Anyma Announced As the First Electronic Act to Headline Sphere In Las Vegas

Electronic music is landing at Sphere. After much speculation about which electronic act might be the first to bring the genre to the boundary-pushing venue in Las Vegas, Sphere announced on Monday (July 15) that the role will be filled by Anyma.
The Italian producer, born Matteo Milleri, is also one half of the duo Tale of Us and debuted the Anyma project in 2021. The New Year’s Eve performance will find Anyma bringing his Genesys show to Sphere, marking the final time this show will be performed.
Named for Anyma’s 2023 debut album, Genesys and its 2024 followup Genesys II, the Genesys show has been performed for tens of thousands of people at venues in Asia, Europe, South America and beyond. The albums, like the corresponding visual performance, explore themes of technology, nature, humanity and coexistence.

Anyma is thus well-suited for the venue, with the producer’s production heavily leaning into technology-driven visuals that will likely pop even harder when projected on Sphere’s dome-shaped structure. The performance will mark the first ever Anyma show in Las Vegas, with the performance officially titled Afterlife Presents Anyma, The End of Genesys.
The show is presented by Live Nation. Tickets go on sale on Tuesday, July 23, with a presale happening on July 22.
While Las Vegas is a noted U.S. electronic music hub, since opening in September of 2023, Sphere has not, until now, featured the genre, instead focusing on rock with venue openers U2, along with jam bands via residencies from Phish and Dead & Company. Classic rock will also move into the venue this fall with a residency from the Eagles.
