After years as one of the music industry’s most respected singers and songwriters, Victoria Monét has now added another title to her résumé: children’s book author.
For the latest installment of Billboard Book Club, the musician will open up about penning Everywhere You Are, an adorable illustrated story about a moon who comforts a young star as they part ways at dawn. Powered by TalkShopLive, Monét’s live, shoppable interview will air at 7 p.m. ET on Wednesday night (June 10), where fans can pre-order a copy of the book with a bookplate autographed by Monét.

Monét’s conversation will also be available for anyone to watch in the video player above.
The conversation will come just a couple of weeks ahead of the June 25 release date of Everywhere You Are, which the Grammy winner first unveiled in October. “I wrote this book in honor of hard working parents wanting to offer a consoling reminder to their children that even when a loved one isn’t right next to us, the love you have for each other still carries so much presence!” she wrote on Instagram at the time of the announcement.
“This book means so much to me! I love many types of writing from poetry to music, and eventually script and it has always been a special dream of mine to write children’s books,” she’d added. “It brings so much joy to know that families will share moments of reflection, understanding and quality time while reading this book for generations to come! I’m passionate about the subject of the book and explaining it in a way that is digestible for a child. I can’t wait to share it.”
Monét has also said that she had her own daughter, 4-year-old Hazel, in mind when writing Everywhere You Are.
Billboard Book Club first launched in April, with its kickoff interview with Spice Girls’ Geri Halliwell-Horner. The singer joined Billboard to talk about her book Rosie Frost: Ice on Fire, the sequel to New York Times bestseller Rosie Frost & the Falcon Queen.
