Grafh ft. Method Man “Fight For Love,” French Montana “Casino Life” & More | Daily Visuals 6.4.24

Method Man might’ve soured on this new generation of Hip-Hoppers (at least as live shows go) but the Wu-Tang swordsman isn’t giving up the game anytime soon and if you searching for bars with content and substance then look no further than the man known as the Iron Lung.

Linking up with Grafh for the visuals to “Fight For Love,” Method Man and Grafh partake in any underground soiree where the women are as attractive as they are deadly as they’re actually vampires who prey on unsuspecting men who think they’re going to be necking only to get, well, necked. Method always said protect ya neck, right?

French Montana meanwhile enjoys the company of women who don’t feast on blood and in his clip for “Casino Life,” the Bronx representative showcases his lavish life as he stunts in some big boy cars before hopping on a private jet to take him to whatever exclusive party he was invited to in another continent. That’s balling.

Check out the rest of today’s drops including work from Big Hit, Hit-Boy and The Alchemist, FERG, and more.

Fashion influencers are obsessed with this $35 dress from Target, which serves budget-friendly elegance you can easily pair with platform heels or sandals. TikTokers are claiming it’s the most “beautiful” style, that makes a quick and trendy wedding guest dress or statement-worthy look for brunch.

Trending on Billboard

TikToker Jaycie Kathleen has racked up more than more than 37,000 views on a video showing off the dress — including its handy drawstring bow that can tighten the neckline. “I want to order all the colors,” Kathleen gushes in the video while also providing styling tips.

Another user also claims the midi slip dress is “curvy girl-approved,” modeling the green floral pattern in a TikTok video. And if you’re wondering what the pink floral version looks like on, TikTok user @mrtnzfashion shows the color paired with an oversized leather jacket and Doc Martens in a ‘fit video

The lace slip dress comes in six colors and patterns and sizes are quickly selling out, but you can buy the midi dress below now.

Wild Fable Satin Lace Trim Midi Slip Dress

The one-piece allows you to instantly put together an elevated outfit that’s dressy enough to wear to date nights and weddings. The midi dress even includes adjustable straps to help create a fit that’s more to your liking.

Slip dresses altogether have been trending for months now and if one is not enough, you can find more options below.

What Are the Best Slip Dresses?

To help you build a full rotation of photo-ready looks, ShopBillboard rounded up the best slip dresses below that’ll have you looking chic with just a simple zip.

100% Washable Silk Slip Dress

Quince has become known for creating designer-worthy products for a fraction of the cost — and that includes its silk slip dresses. ShopBillboard has tested the dress out for ourselves and it’s not only lightweight, but features a subtle fluttery skirt that’s perfect for dancing.

If you’re looking for the classic slip dress you can wear under your clothes, then look no further than Vanity Fair’s version, which comes in two basic shades: black and white. If the wallet-friendly $12 price tag doesn’t convince you, then you’re certain to fall for its 2-in-1 design. Repurposed Silk Cowl 60’s Mini Slip Dress

Mermaid Slip Maxi Dress

Abercrombie has reimagined the slip dress with a mermaid-inspired bottom that’s perfect for twirling in. The dress comes in three bold patterns that are sure to catch eyes and features a V-neckline that’s ideal for layering necklaces with.

Adelle Open Back Slip Midi Dress

Keep things simple with Dynamite’s elegant midi slip dress that comes in a gorgeous deep red or vibrant teal shade. The material is silky smooth with the aim of hugging all your curves without sacrificing comfort.

What Body Types Do Slip Dresses Look Good On?

One of the best features of slip dresses is how the fit looks good on practically everyone. This is due to the fact that the material was made to lay flat against your body, so it hugs your curves and allows you to show off your figure. It’s also notable for its versatility, which means you can dress it up or down just by throwing on a heels and some accessories.

Are Slip Dresses Still in Style in 2024?

Target’s viral slip dress proves that the style is just as trendy now as it was in 2023. The simple look doesn’t plan to go anywhere either since the fit and material is so multipurpose. Just like a denim jacket, it’s a classic look that can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion.

Rodrigo and Partridge first sparked romance rumors back in October when they were seen spending time together in London, walking seemingly with their arms wrapped around each other’s waist. The Enola Holmes star was also seen supporting the “Get Him Back!” singer at iHeartRadio’s Jingle Ball in New York City on Dec. 8, and again one day later when she served as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live.

