A Swiftie went viral on Twitter after a photo was snapped of them wearing a cape inspired by the singer’s current Billboard Hot 100 hits. The cape displayed Swift’s chart domination, as the top 10 spots right now are all taken up by songs from her latest album, The Tortured Poets Department. This isn’t the fist time she’s received this achievement, as her previous album Midnights also took over the Hot 100 top 10.

It’s not uncommon for Swifties to wear Swift-inspired costumes inspired by the “Fortnight” singer’s tour wardrobe. Many fans are typically donning friendship bracelets as well as pieces that represent their favorite albums of hers. This fan took a new approach, looking to embody the recent history-making chart debut.

LL Cool J Wants Andre 3000 to Rap, Not Play the Flute: ‘He Needs to Know the Truth’

Waithe was talking about how as an artist, “Different things inspire you,” and the producer and actress brought up LL’s foray into acting. “Sometimes some things are more fascinating to an artist,” she said before using Andre’s flute album as an example. “Even Andre 3000. Do we want him to make a rap album? Sure. But he’s like, ‘I’m on this flute game, y’all. This is my jam right now, I’m super into this.’”

The man they call Big Elly wasn’t having it, countering, “I need him to spit, though,” before going on a mini-rant. “I need him to spit. Flutes? Man, come on, bro,” he said before acknowledging that “the comments are gonna be crazy.” LL continued his point by giving Andre his flowers before declaring himself anti-flute. “He’s amazing, all right? His bars is all the way up. I’m very clear. Not the flute, B. Not the flute. Don’t do the flute.”

This made Lena fight enthusiastically for 3 Stacks’ latest work. “I liked the album. It’s very calming, I’m sipping tea,” she said, before Big Elly interrupted her and fired back. “Let’s not lie to ourselves: I don’t wanna hear him do the flute,” said LL, who then asked the room, “You wanna hear me do a violin? You might not wanna hear me do sh–, but do you wanna hear me do a violin?”

LL isn’t alone. Co-host Maverick Carter agreed, saying, “I wanna hear him spit too.” Fans have been clamoring for an Andre 3000 solo rap album for years, and it seems like the Queens legend has been waiting on one as well.

“I want him to get with Big Boi. I want them to make an Outkast

. Or do a solo album,” LL Cool J said. “Every time he does f—ing one verse, it’s enough material for one album. He’s so gifted. So it’s like, come on, B, not the flute. We not gonna lie. … Don’t gas … that man needs to know the truth. He needs to know the truth.”

Every Song Taylor Swift Performed at First Eras Tour Concert After ‘Tortured Poets’: Paris Setlist

Taylor Swift is back at it! The 34-year-old pop star returned to her global Eras Tour on Thursday (May 9) following a two-month break, kicking off the trek’s European leg at La Defense Arena in Paris for the first of four planned shows at the venue — complete with several new costumes, dance numbers, visuals, special effects and, best of all, songs.

During the break, Swift released her new album The Tortured Poets Department, which immediately debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and broke several records along the way. But with a new LP in the books, fans couldn’t help but wonder how the singer would shake up her tried-and-true setlist to make room for the new material.

And make room, she did. Swift ended up cutting several numbers from her past eras and restructuring the show to carve out space for a total of seven tracks from Tortured Poets — or, “As I like to call it, ‘Female Rage: The Musical,’” the 14-time Grammy winner joked right after the TTPD section concluded, transitioning into the nightly surprise-song section. The new segment of the Eras show also featured the superstar levitating over the stage, getting abducted by a UFO and a ragtime jazz interlude.

“This has been an unforgettable night in Paris!” Swift gushed to the crowd before closing out as usual with “Karma.” “Thank you so much!”

Keep reading to see all the songs Swift performed at her first show following the release of Tortured Poets below, era by era, and check out how it compares to her original setlist here.

