Chance the Rapper to Headline NBA Fan Experience Concert at All-Star Weekend in San Francisco

Chance the Rapper is tipping off NBA All-Star Weekend. The Chicago native is slated to headline the NBA on TNT American Express Road Show Fan Experience with a performance on Feb. 13 in San Francisco.
It’s all going down at Pier 48 next Thursday (Feb. 13) to set All-Star Weekend officially in motion as the Inside the NBA hosts Shaquille O’Neal, Charles Barkley, Kenny “The Jet” Smith and anchor Ernie Johnson will all be in attendance and broadcasting live.
“NBA All-Star Weekend is always a major moment, and I’m honored to be a part of it with NBA on TNT’s American Express Roadshow,” Chance tells Billboard. “Basketball and music bring people together, and I can’t wait to kick off an incredible weekend.”

American Express cardholders will have early access to score a pair of tickets starting on Feb. 4 through Feb. 6. The general public will have their chance on Feb. 8. Tickets are free of charge.
Inside the NBA will broadcast live from Pier 48 and there will be plenty of other free activations, giveaways and hooping competitions for fans to indulge in. The Grammy-winning rapper will hit the Pier 48 stage and run through his decorated catalog.
Chance has been mixing it up in the sports world, as he performed at the NHL Winter Classic in his hometown of Chicago on New Year’s Eve when the Blackhawks took on the Blues at Wrigley Field.
Chance the Rapper has also been part of the NBA All-Star Game festivities in the past, as the 31-year-old performed as part of a star-studded headlining halftime show featuring DJ Khaled, Quavo and Lil Wayne in 2020. He also paid tribute to the late Kobe Bryant, who passed away just weeks before the 2020 All-Star Weekend.