Rodrigo’s Guts deluxe track, “So American,” is rumored to be about the actor, as she sings in the chorus: “I’d go anywhere he goes/ And he says I’m so American/ Oh God, I’m gonna marry him/ If he keeps this s–t up/ I might just be in love.”

New Report From Several of Sean “Diddy’ Combs Former Employees Detail His “Erratic” Workplace Behaivor

Sean Diddy Combs

Source: Bernard Smalls / @PhotosByBeanz / Diddy

The downfall of Sean “Diddy” Combs continues as more stories about his godawful behavior emerge.

Whatever is left of Diddy, aka The Diddler’s reputation, was flushed down the toilet after CNN shared graphic surveillance footage of the rapper/mogul viciously beating his then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura.

The shocking video came after Cassie slapped the Bad Boy CEO with a lawsuit in November alleging physical/sexual abuse and psychological torment that he eventually settled.

But the damage was already done from the lawsuit because Cassie’s bravery opened the floodgates, leading to six more lawsuits accusing the mogul of drugging, assault, rape, and being a part of a sex trafficking operation.

Now, a new report from The Daily Beast details numerous accounts of terrifying behavior from Diddy that several former employees endured while working for him at lifestyle brand Sean John and his now-shuttered advertising agency Blue Flame.

One Former Sean John Employee Claims Diddy Grabbed Her Face

Working at Sean John was a nightmare for one former female employee at Sean John, detailing an incident when Combs grabbed her face, even making her stick out her tongue.

Per The Daily Beast:

“He didn’t like that I wasn’t agreeing with him, and he wasn’t interested in hearing my point of view,” the former employee recalled.

Instead, Combs allegedly began to yell and compared himself to a renowned fashion designer. “When you speak to me, you should imagine that you’re talking to Karl Lagerfeld,” she recalled Combs telling her. “Anything I say, assume that it’s coming from Karl Lagerfeld.”

“At that point, I didn’t have a response to that, and he reaches out and he grabs my face,” she added. “He puts one hand on both sides of my cheeks and says ‘Stick out your tongue,’ and then he squeezes my face harder and yells at me to stick out my tongue, forces his hands on my face.”

She recounted how Combs then told her he “just wanted to see” if her tongue was bleeding, because she was clearly biting it.

The employee said she “started looking for a job immediately.”

Another Employee Lost His Job Because of How He Looked At Diddy

The Daily Beast details a story from another former employee who lost his job just by making eye contact with the “Victory” crafter because he was upset with the Diddy for showing up hours late for a meeting.

The employee tells the website that Combs “took the look that I gave him personally.”

“There was erratic behavior, there was definitely what I would consider mental abuse, [with] how he spoke to us as employees,” the person told The Daily Beast, noting the insane 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. work hours due to Combs’ insane demands and the “culture of fear” he spearheaded at his company. “There was “a lot of profanity, kind of aggressive, in your face—physically in your face—kind of stuff,” the employee said.

This latest news comes after Rolling Stone’s earth-shattering expose on Diddy. He also divested from Revolt, giving all current and future employees equity in the company.

Houston Meteorologist Uses Kendrick Lamar’s ‘Not Like Us’ to Soundtrack Weather Report

Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” has permeated different avenues of culture outside of music such as politics with a Joe Biden ad, and the Drake diss has now found its way into a weather report.

Houston meteorologist Adam Krueger shrewdly weaved K. Dot’s wordplay into Tuesday’s (June 4) CW39 broadcast as “Not Like Us” helped spell out the steamy temperatures in Texas, which probably threw off some of his audience.

“Let’s say you want to travel somewhere cooler. How many opps you got? If you wanna pass on this heat like John Stockton you can go into the Northwest where there’s 60s and 70s for highs today,” he said while channeling his inner-Kendrick. “So again, we got temperatures in the 90s, but it’s going to feel hotter for several days. Wop, wop, wop, wop!”

Trending on Billboard

Krueger continued: “This is not a major cold front. In fact, the general rule this time of year if it’s June and we’re talking about a cold front, it’s probably a minor.”

The meteorologist hopped into the comment section to clarify that he’s not choosing sides in the Kendrick-Drake feud. “For the record, I’m not picking sides. I want no part of this beef,” he wrote.

