Shaboozey is ready to blow out what has already been an epic year so far. The 29-year-old Virginia country rapper who was featured on two songs from Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter album (“Spaghetti” and “Sweet Honey Buckin’”) is riding high with his solo single “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” — which hit No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 — and now he’s revealed the tracklist for his about-to-drop third album.
Where I’ve Been, Isn’t Where I’m Going is out on Friday (May 31), and in addition to his breakthrough single, it will feature the tracks “Horses & Hellcats,” “East of the Massanutten,” “Let It Burn” and “Vegas.” The 12-track album will also have a number of songs with guest features, including “Last of My Kind” with Paul Cauthen, “My Fault” with Noah Cyrus and “Drink Don’t Need No Mix” with BigXThaPlug.
Shaboozey also dropped a two-minute album trailer this week that takes place in a dusty Wild West town and opens with a crusty cowboy pulling down an flyer for a Shaboozey show from a telephone pole before tossing aside a newspaper with a full-page profile of the singer/rapper. Unable to escape the ‘Boozey, the crotchety cowpoke gets frustrated in his truck when a radio announcer talks up “Bar Song,” then tosses his portable radio into the lake after hearing another promo for the smash hit while fishing.

His attitude changes, however, when Shaboozey steps off a tour bus and the two men meet face-to-face on a lonely highway.
