Drake & Adonis Get Their Hair Braided For New NOCTA x Nike Campaign

For his latest NOCTA x Nike drop, Drake keeps the family close and tags in his son Adonis for an intimate campaign celebrating the Air Force 1 Low “Love You Forever.”
Along with showing off their fancy feet, the father-son duo also get their hair braided in the new photos, as Adonis poses in a Nike sweater. The new NOCTA campaign also features polaroids-style shots of Kehlani, Young Nudy, and Jonas Wood with their respective families. According to Hypebeast, the sneakers “feature premium leather uppers accented by redesigned perforated toe panels, and the North Stars motif embroidered at the left heel. Finishing up the design of the shoe are plastic alphabet and number beads, along with molded outsoles with miniature hearts.”
Last month, Kevin Durant was a featured model for Drake‘s NOCTA basketball collection. Durant and Drake’s brotherly relationship is well-documented. The two-time NBA champion recently received A&R credit for Drake’s For All The Dogs and earned an executive producer slot on the rapper’s latest Scary Hours edition.
As for Drake, For All The Dogs continues dominating the charts. Last week, the album rebounded and soared back to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 courtesy of the project’s Scary Hours edition. “You Broke My Heart” and “Evil Ways,” featuring J. Cole, debuted at Nos. 5 and 10, respectively, on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. Those two entries further solidified Drake’s hold on his record for the most top 10s among all artists in the Hot R&B / Hip-Hop Songs department, as he leads the charge with 130.
