Travis Barker Visits Incarcerated Firefighters in Los Angeles: ‘These Guys Are Heroes’

Travis Barker is showing his respect for the firefighters who continue to risk their lives in order to contain and extinguish the catastrophic Los Angeles fires.

The Blink-182 drummer was photographed at the Rose Bowl Complex in Pasadena, California, earlier this week, where he met with incarcerated firefighters on the front lines and members of the Anti-Recidivism Coalition, a network for formerly incarcerated individuals and advocates for criminal justice reform.

Barker took to his Instagram Stories to share photos posing alongside the National Guard, as well as the firefighters from Growlersburg Conservation Camp #33, which is managed Cal Fire and the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. “These guys are heroes,” he wrote over a group photo with the firefighters. “They are risking their lives to serve people. Save people. Help people. And becoming men in the process.”

He continued, “I love the awareness that the Anti-Recidivism Coalition is bringing to the incarcerated guys working these fires. A lot of them came from the juvenile system and this program gives them the ability for real change and to make a difference. To see the humanity in all of them was amazing.”

At the time of publication, the Palisades Fire on the west side of LA has burned more than 23,000 acres and is 63% contained, while the east-side Eaton Fire is 89% contained at 14,000 acres.  In the past two weeks, the fires have caused at least 27 deaths, nearly 100,000 people under evacuation orders, and more than 12,000 structures destroyed.

Central Cee Unveils Track List for Debut Album ‘Can’t Rush Greatness,’ Featuring Collabs With Dave, Skepta, Young Miko & More

Central Cee shared the tracklist for his long-awaited debut album Can’t Rush Greatness on Tuesday (Jan. 21), days ahead of its release via CC4L and Columbia Records.

The 17-track LP features previously released singles “BAND4BAND,” featuring Lil Baby, “Gen Z Luv” and “GBP,” featuring 21 Savage. “BAND4BAND” hit No. 1 on the U.K. Hip-Hop and R&B Singles chart and reached No. 3 on the U.K. Singles chart. In the U.S., the collab reached No. 2 on Rhythmic Airplay, No. 6 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and No. 18 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Can’t Rush Greatness will feature more collabs with Young Miko (“Gata”), Dave (“CRG”), Lil Durk (“Truth in the Lies”) and Skepta (“Ten”). Cench and Dave’s track will arrive two years after their joint four-track EP Split Decision, which included the summer hit “Sprinter” that became the longest-running No. 1 rap song in the U.K. with its 10-week reign. “Sprinter” also reached the top 10 of the Billboard Global 200.

The U.K. MC’s (real name Oakley Neil Caesar-Su) first full-length album also arrives three years since his last solo mixtape 23, which included the PinkPantheress-sampling hit “Obsessed with You” that topped the U.K. Hip-Hop and R&B Singles chart (six weeks) and U.K. Independent Singles chart.

“With the mixtapes, I was living in [the same] house I grew up in,” Cench said in his Dazed cover story last fall. “Now we’ve elevated, we’re actually musicians. There were times it was hard to say man’s a musician. I was just a guy that [went into the] studio [sometimes]. Now, I’m an artist.”

Dressed in a brown leather maxi skirt and long sleeved top, with her hair in loose waves, Clarkson effortlessly belts the lyrics of the 1980s hit. “When I’m with you baby/ I go out of my head/ And I just can’t get enough,” Clarkson sings to open the track, adding her characteristic Southern twang to the rock-leaning melody, backed by her band affectionately called My Band Y’all.

“Just Can’t Get Enough,” which was released in 1981 head of the group’s debut studio album, Speak & Spell. The song reached No. 8 on the UK Singles chart and No. 26 on Billboard’s Dance Club Play chart.

Depeche Mode wrapped up their Memento Mori World Tour in April, having played 112 shows around the globe in support of 2023’s Memento Mori – their first new album in six years. The album and tour was the band’s first since the passing of co-founding keyboardist Andy Fletcher in 2022.

The “Just Can’t Get Enough” performance also marks Clarkson’s second Depeche Mode cover. Back in 2021, she delivered the band’s 1990 hit “Enjoy the Silence.”