However, fans loved to see him leaning into “Not Like Us.” “Certified weather man,” one commenter crowned him while another envisioned the scene of an elderly person not understanding any of the references.

For his final trick, one camera panned to another which hilariously had a printed-out photo of Drake taped to it and hanging underneath the lens.

It should be known that Adam Krueger is no stranger to incorporating rap lyrics into his broadcasts. He previously went viral mixing in bars from Eminem’s “Without Me” and Lil Jon & The Eastside Boyz’s “Get Low” anthems.

K. Dot’s “Not Like Us” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in May and is still holding strong at No. 2 on the latest chart. The Mustard-produced West Coast bop also came in at No. 2 on the inaugural 2024 Songs of the Summer chart, which returned on Tuesday.

Come for the weather and stay for “Not Like Us.” Watch the fun broadcast below.

Ye gets hit with another lawsuit and his former assistant is alleging some inappropriate behavior from the rapper. In the lawsuit obtained by Billboard, Kanye’s ex-assistant Lauren Pisciotta is suing him for breach of contract, sexual harassment, wrongful termination, gender discrimination, fraud and other employment law violations. After a year of working for the rapper & fashion designer, Lauren claims she was fired shortly after being promoted to chief of staff and was offered a $3 million severance that was allegedly never paid. She alleges that Ye offered her a million-dollar salary while employed by him, then a year later offered her a $1 million payment, which the lawsuit claims he did not pay, to delete her OnlyFans account so she will be quote “God Like,” to which she agreed. Lauren claims he also sent her sexual photos and videos of Kanye having sex with other women, and allegedly masturbated in front of her. Crypto.com Arena & Peacock Theater Announce Full-Time Reusable Cup Program

As music consumers increasingly demand sustainable options from businesses across the industry, AEG has struck a partnership that will bring a full-time reusable cup program to Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena and Peacock Theater, the company announced Tuesday (June 4).

In collaboration with reusable serveware company r.World, which produces reusable items for large-scale gatherings, the venues will replace single-use cups with reusable r.Cups at all food and beverage destinations within the facilities. The program will make Crypto.com Arena the first Southern California arena to have a full-time reuse program.

The new system is being launched in partnership with the venues’ hospitality partner, Levy. Both venues are operated by AEG and located on the L.A. Live campus in downtown Los Angeles. The Crypto.com Arena holds roughly 20,000 attendees, while the Peacock Theater holds approximately 7,000. The arena piloted the program during a pair of shows by Depeche Mode in December 2023 at the band’s request.

Trending on Billboard

The r.Cup program will be integrated into both venues during select eventsl beginning with the Aug. 15 WNBA game between the Los Angeles Sparks and the New York Liberty at Crypto.com Arena. The program will kick off at the Peacock Theater the following day during a performance by Young Miko. The full-time launch of the program at both venues will begin on Oct. 1, 2024.

r.Cup has already been integrated into 84 venues and 275 standalone events in the United States, including ten other AEG properties and myriad Goldenvoice festivals. AEG reports avoiding the use of more than 3.5 million single-use cups since starting its partnership with r.World in November 2021. In a statement, r.World founder/CEO Michael Martin said AEG’s “commitment to sustainability innovations like reuse is a gamechanger and will play an important role in accelerating the impact and awareness of the reuse movement.”

“Waste minimization and ultimately waste avoidance is core to AEG’s sustainability program,” adds AEG’s vp of sustainability Erik Distler. “Through our partnership with r.World in the U.S. and reuse initiatives in-place in the UK and Germany, AEG is demonstrating its commitment to supporting and advancing the reuse economy. This announcement at L.A. LIVE catapults these efforts and sets a leading example of environmental responsibility in the industry.”

De La Soul Drops Trailer for Documentary About Putting Catalog on Streaming

Legendary rap group De La Soul worked for years to get their influential music catalog on streaming services. Sample clearances and disputes with their old label Tommy Boy kept their albums off DSPs up until recently. It wasn’t until Reservoir Media purchased Tommy Boy as part of a $100 million acquisition that the group’s music finally became available digitally. The group and Reservoir Media worked tirelessly to format the group’s first six albums for streaming, and the new documentary Chapter 3 chronicles that journey.