In the clip, the English actor’s voice is heard behind the camera naming the cities Rodrigo will visit, before she jokingly shouts “When?” after each one, and the date appears onscreen. “GUTS world tour Asia and Australia dates just announced!!! hope to see ya there!!!???,” she captioned the post. “Get ticket details at oliviarodrigo.com.”

Rodrigo and Partridge first sparked romance rumors back in October when they were seen spending time together in London, walking seemingly with their arms wrapped around each other’s waist. The Enola Holmes star was also seen supporting the “Get Him Back!” singer at iHeartRadio’s Jingle Ball in New York City on Dec. 8, and again one day later when she served as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live.

Rodrigo’s Guts deluxe track, “So American,” is rumored to be about the actor, as she sings in the chorus: “I’d go anywhere he goes/ And he says I’m so American/ Oh God, I’m gonna marry him/ If he keeps this s–t up/ I might just be in love.”

The Asian leg of the Guts World Tour kicks off Sept. 16 in Bangkok, Thailand, and will find Rodrigo traveling through Seoul, Hong Kong and Tokyo. Soon afterward, Rodrigo will play two shows in Melbourne followed by two in Sydney in October. She’ll be joined for all four Australian shows by rising alt-pop star Benee. Cindy Walker Inducted Posthumously Into Songwriters Hall of Fame

Legendary country songwriter Cindy Walker, whose most famous song is the cross-genre classic “You Don’t Know Me,” was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame (SHOF) in a special event on April 19 at historic Columbia Studio A in Nashville.

The ceremony took place during a SHOF Master Session with Liz Rose, a 2023 SHOF inductee. Rose spoke fondly of her close relationship with the late songwriter and presented the award to Walker’s niece Molly Walker. Rose’s daughter Caitlin Rose performed “You Don’t Know Me,” which Walker co-wrote with Eddy Arnold, who had the initial hit with the song in 1956.

“This would’ve made her so proud,” Molly Walker said at the event. “And the thing that gets me is, when we hear Cindy’s songs, she’s still with us. I can’t tell you how much this would have meant to her and her family.”

Trending on Billboard

The event was hosted by Belmont University’s Mike Curb College of Entertainment and Music Business. It was co-hosted by SHOF board member Fletcher Foster, who chairs the SHOF Nashville Committee.

The annual SHOF gala in June does not normally include posthumous inductions – though this year’s inductees include Steely Dan, whose Walter Becker died in 2017. The SHOF prefers the June event to have a celebratory mood. But it intends to continue hosting posthumous inductions at unique venues and special events such as this one.

“The ceremony at Columbia Studio A was warm, intimate, and respectful,” Foster said in a statement. “SHOF president and CEO Linda Moran says this now sets the stage for future posthumous inductions.”

Walker, who died in 2006 at age 87, was in the first class of inductees into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1970. In 1997, she became the first female songwriter to be inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame. In 2009, Walker received the Poet’s Award from the Academy of Country Music.

In 2006, Willie Nelson’s album You Don’t Know Me: The Songs of Cindy Walker, received a Grammy nomination for best country album. Fred Foster produced the album, which was released nine days before Walker’s death. The album included “Bubbles in My Beer,” “You Don’t Know Me,” “Sugar Moon,” “I Don’t Care and “Cherokee Maiden.”

Walker’s first recorded song was “Lone Star Trail,” recorded by Bing Crosby, the top star of the era. She wrote 50 songs that were recorded by Bob Wills, dubbed “the King of Western Swing.”

Walker even had a hit record as an artist in 1944. “When My Blue Moon Turns to Gold Again” reached No. 5 on Billboard’s Most Played Juke Box Folk Records, a forerunner to today’s Hot Country Songs.

Walker had numerous No. 1 hits on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart across the decades, including “Sugar Moon” (Bob Wills, 1947), “Take Me in Your Arms and Hold Me” (Eddy Arnold, 1950), “Cherokee Maiden” (Merle Haggard, 1976) and “You Don’t Know Me” (Mickey Gilley, 1981).

