Sony has unveiled its latest superstar partnership with none other than chart-topper Post Malone. The global star has teamed up with the brand for the launch of its new Ult Power Sound series, part of Sony’s For The Music audio brand campaign, the company announced on Wednesday (April 9).

According to the release, Sony picked Posty because he “embodies the spirit of authenticity, creativity and connection – values that lie at the core of Sony’s approach to audio innovation.”

For the campaign, Post will feature in a series of ads that spotlight how Sony’s audio technology enhances the listening experience for fans (you can check out the first of these ads below). As Post shared in a statement: “I’ve always wanted the music to feel personal, and this partnership with Sony is a chance to create something that brings people closer to the music in a real way.”

Previously, artists including Peso Pluma, Miguel, LE SSERAFIM and more have all collaborated with Sony via For The Music.

This weekend, on Sunday (April 13), Post will headline the third and final night of Coachella (returning for the fest’s second weekend, too). Immediately after, he’ll kick off his Big Ass Stadium Tour and in August will embark on a world tour – both alongside Jelly Roll. The outings follow Post’s Billboard 200 No. 1 album, F-1 Trillion. The project marked his foray into country music, featuring legendary collaborators like Dolly Parton, Chris Stapleton, Blake Shelton and more.

Earlier this year, at the 2025 Grammys, Post was nominated for eight awards, including country album of the year for F-1 Trillion. He was also up for song and record of the year for featuring on Taylor Swift’s “Fortnight” off The Tortured Poets Department and best pop duo/group performance for featuring on Beyoncé’s “LEVII’S JEANS” off her own country project, Cowboy Carter

Post has charted 95 songs on the Hot 100, including six No. 1 hits. He most recently topped the tally with his country-pop single “I Had Some Help” with Morgan Wallen
