Beyoncé had plenty of company when she celebrated her long-sought, first-ever album of the year win at Sunday night’s (Feb. 2) 67th Grammy Awards. The top prize went to Bey’s Cowboy Carter, but the trophy for second-most excited in the room definitely went to GloRilla, who was absolutely losing it when Queen Bey’s name was announced.
We know this because Beyoncé’s mom, Tina Knowles, posted a video of the super-sweet moment on Instagram on Monday (Feb. 3), along with a long, loving note to her eldest about how sweet the victory tasted. “This was me last night when they announced @beyonce won for Album Of The Year at home watching by myself,” Knowles wrote alongside a split-screen image of Beyoncé’s acceptance speech and a clip of Glo jumping up and down, shouting and generally losing it in joy.

“Through all those years, she was so gracious when not winning, still remaining humble and being genuinely happy for those who did win,” Knowles said of Bey going 0-4 in the biggest Grammy category before Sunday night. “I always told her that I really appreciated and admired her humbleness and classy graciousness. So yes, last night. @glorillapimp was me and I was her❤️!! We were the same person.”
Knowles also gave thanks for all the prayers and love Bey received on Sunday, specifically calling out the Beyhive and everyone else who has supporter her daughter — who has 35 Grammy wins and a record 99 nominations — over the years. “Thank you for all the beautiful text that I received with people were crying and so happy to see her finally win that award,” Knowles added. “Thank you to the audience for cheering for her. God Bless you.”