Ray Charles recorded “You Don’t Know Me” on his landmark 1962 album Modern Sounds in Country and Western Music, which topped the Billboard 200 for 14 weeks. Charles’ version of the song reached No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Walker’s many other hits include “Don’t Be Ashamed of Your Age” (Ernest Tubb & Red Foley, 1950), “Dream Baby (How Long Must I Dream)” (Roy Orbison, 1962) and “Bubbles in My Beer” and “Distant Drums” (Jim Reeves).

Walker unquestionably paved the way for such top contemporary country songwriters as Liz Rose and Hillary Lindsey. The latter is another of this year’s SHOF inductees, along with the aforementioned Steely Dan plus Timothy “Timbaland” Mosley, Dean Pitchford and R.E.M.

In addition to these inductees, Diane Warren is set to receive the Johnny Mercer Award, the organization’s top honor, and SZA is set to receive the Hal David Starlight Award, which recognizes up-and-coming talent.

Walker was a solitary writer. She once explained her approach by saying, “Picasso doesn’t have a co-painter.” But if an artist gave her the idea or title for a song, she would include them in the credits, such as Eddy Arnold, who gave her the idea for “You Don’t Know Me.”

Walker shares that tendency to write solo with Warren, this year’s Mercer Award recipient. Warren collaborates on occasion, but more often than not, she works alone.

Given the threads that link Walker with some of this year’s other inductees and honorees, it’s a shame that her induction was handled separately. The idea should be to demonstrate the common threads that unite songwriters across genres and generations.

A BMI writer, Walker wrote every day, rising at 5 a.m. with a cup of black coffee to start the day in her writing studio. She once said she knew a song was finished “…once I was ready to fight a room full of tigers not to change a single word.”

Cuba Gooding Jr. Addresses Producer Lil Rod’s Allegations, Says He’s An “Easy Target”

Cuba Gooding Jr. is finally addressing those eyebrow-raising allegations of sexual assault by producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Smith.

Page Six reports that Cuba Gooding Jr. revealed he was stunned to learn that his name was pulled in the whirlwind of accusations currently swirling around Diddy, aka The Diddler.

The actor’s name was part of Lil Rod’s lawsuit, which he filed against the Bad Boy general in February. In it, he claimed that while he attended one of Diddy’s infamous parties, he was drugged and raped, and touched inappropriately by the music mogul, all claims Diddy has denied.

The producer who worked on Diddy’s latest album also claimed that Gooding Jr. groped him, and now the Hollywood actor is responding to those allegations, claiming Jones is looking for money and that he is an easy target because of past claims made against him.

Per Page Six:

In a new interview with Patrick Bet-David’s “The PBD Podcast,” Gooding revealed he was shocked to learn that he was named in Smith’s lawsuit against Combs.

“That’s the craziest thing,” he said. “I wake up in the morning. I turn on the ‘Today’ show [and hear] ‘Actor Cuba Gooding Jr. …’ Excuse me! You pull me into this?”

In fact, Gooding claims he’s only hung out with Diddy “two or three times,” including New Year’s Eve, when he listened to music on Diddy’s yacht with Smith.

“That was it, but this guy who’s suing him, is going after the money … I’m sure,” Gooding said. “And by the way, I don’t know P. Diddy’s life. I don’t know what he’s going through.

“We were acquaintances,” he insisted.

He said they first met in 2019 or 2020, when Gooding’s girlfriend, Claudine De Niro, introduced him to Diddy.

Gooding says he thinks Smith only dropped his name because of “the cases I’ve already went through.”

The Jerry Maguire star pleaded guilty to a forcible touching misdemeanor charge in 2022 for locking lips with a woman at a nightclub in 2018 without her consent.

As for Diddy, he’s been on the quiet front but most recently posted a video of himself on Instagram doing things like praying and standing on a beach with the wind whipping, insinuating that he is enduring the storm with one of Bishop T.D. Jakes’ sermons serving as the soundtrack.
