The latest London show on the Cowboy Carter Tour was an extra special one for Beyoncé, who had not one but two very important people to celebrate on stage Thursday night (June 12).

Midway through the performance, the pop superstar quickly paused to wish her twins, Rumi — who joined her mother on stage — and Sir, a happy birthday. “Everybody say happy birthday, Rumi,” Bey told the obliging crowd, while 13-year-old Blue Ivy lovingly cupped her little sister’s chin.

“Say happy birthday, Sir!” the 35-time Grammy winner added of her son, who did not appear on stage. “Mommy loves you.”

Bey then kissed her youngest daughter on the head as fans at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium cheered.

Both Blue Ivy and Rumi have regularly appeared on stage alongside their mom during Bey’s “Protector” number, which appears on her Grammy-winning, Billboard 200-topping album Cowboy Carter and features Rumi’s voice. Bey’s eldest daughter also has a few other featured moments in the show, such as the iconic “Deja Vu” dance break.

Beyoncé welcomed Rumi and Sir with Jay-Z in 2017, five years after the power couple first became parents with the arrival of Blue Ivy in 2012. The vocalist has been open about the struggles she faced during her pregnancy with the twins, sharing in her 2019 Homecoming documentary that she battled toxemia, preeclampsia and high blood pressure leading up to their birth.

Thursday’s show marked the fourth of six planned Cowboy Carter performances in London, after which Bey will bring the trek to France before wrapping up with a second stretch of United States dates. The tour is already on track to boast blockbuster sales numbers by its end in late July, with its run of shows at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif., grossing $55.7 million in May — more than any other reported single-venue engagement in 2025 so far, according to Billboard Boxscore.
