Sean “Diddy” Combs is currently awaiting trial in his explosive sex trafficking case and attorneys for the music mogul have made a bold request. According to a new report, Diddy’s legal team has asked the judge overseeing the matter to reveal the identities of Combs’ accusers.

According to the Associated Press, Diddy’s attorneys presented a letter to a Manhattan federal judge requesting that prosecutors share the identities of the accusers so that the Bad Boy Records founder can prepare for his trial.

Combs will have plenty of time to prepare after a trial date of May 5, 2025, was set last week with Combs entering a not guilty plea. Since his September 16 arrest and subsequent arraignment, Combs has been held at the MDC facility in Brooklyn, which is notorious for having poor conditions for those held in the detention center.

The request from attorneys comes just as six new lawsuits were anonymously filed against Combs. Of the six, four of the accusers were identified as John Does while the other two were Jane Does. According to the filing, these individuals were somehow involved in the music industry and claim Combs used his power and influence over them and assaulted them.

In the letter to Judge Arun Subramania, the attorneys said of the most recent lawsuits and those that came before them that the “swirling allegations have created a hysterical media circus that, if left unchecked, will irreparably deprive Mr. Combs of a fair trial, if they haven’t already.”

Attorneys for Diddy are still angling to have their client freed on bond and given home detention with several promises in place to prove he would remain cooperative in the ongoing matter. However, the court has determined that the entertainer is a danger to the community.
