MGK Shows Off a Glimpse of Baby Daughter Before Celebrating a First in His Career With ‘Cliché’

On daddy duty! MGK took to social media on Thursday (May 22) to share a selfie with his baby daughter before hitting a Spotify milestone with his new single, “Cliché.”
The artist formerly known as Machine Gun Kelly posted the sweet snap, taken in what appears to be the reflection of a car door, in an Instagram carousel alongside the caption, “Stop what you’re doing these pictures are v important.”
Strapped to his chest, the baby girl’s face is obscured from the camera in the father-daughter photo, which is sandwiched between pictures of her famous dad at the hair salon, flashing peace signs with Sydney Sweeney and Patrick Schwarzenegger, working in the studio with producer Big Slim and attending a Bob Dylan concert.

Hours later, the “Lonely Road” singer had even more to celebrate, posting a video of his ecstatic reaction to being featured on the cover of Spotify’s weekly New Music Friday playlist in support of his newest single “Cliché.”
“For the first time in my career…CLICHÉ!!” he captioned the Friday (May 23) post, adding a teary-eyed emoji and prayer hands before tagging both Spotify and Spotify for Artists. After seeing the cover photo, he excitedly calls his eldest daughter, Casie Colson Baker, to share the news over FaceTime, telling the 15-year-old, “Princess, I’m hyped right now! … Your sister’s asleep so I can’t scream, but I wanna scream so loud.”
The melodic “Cliché” marks MGK’s fourth single of 2025 following “Your Name Forever,” “Come Pick Me Up” and his recent cover of the Goo Goo Dolls’ “Iris” featuring Julia Wolf.
