A co-defendant in Young Thug’s YSL RICO case has agreed to a plea deal, according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
The outlet reports that Quamarvious Nichols, 29, reached a plea deal with prosecutors on Tuesday (Oct. 29), in which he pleaded guilty to a single count of violating Georgia’s anti-racketeering laws in exchange for having several charges dropped, including murder and weapons charges. Per NBC News, Superior Court Judge Paige Whitaker agreed to a negotiated sentence of 20 years for Nichols, though he will only have to serve seven years in prison followed by 13 years probation, including credit for the two years he’s already spent in jail. He had been facing a potential life sentence.
Nichols’ plea deal means only four other co-defendants remain alongside Young Thug in the trial, which is now the longest-running criminal case in Georgia state history following 10 months of jury selection and another 11 months of testimony.
“Stay out of all kinds of trouble,” Whitaker reportedly told Nichols in court while handing down the negotiated sentence. “Make this a birthday present to yourself, to your wife and your family.”

Young Thug, born Jeffery Williams, has remained in jail since his May 2022 arrest. His girlfriend, Mariah The Scientist, has stood by him while attending numerous court dates and making several jail visits throughout the case.
Last week, Whitaker was weighing whether to declare a mistrial in the case, sparked by an incident involving a state witness revealing “sensitive information” to jury members. If granted, a mistrial would require prosecutors to either restart from scratch or drop the case altogether.
