Which New Music Release Is Your Favorite This Week? Vote!

April showers bring May flowers, along with a slew of new music releases from Ed Sheeran, Maroon 5 and LISA and more to start off the month right.
On the first New Music Friday of May 2025, the British pop star followed up April’s “Azizam” with a nostalgic new single titled “Old Phone.” Both songs will appear on Sheeran’s upcoming album, Play, with the star heavily promoting the latter through an Instagram account full of decade-old snaps recovered from one of his old devices and the installation of his temporary Old Phone Pub in Massachusetts and at Coachella.
This week is also marked by several major collabs, the splashiest of which is likely Maroon 5 and LISA’s team-up on new single “Priceless.” Released after days of teasing from both parties, the funk-infused pop track leads the way for the band’s upcoming eighth studio album while also serving as an extra punctuation mark on the BLACKPINK star’s first full solo era with debut LP Alter Ego.
Other artists who’ve gotten in the studio together for this week’s drops include Don Toliver and Doja Cat — who teamed up for the sleek lead single “Lose My Mind” off of the newly announced F1 movie soundtrack — as well as Bailey Zimmerman and Luke Combs on new duet “Backup Plan.” Plus, Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco kept their musical love fest going by dropping the deluxe version of their Billboard 200 No. 2 joint album I Said I Love You First, while Quavo delivered a collaboration with late nephew and Migos bandmate Takeoff titled “Dope Boy Phone.”
