Billie Eilish Can’t Believe Rihanna Wants to Collaborate With Her: ‘What the F—‘

Billie Eilish just reacted exactly how anyone would to Rihanna saying she wants to collaborate — with utter disbelief.

Shortly after the Fenty Beauty said that the “Bad Guy” singer is her dream duet partner, Eilish reposted the former’s remarks on Instagram Stories Thursday (Oct. 24) and wrote, “what in the absolute f–k.”

“oh my god,” added the two-time Oscar winner. “what the f–k.”

Suffice to say, Eilish is definitely down to get in the studio with Ri, who praised the “What Was I Made For?” artist in a recent interview with Access Hollywood. “If I could only do a song with Billie Eilish,” the billionaire mogul said. “She’s so good.”

Trending on Billboard

Eilish doesn’t often collaborate with other artists, but she did recently jump on Charli XCX’s “Guess” for one of the “Von Dutch” singer’s Brat remixes. The cheeky track followed the nine-time Grammy winner’s May album Hit Me Hard and Soft, which reached No. 2 on the Billboard 200.

As Rihanna diehards know all too well, it’s been much longer since the “Umbrella” singer dropped music. In 2022, she released a song titled “Lift Me Up” for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. She hasn’t released an album since 2016’s Anti, which spent two weeks at No. 1 on U.S. chart.

Though Ri has been mostly focused on her Fenty empire in the years since — in addition to being a parent of two young boys with A$AP Rocky — she did step back into pop-star mode in 2023 to headline the Super Bowl Halftime Show. Next year, her “Loyalty” collaborator Kendrick Lamar will do the honors, about which Ri recently said, “He’s gonna crush it.”

“Kendrick Lamar is the one that’s supposed to do it right now,” she added to Entertainment Tonight Thursday (Oct. 24). “We should never doubt him. He’s an amazing artist, top tier. He had an incredible year. He actually brought so many people together. It’s to be celebrated. That’s what culture is. He deserves it. I cannot wait to see it. Kendrick, thank you.”
