Chris Brown Gets Stuck Suspended in Midair While Performing During New Jersey Concert: Watch

Chris Brown is a professional on stage. C. Breezy brought his 2024 11:11 Tour to New Jersey’s Prudential Center on Wednesday night (June 12) and experienced a set malfunction that he powered through.

Brown thought it would be a typical performance of “Under the Influence” — where he’s suspended in midair — but quickly realized it wouldn’t be so when he wasn’t being taken back to the ground during the song, leaving him hanging above the stage. While the dancers below him couldn’t do much to help, concert crews at the Prudential Center sprang into action and brought out a ladder to unhook him and bring him down to safety.

The hiccup didn’t stop CB’s singing, though. He continued to perform the song without much of a hitch to give the Newark fans the show they wanted. However, Brown can be seen visibly frustrated once he jumped off the ladder, giving one of the crew members an earful while pointing at them.

The singer will be hanging around the NYC area for the rest of the week, with a show slated for Long Island Friday (June 14), and then he’ll take over the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Father’s Day (June 16).

The 11:11 Tour kicked off on June 5 in Detroit and finds support from Muni Long, Ayra Starr and Maeta. It’s been another successful arena run thus far and, of course, the signature meet-and-greet photos have gone viral from the trek on social media once again.
