Lizzo Shares Vulnerable Moment in Her Fitness Journey That Has Her ‘Feeling Really Bad’

Lizzo has spent her career inspiring fans to feel confident in their bodies, but she’s also not afraid of sharing her own low moments.

The 36-year-old hitmaker proved as much Monday (Sept. 30) when she shared a vulnerable video on TikTok opening up about a recent rough patch. “I overate yesterday and im feeling really bad about it,” she wrote in text over a clip of herself showing off a striped outfit featuring denim bottom.

“im trying to remind myself that my body needed that nourishment,” Lizzo continued. “and if my body deserves comfort then my brain deserves comfort too.”

The “About Damn Time” musician added in her caption, “If you’re going through this ur not alone ❤️.”

Lizzo has been keeping fans updated on her fitness journey for the past few months, sharing videos of her workouts and encouraging fans to take care of themselves as well. Captioning one Instagram post showing off her day at the gym, the Grammy winner wrote, “I accept my body as it is today & I accept my body will change. I love my body through all its stages because acceptance is a form of self love.”

At one point, the star clapped back at critics who accused her of using weight-loss drugs, writing on Instagram, “When you finally get Ozempic allegations after 5 months of weight training and calorie deficit.”

In addition to prioritizing her wellness, Lizzo has also been working on new music and sharing updates with fans who’ve been waiting for her to drop a new album since 2022’s Special. On Sept. 19, the Yitty founder posted photos of herself posing in a music studio and wrote, “JUST A LIL ALBUM UPDATE 4 MY REAL LIZZBIANS: I’m making the BEST music of my life— this album (like all my other albums) is a BODY OF TWERK.”

“I want you to listen to the WHOLE THING/IN ORDER with a glass of ur favorite wet stuff and ur heart open,” she added at the time. “This is more than music to me… this is my soul poured out and bared to the world.”

Beyoncé Stars In New Levi’s ‘REIIMAGINE’ Campaign

Beyoncé is back! No, not with any new songs or music videos, but with a new pair of jeans as she stars in Levi’s latest REIIMAGINE commercial campaign.

On Monday (Sept. 30), Levi’s dropped their new campaign spot, which featured the Queen B remixing a classic 1985 ad, “Launderette.” Stunting in all her cowgirl glory complete with the cowboy hat, Beyoncé steps into a laundromat where she simply takes off her own jeans and throws them into a laundry machine much to the surprise of onlookers who can’t help but notice the music icon’s physical dimensions. With her fan favorite cut “LEVII’s JEANS” playing in the background, Bey simply sits and waits for her jeans to get washed, tumbled and dried as she reads the newspaper.

The jeans already looked clean, but hey, who’s going to argue with Beyoncé?

Dubbed “Chapter 1,” you can expect to see Beyoncé in another Levi’s commercial or two in the coming future.

While we don’t know if this will help spike sales of Levi’s jeans going forward, we do know that we can’t wait to see more commercials for Levi’s starring Beyoncé.

Check out Levi’s latest commercial spot with Beyoncé, and let us know your thoughts on the clip in the comments section below.

The event, scheduled for Oct. 26 at 8 p.m. at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC), offers fans a rare opportunity to hear Bon Jovi reflect on his remarkable journey, both as a musician and as a philanthropist.

With more than 130 million albums sold globally and hits like “Livin’ on a Prayer” and “You Give Love a Bad Name” that defined the sound of rock in the ‘80s, Bon Jovi’s impact on popular music is undeniable. The band’s 1986 album Slippery When Wet spent eight weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, and tracks from that album still resonate with fans today.

As the conversation unfolds, attendees can expect Colbert to delve into Bon Jovi’s experiences that led to iconic moments, including the band’s 2018 induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Bon Jovi’s charitable work will also be a focal point of the evening. Through his Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation, established in 2006, Bon Jovi has raised millions to help combat issues of homelessness and hunger. His innovative “pay it forward” model at his JBJ Soul Kitchens—nonprofit community restaurants—has provided over 100,000 meals to those in need, ensuring that anyone can enjoy a meal, regardless of their ability to pay.

“We are thrilled to welcome Jon Bon Jovi to the Montclair Film Festival and to share what promises to be a special evening of conversation,” said Montclair Film Artistic Director and Co-Head Tom Hall.

“As an artist who embodies empathy and community, Jon’s work represents the values that inspire
everything we do at Montclair Film. We look forward to a wonderful night.”

This appearance comes during a banner year for Bon Jovi, following the release of the Hulu docuseries Thank You, Goodnight, which charts the band’s rise from New Jersey clubs to international superstardom. The series has given fans a behind-the-scenes look at more than four decades of music, performances, and personal moments, adding fresh perspective to Bon Jovi’s celebrated career.

