For Drake, his next move better be his best move. The 6 God revealed he’s back in the studio as he turns the page to a clean slate in the new year.
Drizzy took to Instagram for a colorful post on Tuesday night (Jan. 7) as he got back to work while showing off his studio setup while rocking a crochet hat and baby blue silk top matching his Chrome Hearts travel bag.
“I thought this through,” Drake captioned the post. Another photo also found him donning a money sign chain to go with his nails painted with the same symbol. The money signs have previously been hinting toward his upcoming collab album with PartyNextDoor, but the highly anticipated project remains without a release date.

Plenty of Drake’s peers hopped into the comments section, hyped at the idea of new music being on the way. Sexyy Red, Reese LaFlare, Blocboy JB and even Riff Raff showed him some love.
“They ain’t ready,” Big Sexyy wrote.
Drake kicked off 2025 making a statement with the arrival of his “Fighting Irish Freestyle,” which was quickly scrubbed from its producer Conductor Williams’ YouTube account following its release. On the track, Drizzy appeared to be targeting NBA star LeBron James, who was in attendance for Kendrick Lamar’s Pop Out concert in June. The Fighting Irish also served as the mascot for LeBron’s high school team when he attended St. Vincent-St. Mary High School in Ohio.
“The world fell in love with the gimmicks, even my brothers got tickets, seemed like they loved every minute/ Just know the s–t is personal to us and wasn’t just business/ Analyzing behavioral patterns is somewhat suspicious,” Drake raps on the track.
