Jon Loba, president of Frontline Recordings for BMG Americas, has been named the recipient of Country Radio Broadcasters (CRB) Inc.’s 2025 CRB President’s Award.

The honor is presented to people who have displayed “exceptional dedication and played a vital role in shaping the success of the Country Radio Seminar and its mission to advance the country radio format,” according to a press release.

Loba will receive the 2025 CRB President’s Award during the Country Radio Hall of Fame event set for July 21 at the Virgin Hotel Nashville. Other honorees to be recognized during the ceremony include celebrated radio professionals and on-air personalities Big D & Bubba, Mary McCoy and Rowdy Yates, as well as radio industry honorees Ginny “Rogers” Brophey, Clay Hunnicutt and Gregg Swedberg.

“Jon Loba doesn’t just play the game — he redefines it,” CRB/CRS Board president Kurt Johnson said in a statement. “He’s backed legends, bet on new voices, and pushed Country forward at every turn. His impact on CRS is undeniable, and now, with a broader platform at BMG, he’s reminding the industry why Music Row sets the standard. This award isn’t just deserved. It’s overdue.”

Loba has been instrumental in the careers of artists including Jelly Roll, Lainey Wilson, Jason Aldean and Parmalee, and he championed Blanco Brown‘s viral hit “The Git Up,” which reached No. 14 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2019.

Previous executives who have been honored with the CRB President’s Award include longtime radio program director Beverlee Brannigan, former Warner Music Nashville leader John Esposito, Country Music Association CEO Sarah Trahern, former Universal Music Group Nashville (now MCA) label head Mike Dungan and the late country radio personality Bob Kingsley.
