Future became synonymous with “March Madness” a decade ago, and now it’s GloRilla’s turn to get a few three-pointers up. Big Glo is slated to headline the AT&T Super Saturday concert at the Women’s NCAA Final Four in Tampa Bay on April 5.
Gates open to the free show at 6 p.m. CT at Curtis Hixon Park, and the first 5,000 attendees will be gifted an illuminating wristband to coincide with Glo’s performance. Past Super Saturday hip-hop headliners have included Latto and Saweetie in recent years.
“Get ready GloRidaz! We’re about to turn up in Tampa at the NCAA Super Saturday Concert Presented by AT&T,” GloRilla relays in a statement to Billboard. “I can’t wait to connect with my fans during one of the most exciting times for women’s sports!”
From the Grammy-nominated “Yeah Glo!” to the Cardi B-assisted “Tomorrow 2” and Glo’s breakout anthem “F.N.F.,” the Memphis-bred rapper will be bringing her hit-laden catalog to the Super Saturday stage.
2024 proved to be a banner campaign for GloRilla, who delivered her Ehhthang Ehhthang EP and GLORIOUS debut album last year.
Glo’s still making noise on the Billboard charts as she holds a pair of Billboard Hot 100 slots this week with “Whatchu Kno About Me” featuring Sexyy Red and her guest appearance on Tyler, The Creator’s “STICKY.”
It’s been another thrilling year in women’s hoops as powerhouse programs like Paige Bueckers’ UCONN Huskies and JuJu Watkins’ USC Trojans remain in the AP Top 25’s top five with hopes of being in Tampa Bay next month, while the Texas Longhorns currently own the No. 1 spot.