Don Toliver & J-Hope Preview Pharrell-Produced ‘LV Bag’ Collab During Louis Vuitton’s Paris FW25 Show

Don Toliver and J-Hope previewed their new Pharrell-produced collaboration “LV Bag” during the Louis Vuitton FW25 show in Paris on Tuesday (Jan. 21).

Pharrell and his frequent collaborator Nigo walked out and greeted J-Hope and other notable front row spectators such as Travis Scott and Bradley Cooper while the song was playing.

J-Hope already teased “new music on the way” this year in his “Beginning of a New Dream” YouTube video, with the “2025. 03.” caption suggesting a new song will be out in March. It would mark J-Hope’s first new track since his discharge from the army last October and first release since his six-track EP Hope On the Street Vol. 1 last March, which featured collabs with his BTS bandmate Jungkook on “I Wonder,” Benny Blanco and Nile Rodgers on “Lock/Unlock,” and Le Sserafim’s Huh Yunjin on “I Don’t Know.”

Bailey Zimmerman recently earned concern from music fans on social media following a shaky performance on Jan. 18 during this year’s Crash My Playa festival, held in Cancun, Mexico. Videos of Zimmerman’s performance show the singer — normally known for his energetic stage shows — seemingly having trouble reaching notes, wandering around the stage and taking a tumble at one point.

Zimmerman posted a video to Instagram on Tuesday (Jan. 21), directly addressing his Crash My Playa performance.

“I was always raised up to hit my problems head-on, and never to lie, and always be truthful and honest, even when you’re embarrassed,” he started his video message. “So, I’d like to talk about something that’s been eatin’ me alive. Last weekend, down in Cancun, Mexico, I’m sure everybody’s seen the videos of me playing absolutely awful, and singing absolutely awful. And, I feel like you guys deserve an explanation from me, because you’ve had my back through the highs and lows, and through every mistake.”

He continued, “What happened was, I decided to drink that day, which was a mistake, and I got up onstage and I was too drunk to play. And I sang awful, I played awful, nobody got the show that they wanted or paid for, and I’m disappointed in myself. If you’ve been to my shows, you know how much I’ve talked about God since day one, and it was an awful representation of that. And to anybody, like I said, that’s embarrassed of me, I’m there. I’m embarrassed as well, and I’m going to do everything in my power to make sure that this never happens ever again. I want to show you guys the person that I truly am.”

He ended by saying, “So, I’m just asking for a little bit of grace. Man, growing up is interesting. It’s not an excuse, but man, thank you to everybody that’s got my back. Thank you for staying, thank you for showing me love, and grace, and we’re gonna crush this year. But yeah, I just wanted to say I’m sorry. I freakin’ love you guys more than anything in the world and I don’t wanna lose ya. Forgive me and I love ya. Thank you for listening.”

Zimmerman’s next concert is set for March 1 in West Palm Beach, Florida. He also recently revealed his 2025 summer tour dates on his New to Country Tour, with the shows launching in June.

Luke Bryan’s Crash My Playa event celebrated its ten-year anniversary in 2025, with this year’s Crash My Playa also featuring performances from Bryan as well as Jason Aldean, Kane Brown and Lainey Wilson.

To date, Zimmerman has earned four Billboard Country Airplay chart-toppers, including the six-week No. 1 “Rock and A Hard Place.” He was also nominated for the CMA’s new artist of the year honor during November’s ceremony.

Shakira arrived on Tuesday (Jan. 21) in Mexico City, where she will stay for a few days to conduct general rehearsals for her stadium tour Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran, kicking off on Feb. 11 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Local TV station Milenio showed the moment the Colombian superstar arrived this afternoon on a private plane at the Felipe Ángeles International Airport (AIFA), on the outskirts of the Mexican capital. The publication Excélsior also shared a video on social media. Escorted by her private security and elements of the National Guard, Shakira spent a few minutes greeting dozens of fans who were waiting with items alluding to her, hoping to greet her up close or get her autograph.

Shakira said in front of the cameras that she was in Mexico City because she has seven concerts scheduled in the capital. The hitmaker of “Monotonía” and “Soltera” recently revealed on the Brazilian show Domingão com Huck that she had chosen the North American country to rehearse and finalize the details of her highly anticipated trek.

