Calibre 50 Extends Its No. 1 Streak on Regional Mexican Airplay Chart With ‘El Sueño Americano’

Calibre 50 adds a record-extending 27th No. 1 on Billboard’s Regional Mexican Airplay chart with “El Sueño Americano.” The Sinaloans achieve the feat on the March 1-dated tally, as the song advances 2-1 for its first week on top.
“El Sueño Americano” crowns Regional Mexican Airplay with 6.3 million audience impressions earned in the U.S. during the Feb. 14-20 tracking week, according to Luminate; that’s a 15% improvement in audience compared to the week prior.
With its 27th ruler, the band remains the all-time champ on the survey. Banda MS ranks second, with 21 No. 1 hits under its belt. Here’s a recap of the acts with the most No. 1 songs on the chart since the list launched in 1994:

Calibre 50 also extends its record for the most top 10s among regional Mexican acts on the overall Latin Airplay chart, where “Sueño” rises 13-9, its first top 10 visit there, with 6.7 million impressions for the tracking week.
The single is the title track of the group’s El Sueño Americano album released December 2024 on Disa/Andaluz. The set has yet to enter the charts.
