo, you’re my biggest idol and inspiration,” Anuel said to him before giving him a hug and rushing off stage.

At 12:15 a.m., Santos was still intact, and in fact, asked the audience: “Are you sleepy? Now is when the concert is beginning. Where are my Romeistas of more than a decade? The Aventureras?”

This time, sitting on a tall, silver throne, Santos began taking song petitions from the fans to sing in a capella. Some of the timeless Aventura hits he passionately belted were “Angelito,” “Enseñame a Olvidar” and “Hermanita.”

He then dropped a wave of bangers that further prove why he’s the King of Bachata, such as “El Malo,” “Todavia Me Amas,” “Los Infieles,” “Corazoncito,” “La Boda,” “Un Beso” and “Obsesión” — the song that put Aventura on the map in 2002 — before changing to a red leather outfit and closing the night at 1:00 a.m. with “Huellas” and “Propuesta Indecente.”

The Formula Vol. 3 stadium trek wraps on June 24 in Houston and will resume with more than 20 U.S. dates and cities in October and November. For more information, visit here.