Tickets for the Montclair Film Festival’s Evening of Conversation with Jon Bon Jovi, hosted by Stephen Colbert, will go on sale to Montclair Film and NJPAC members on Oct. 2, with general sales beginning Oct. 4. All proceeds will benefit Montclair Film’s programs and NJPAC’s arts education initiatives, helping to support arts programming across New Jersey.

As Bon Jovi sits down with Colbert, the audience will likely be reminded of the enduring power of music and the ways in which it intersects with community activism—a theme that has been present throughout Bon Jovi’s career. With 10 No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200, including 2016’s This House Is Not for Sale, Jon Bon Jovi remains as relevant as ever, continuing to inspire both on stage and off.

Watch Travis Kelce Cheerfully Lead Trivia in First ‘Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?’ Trailer

Travis Kelce might be the guy on the Chiefs, but very soon, he’ll also be the guy on the screen … hosting Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity? on Prime Video

Ahead of the Oct. 16 premiere of the spinoff game show, fans got their first peak at Kelce’s hosting skills in a new trailer posted Tuesday (Oct. 1). In the 90-second clip, the Kansas City Chiefs star sings, dances and models several colorful suits on a flashy stage while quizzing average people and celebrities alike on “stuff we all learned back in elementary school,” he tells the audience.

The teaser also gives viewers a look at the panel of celebrities featured on the show, which allows contestants to “cheat” off of the stars when stumped by a challenging question — a similar format to the original Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?, which inspired the new iteration. The first season of Celebrity? will feature comedian Nikki Glaser, TV host Lilly Singh, Real Housewives star Garcelle Beauvais, Vanderpump Rules cast member Lala Kent and more.

Trending on Billboard

“It can be true, or it can be false,” Kelce sings with Glaser at one point in the teaser, making up a little jig on the spot.

During another moment, the Ohio native jokes about his own pre-NFL education, which found him studying criminal justice at the University of Cincinnati. “If I’m gonna go to school, I might as well learn how to not go to jail,” he quips.

Hosting Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity? marks the latest non-football endeavor Kelce has undertaken amid his high-profile romance with Taylor Swift. The athlete also recently nabbed a starring role in Ryan Murphy’s Grotesquerie, which premiered Sept. 25 on FX, and he’ll soon make a cameo in Adam Sandler’s upcoming Happy Gilmore sequel.

After spending much of his summer accompanying the “Anti-Hero” singer on her European Eras Tour, Kelce is now four games into the 2024-25 football season. The Chiefs are currently undefeated, with the team most recently defeating the Los Angeles Chargers 17-10 Sept. 29.

Swift has so far been present at half of those games, attending the kickoff against the Baltimore Ravens as well as the Chiefs’ match against the Cincinnati Bengals in September.

The Offspring’s ‘Supercharged’ Album, Ed Sheeran Performance & More | Billboard News

Orange County natives The Offspring sprang into popularity with their 1994 album ‘Smash’ and haven’t looked back since. With the release of their upcoming 10th studio album ‘Supercharged,’ Dexter Holland shares how energetic and fresh this album is, discusses performing with Ed Sheeran and Brian May, explains the origins of ‘Smash’ and “Make It All Right,” and more!

Hi everybody. It’s Rania Aniftos with Billboard News. And I’m so excited we have Dexter from The Offspring in the studio today. Hello!

Hi, hello!

And we got to talk about the album ‘Supercharged,’ something that you described as pure energy. Tell me a bit about that inspiration and getting the energy.

That’s right. You know, we’ve done what, 10 albums or something. So it’s like, what can you offer when you’re doing this, right? You want to do something that you haven’t done before, but you don’t want to go so far out there that it feels strange to people who like the band, and it just felt like going kind of a little bit more direct was the right way to approach this record. I just wanted something that was energetic and really upbeat and just slamming in your face, kind of.

I feel like you guys do a good job too. I mean being a band all these years, keeping it fun and keeping it fresh. Because, I mean, it’s your job andyou want to separate the job from the creative, and you still want to keep it fun and fresh. So I feel like you guys do a good job at that.

It’s got to be fun, right? But that’s the thing is, we really, really enjoy what we do still, you know?

It’s important. I love going out and playing the shows, because there’s kind of an immediacy to that, where you get the reaction from the crowd and they’re singing along, and like, it’s hard to explain to people, like, there’s nothing like that feeling when you’ve written a song and people are singing your words, right?

Keep watching for more!
