It has been months since rumors circled that Colman Domingo was being eyed to replace Jonathan Majors as Kang The Conqueror in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and while that’s still a possibility, the man is keeping himself busy with new and interesting projects.

On Tuesday (Oct. 29), Netflix dropped a new trailer to its new original series, The Madness, which stars Colman Domingo as political media pundit, Muncie Daniels, who finds himself accused of a murder he didn’t commit. After witnessing the murder of an infamous white supremacist (not Trump), Daniels is framed for the killing and can only rely on himself to clear his name while delving into the crazy conspiracy behind the crime.

Of course they’d frame a Black man for the murder of a white supremacist. Watch ya back out there Don Lemon!

According to Hypebeast, Domingo will be joined by the likes of Marsha Stephanie Blake, John Ortiz, Gabrielle Graham and Tamsin Topolski.

The Clement Virgo-directed series will be an eight-episode thrill ride that’s sure to have twists and turns at every angle. So y’all better buckle up because Colman Domingo don’t be signing up for no lame ish.

Per Hypebeast:

“Everything about this conspiracy thriller excited me. It was a unique protagonist, one that I had never seen or experienced,” Domingo told Netflix. “Someone who has very centrist beliefs, and now they’re being thrust into the world to really hard-core believe in something and to reexamine the people that they believed were possible enemies. You realize you have more in common with them than you thought you had in the beginning.”

“I think it says a lot about who we are now and what we’re willing to do, and also to look at who’s really pulling the strings and for whose benefit.”

The Madness premiers on Netflix Nov. 28. Check out the trailer and let us know if you’ll be checking for it come next month in the comments below.