In brief statements to the Mexican press, Shakira shared how she’s been preparing her new adventure that will take her back to international stages after almost seven years since El Dorado, her previous world tour.

“It has been a very healing process, for me and for many women, and for many people who have accompanied me from the start,” said the singer-songwriter. “I am very happy to be here in Mexico, a country that has supported me, understood me, loved me, and I love you with all my heart,” she added.

In response to a question about what she liked the most about Mexican cuisine, the Colombian star said she was craving to taste some traditional tacos or flautas, a style of tacos filled with chicken or beef and topped with green or red sauce.

According to the promoter Ocesa, the Barranquilla native returns to the country setting a new record by becoming the first artist to give seven consecutive shows at the Estadio GNP Seguros (formerly Foro Sol), gathering about 455,000 people in total. The concerts will take place on March 19, 21, 23, 25, 27, 28, and 30, with tickets sold out, as per Ocesa.

Prior to this, Shakira will arrive in the border city of Monterrey, where she has two shows scheduled at the BBVA Stadium on March 12 and 13. She will also make a stop in Guadalajara, where she will offer two concerts at the Akron Stadium on the 16th and 17th of March.

A request for more details on her stay in Mexico sent by Billboard Español to the promoter and the singer’s record label was not immediately answered.

Shakira announced last October that the U.S. leg of her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran world tour would move from arenas to stadiums due to high ticket demand, so the dates for the U.S. were postponed for May, immediately after her tour through Latin America. In December, she added several additional dates for North America.

Bruno Mars Wants to ‘Make a Strip Club Anthem’ to Celebrate ‘Die With a Smile’ Staying at No. 1 on Hot 100

Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars’ “Die With a Smile” secured a third consecutive week at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart dated Jan. 25, 2025, and Mars is ready to party.

“THANK YOU ALL!” he wrote alongside a cheers emoji and a screenshot of this week’s top 10 on the chart. “I’m headed to the studio right now to make a strip club anthem so I can celebrate and properly act up this weekend.”

He concluded by jokingly asking his fans to help him “get in touch with Sexyy Red,” who is known for her party-ready hits. See his post here.

Thousands of tracks were played at Hï Ibiza during the 2024 season, but 50 of them were rinsed more than all the others.

The most played song at the club last year was Italian producer Marco Lys’ 2022 remix of Cajmere & Dajae’s “Brighter Days.” That track was followed by Pawsa’s 2024 track “Pick Up The Phone” featuring Nate Dogg,” with the top three rounded out with 2024’s ubiquitous “Move” by Adam Port, Stryv, Keinemusik, Orso and Malachiii.

Sexyy Red Blasted by Bernice King for AI Photo With Martin Luther King Jr.: ‘Please Delete’

UPDATE: Sexyy Red has deleted the AI-generated photo of her and Martin Luther King Jr. holding hands following his daughter Bernice King’s request to do so.

Bernice King, lawyer, global thought leader, activist and daughter of late civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr., spoke out against Sexyy Red after the rapper posted a fake image with her father on MLK Day.

The “Get It Sexyy” MC posted an AI-generated image of her holding hands with the late Rev. Dr. King via X on Monday, which was Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

“This is intentionally dishonoring, deplorable, and disrespectful of my family and my father, who is not here to respond himself because he was assassinated for working for your civil and human rights and to end war and poverty,” Bernice King replied to X on Tuesday (Jan. 21). “Please delete.”

Sexyy had posted another fake image on Monday of her holding a stack of cash while attending the 1963 March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom in Washington, D.C., with Rev. Dr. King. During this historic march, he delivered his “I Had a Dream” speech. “Happy MLK Day!!” Sexyy wrote as the caption for the image, which also features Chief Keef next to a sign that reads “G.B.E. [Glory Boyz Entertainment] F— TRUMP.”

Donald Trump was also inaugurated on Monday for a second term as U.S. president. In 2023, Sexyy claimed the United States needed Trump back in office, but last year, she revealed she voted for Kamala Harris. “I just voted!!! Don’t tell us what to do with our coochies!! #Kamala4President,” she wrote on X while sharing two photos of her “I Voted” stickers on her behind.
